"It's time to make room on Mount Rushmore for President Trump !!!"
As much as we hate everything he stands for, they hate everything we stand for.

Kyle Griffin... ”Gordon Sondland doesn't plan to turn over documents to investigators: "He respects the Committees’ interest in reviewing all relevant materials; however, federal law and State Department regulations prohibit him from producing documents concerning his official responsibilities." He will have a lawyer from DOJ telling him to say nada! Heard something this morning about him....... NOT necessarily 100% true, but fits the situation. There was a meeting in the WH, thinking topic on Ukraine, and Sondland made a comment the they were looking for more dirt in Ukraine. There was an lou audible gasp. John Bolton went ballistic... We know the ending to that.... Sondland is protected and Bolton is gone.

As much as we hate everything he stands for, they hate everything we stand for. Trash! The group behind him is clapping but often not so much. Certainly not so enthusiastic as a whole.. MSNBC just showed him ranting about the mess in Syria and how proud we should be that 'we won' because the troops are out, the guys just stood there behind him, arms folded.... some younger females clapped and cheered. Didn't Omar come here as a kid, not as an adult?

Did I miss this somewhere in this thread? Another one bites the dust. It happened late last night, or that is when is got out. McKinley was a very well liked and respected career employee. He has been upset that pompeo has not stood up for the state dept employees in particular Marie Yovanovitch. Great loss to the foreign service and us, the people.

I wonder how many of those people that were at the MN rally are actually from here? I find it hard to believe he would have that much support in this state. And it was disgusting to see the people in the background just eating up all the lies and fake news crap he was endlessly spewing. How can anybody agree with that stuff he was saying and NOT be racist? SMDH.

Pull troops from Syria/Turkey for to Kurds to be slaughtered............. and........ The Pentagon announced Friday that the U.S. will deploy additional personnel, aircraft and missile defense equipment to Saudi Arabia in response to Iranian aggression. The U.S. will send two fighter squadrons, one Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), two Patriot missile system batteries holding missiles and a launcher, and one Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, chief Pentagon spokesperson Jonathan Hoffman said in a statement.
“As we have stated, the United States does not seek conflict with the Iranian regime, but we will retain a robust military capability in the region that is ready to respond to any crisis and will defend U.S. forces and interest in the region,” the spokesman said.Defense Secretary Mark Esper had authorized the deployment last month at the request of U.S. Central Command and informed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the country's defense minister of the action earlier on Friday. “Taken together with other deployments this constitutes an additional 3,000 forces that have been extended or authorized within the last month,” Hoffman said. The new military personnel and equipment follows last month’s deployment of 200 U.S. military personnel as well as missile defense and radar equipment to the Gulf nation in response to the September attacks on its oil facilities, which the Trump administration has blamed on Iran. The Pentagon said at the time that the equipment would “augment the kingdom's air and missile defense of critical military and civilian infrastructure.” ** More at link: thehill.com/policy/defense/465410-us-to-deploy-additional-troops-aircraft-missile-systems-to-saudi-arabiaThis is how it goes with dt!

Buried in Pres Trump’s tweet fest today, he’s celebrating the cost of prescription drugs decreasing. Meanwhile, the military community is being “supported” like this. www.military.com/daily-news/2019/10/03/tricare-drug-costs-increase-more-40-2020.html/amp[ It’s still great insurance, but continuing being eroded as a benefit of service. Article here Prescription drug costs for Tricare users are set to rise Jan. 1, some by as much as 42%. Effective Jan. 1, 2020, a 90-day supply of generic drugs received through the program's Express Scripts mail-order pharmacy will increase from $7 to $10. Co-pays on brand-name drugs received through the mail will go from $24 to $29; the price rises from $53 to $60 for non-formulary drugs. Generic drug prescriptions filled at retail pharmacies will see the cost rise from $11 to $13 for a 30-day supply, while the same supply of brand-name medications will increase from $28 to $33. Non-formulary drugs -- those not on Tricare's list of fully covered medications -- will go up from $53 to $60. Prescriptions filled on base will continue to be free. Related: Tricare Moves Toward Chiropractic Coverage The price increases, while normal in the civilian world, are fairly new to Tricare. They were mandated by Congress as part of the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act in an effort to bring the amount users pay into line with the actual costs of prescription drugs, which have been skyrocketing in recent years. Per that law, these annual increases will continue until at least 2027. Out-of-network pharmacy costs are also increasing. Users who buy drugs at those pharmacies or overseas must first meet their annual deductible, which varies by Tricare plan. Tricare Prime users pay a 50 percent cost share for the drug after their point-of-service fee. All other users, except active-duty troops, will pay 20 percent of the total cost or $29, whichever is higher, for drugs on the formulary. They will pay 20 percent of the cost or $60, whichever is higher, for off-formulary drugs. Active-duty troops will be reimbursed for any out-of-network pharmacy fees.

Buried in Pres Trump’s tweet fest today, he’s celebrating the cost of prescription drugs decreasing. Really??? Wonder what drugs?? LMFAO My husband has taken a blood thinner for years because he has a clotting disorder. He went to refill his prescription last week, and it has gone from a $50 a month copay to $1700 for a TWO WEEK supply. WTF??? Thankfully, our doctor's office gave him some samples to take until he can get it sorted out, but there is NO freaking way we can afford to spend that amount of money. He said he will just stop taking it and die. ((((

It has more side effects, and it was a pain for them to keep DH’s PT-INR where it should be. But perhaps it is a cheaper option available for your DH if they refuse to budge. I absolutely hate that they pulled that crap on you, especially with no notice, especially with that kind of medication.

Hey dimwit donnie, Turkey just threatened this country. So what are going to do about it? Let Turkey chase our military out of a country?
Brett McGurk...
”Turkish forces have fired on a declared U.S. military outpost in northern Syria. Turkey knows all of our locations down to the precise grid coordinate as confirmed by SECDEF and CJCS only two hours ago. This was not a mistake.”
”Secretary Mnuchin today briefed from the WH podium that Trump signed an authorization to impose sanctions but that no sanctions have been imposed. This is meaningless nonsense. 100k people are already displaced and US soldiers are being fired upon. What’s the bar for sanctions?”
”Hard truth: Erdogan knows that Trump wants U.S. forces to leave Syria. Putin knows that Trump wants U.S. forces to leave Syria. Khamenei and Assad know the same thing. Trump himself yesterday (incredibly) said we no longer have forces in Syria. We do, and today they were shot at.”
“It is dangerous to keep Americans in harm’s way with no support or backing from their commander-in-chief. Marie Yovanovoch spoke to this principle for diplomats confronting the Russians in Ukraine. The same goes for our brave soldiers and diplomats on the ground tonight in Syria.”
”It is equally wrong and immoral to make any false promises to the SDF and suggest that Trump is committed to staying in Syria when everyone knows that he is not. These false promises delayed, and may now have foreclosed, what was an alternative arrangement for them with others.”
“And with each day this Turkish attack continues, the risks increase for American personnel and our ability to get out safely at all becomes gravely jeopardized. Either Trump changes course rapidly and clearly (ASAP) or else it is necessary to plan a safe exit.”
”In January, I wrote reluctantly in WP that in light of Trump’s clear intent, declared to the the world and to our enemies, US policy had to focus on getting our people out safely and allowing the SDF to cut a hard bargain with Damascus and Moscow.”
”The ambitious goals and objectives for Syria as declared by US officials (but never by Trump himself) are dead. The consequences of a shift to a far more limited approach will be serious but need not have been disastrous. It may now be too late, however.”

Is the AG campaigning? Attorney General William Barr blamed secularism in society for a series of problems such as drug overdoses, violence and poor mental health while speaking at Notre Dame's law school. Barr, in a speech largely focused on the role of religion in law, decried what he described as an effort to drive religion away while promoting secularism. "We see the growing ascendancy of secularism and the doctrine of moral relativism," he said. "Basically every measure of this social pathology continues to gain ground." He described several social issues as "consequences of this moral upheaval." "Along with the wreckage of the family, we are seeing record levels of depression and mental illness, dispirited young people, soaring suicide rates, increasing numbers of angry and alienated young males, an increase in senseless violence and a deadly drug epidemic. "Over 70,000 people die a year from drug overdoses," he added. "But I won't dwell on the bitter results of the new secular age." Barr also slammed "so-called progressives," saying that many are "among the militant secularists."A spokesman for the university told the South Bend Tribune this week that the topic of Barr's speech would be "religious freedom." ** thehill.com/homenews/administration/465472-ag-barr-blames-drug-overdoses-on-secular-societyBarr was supposed to speak on religious freedom? Guess he missed the mark on thaat! No, he spoke about the role of religion in the law? How about HONOR at the top of the list, Mr Barr?!?!?!

Stephen Miller at his best?!?!?! White House adviser Stephen Miller defended President Trump in a lengthy back-and-forth with reporters Friday, accusing Democrats of engaging in "witch hunt part two" with their impeachment inquiry.
Miller singled out House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) in his criticism of congressional Democrats. He also lashed out at the media for its coverage of the Ukraine controversy. “I think Adam Schiff, and I think the entire House Democratic caucus, is humiliating and embarrassing themselves,” Miller told reporters at the White House after taping a television interview. “They’re running these secret sham proceedings, a violation of every principle of justice, due process and fairness that is embedded in our constitution and our cultural history and centuries of legal precedent,” he added.** Asked whether Trump officials were uncomfortable defending the president amid mounting questions about his dealings with Ukraine, Miller replied: “That’s a ludicrous question.” “We’re all 100 percent behind not only this incredible president but exposing the corruption of the permanent bureaucracy, also known as the deep state, and the Washington Democrats that are engaged in this scam and witch hunt,” Miller said. Miller is one of the first White House officials to speak with reporters over the past week. ** He cited Biden’s position as the vice president at a time when his son, Hunter, received a lucrative contract from a Ukrainian energy firm as evidence of corrupt behavior. Miller also noted that Biden was the point person for the Obama administration’s Ukraine efforts at the time. “Every element of the corruption is substantiated," Miller said. He sidestepped a question about why Trump hadn’t asked Attorney General William Barr to investigate the Bidens if the allegations were so compelling, and why Giuliani was investigating them instead. “You should all be grateful that Rudy Giuliani is helping to shine a light on the endemic corruption that occurred when Joe Biden was vice president,” Miller said. He added that there was “absolutely no comparison” between the concerns raised about Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings while his father was vice president and Ivanka Trump’s overseas business dealings during her father's presidency.** thehill.com/homenews/administration/465465-stephen-miller-defends-trump-accuses-democrats-of-witch-hunt-part-twoSham hearing, really depositions, which representatives can walk in and listen to and someone today said that they could ask questions too! Everyone in the WH is 100% behind the president? How come so very many leaks than? He thinks the corruption charges against Hunter Biden are all substantiated?!?! We should be greatful that Rudy is doing the Ukraine/Biden investigation? Actually it may turn out better that he is, because it has blown up into the public view for all to see!! Hunter was wrong and Ivanka in China is all ok?!?!?
