Evan Rosenfeld.. ”President Trump: “Foreign nations looking at us — they honestly think we’re nuts!” He is blathering at the rally and talking about the impeachment claiming Nancy Pelosi hates this country. The rant ends with the comment above. He is right, those outside think we are nuts, but not why he thinks. Dimwit. Is he really that stupid? Does he really not comprehend what is happening? Guessing his mother was so right all those years ago!

Even Donald Trump’s Mother Was Afraid That She Had Raised a MonsterBy Travis Gettys / Raw Story November 3, 2017 "You don’t have to be Freud or Fellini to interpret this." President Donald Trump’s bizarre and outlandish behavior has prompted a lot of speculation about his psychological state — and what role his parents played in shaping his peculiar personality. Trump’s own mother pondered the question herself, according to a new Politico Magazine profile that examines the president’s upbringing and relationship with his parents. “What kind of son have I created?” wondered Mary Trump in an interview from 1990, when the future president was divorcing his first wife and faced ruinous debt.Politico interviewed some of Trump’s childhood friends and business associates, as well as some psychologists, to get a sense of the relationship between him and his mother — whom the president rarely mentions. “You don’t have to be Freud or Fellini to interpret this,” said Mark Smaller, former president of the American Psychoanalytic Association. Another former president of that organization told Politico that children learn crucial traits — trust, security and a sense of reality — from a so-called “ordinary, devoted mother.” “Your mother helps you identify your feelings and develop a cognitive structure so you don’t have to act on them immediately,” said former APA president Prudence Gourguechon, “and I think it’s fair to say that the capacity for empathy develops through your maternal relationship.” Trump’s mother, who died at 88 in 2000, was a dignified but distant figure in his childhood, according to friends from that time. ** www.alternet.org/2017/11/even-donald-trumps-mother-was-afraid-she-had-raised-monster/

Can anyone explain how Warren was crude or vulgar with her response? And dt's language at his rallies is not out right inappropriate! Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) criticized Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D-Mass.) response to a town hall question about same-sex marriage earlier this week. On Warren's response, Rubio tweeted Saturday, "Vividly captures the condescension of elites & their incessant ridicule of Americans with traditional values. It elicits glee among celebrities & blue check brigade." "But for the millions sick of being disrespected it elicits support for fighting back, even in a crude or vulgar way," Rubio continued. *** At a televised LGBTQ forum Thursday, a member of the crowd asked Warren how she would respond if a supporter approached her and said, "Senator, I’m old-fashioned, and my faith teaches me that marriage is between one man and one woman." "Well, I’m going to assume it’s a guy who said that," Warren replied. "I’m going to say, 'Then just marry one woman. I’m cool with that.'" Warren's response garnered laughter from the audience. After the laughter subsided, Warren added, "Assuming you can find one," which caused the crowd to burst into applause and more laughter. ** thehill.com/homenews/senate/465539-rubio-hits-warrens-crude-and-vulgar-response-to-opposition-to-same-sex

Nothing Marco Rubio states is worth the energy to respond. He is just pandering to his idiots.

trump tweeted this earlier today. I guess he is repeating some guy he heard on Fox News. I think what is in this tweet is sick but had no words..
”The case of Major Mathew Golsteyn is now under review at the White House. Mathew is a highly decorated Green Beret who is being tried for killing a Taliban bombmaker. We train our boys to be killing machines, then prosecute them when they kill! @petehegseth”
But IMO Bill Kristol did..
”We train our boys to be killing machines.” No we don’t. And it’s beyond disgusting that an American president would say this about our military. Shouldn’t senior military leaders set the record straight?”

“California governor signs bill limiting oil, gas development”
“California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday signed a law intended to counter Trump administration plans to increase oil and gas production on protected public land.
The measure bars any California leasing authority from allowing pipelines or other oil and gas infrastructure to be built on state property. It makes it difficult for drilling to occur because federally protected areas are adjacent to state-owned land.”
😀. I’m sure trump’s goons will challenge the law in court.

Long long read on the Villages and their healthcare plan.... UnitedHealthcare.... MedicareAdvantage.. They’re Retired. They’re Insured. The Government Pays for It. And Trump Loves It.Trump talks Medicare in a retirement enclave where doctors are a golf-cart ride away. by Akilah Johnson Oct. 3, 12:30 p.m. EDT ** It is a community of 115,000 residents that decided to make medical care a golf-cart ride away in 2013 by creating its own health system, paid for by Medicare but managed by the Minnesota-based health insurance giant UnitedHealthcare. The company is a leader in a movement intended to give patients more choice, while offering insurers a big share of federal Medicare dollars. Now, as President Donald Trump campaigns for reelection while fighting an impeachment effort in Washington, it is the place he’ll visit on Thursday to trumpet this privately run alternative as a model of what Medicare should look like. Under Medicare Advantage, the federal government still foots the bill, but it is a starkly different model than the universal, Medicare-for-all plans some Democratic presidential candidates are pushing. Medicare Advantage has come under scrutiny recently from everyone from health care advocates to the U.S. Department of Justice. Insurers in the program have been criticized for cherry-picking customers by moving into the healthiest communities that offer the best chance of profit and for overbilling the government for unjustified services. Advantage plans were initially billed as a way to contain costs, but it’s unclear if that actually happened. Some studies found the average annual costs were about the same between the two programs, while others have said Medicare Advantage is actually more expensive. The Villages, experts say, is exactly the kind of well-to-do, relatively healthy community that Medicare Advantage insurers have focused on — and it’s where Trump will sell his approach before an invitation-only crowd. Billed as an official White House visit, the president can expect a supportive political audience in a pocket of Florida an hour northwest of Orlando where seniors like Hahn praise Trump for his efforts to, as she puts it, “straighten this country out.” (Me: so an invitation only rally we pay the full tab for but we can't go?) ** Like traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage is part of the current federal health insurance program for most adults over 65 and young people who meet federal disability requirements. The idea of allowing private insurers to offer Medicare benefits has been around since the 1970s but wasn’t christened with the name until 2003. Many Advantage plans bring together the various parts of Medicare — hospital care and doctor visits, prescription drug coverage — into a single package that usually offers additional benefits such as dental and vision coverage. They differ in how the government pays for those benefits, paying by the service in traditional Medicare versus giving insurance companies a lump sum per person annually with Medicare Advantage. Another difference is that beneficiaries are restricted to a defined network of providers like an HMO or preferred provider organization. Today, more than one third of all Medicare beneficiaries, or about 22 million people, opt for privately managed health care plans, a dramatic increase from 5.3 million at the advent of the program in 2003. ** Link:https://www.propublica.org/article/the-villages-trump-visit-medicare-advantage-retired-insured-the-government-pays-for-it It is long, but better to read the whole piece.. Digest it and read it again and understand it all... Anyone can get a Medicare supplement plan if they would like to. Several companies have them. You don’t have to live in the villages or in Florida. In fact, I’d wager that supplement plans This is why I can not understand why Republicans keep saying private insurance would have to disappear if we instituted Medicare for all. And you would no longer get insurance from your employer. No, private insurance might change, but I highly doubt it would disappear. In fact, I bet supplemental insurance industry would bloom & improve to offer more choices. I also think employers would offer better plans to attract employees because they wouldn’t have to pay the ‘basics’ Anymore. The argument that private insurance would disappear is completely untrue.
