very cool shirt lynnek - I have the supplies to make a Girl Scout shirt for DD13 but I've never done a shirt before and I'm hesitant to try for some reason. I totally get that! This is only the third shirt I have done. On my Silhouette it reminds you now of the most important thing - flip your design before cutting so that it irons on correctly. It really isn’t hard at all, just intimidating to start, but I say you should go for it! 😀

I love your cards! They inspire me to give a cardmaking a try! I had to LOL at Skelecat because that smelly cat song started running through my head before I even finished reading the front of the card lol. but I have to say "skelecat" is my fave; I sing that song or variations of that song all them time It is a wicked earworm, isn't it?! joyfulnana you should definitely try making some cards! I have a really simple formula for my patterned paper ones. Take a 12x12 sheet of cute paper with a design you love, cut it into 4" strips, then cut them at 5.25" to make 6 panels. Stitched die cut them slightly smaller for a little added pizzazz. If you get matching ephemera or a cut apart sheet (Doodlebug usually does one with sentiments) you can add some little details. Mat the layers if they don't stand out enough. Use scraps to make little flags or banners or whatever. Or use a bold word die cut. DONE! The 3 ends that are left from cutting the strips into panels can make another card, so you can get 7 cards from every sheet of 12x12 paper. I also do something similar with 6x6 pads.

Here's what I made yesterday. I got the papers from a friend's etsy shop. I have absolutely no idea what brand they are, they are really different from anything I've seen. They were single sided, and she sold them as a package with a few each of 4x6, 3x4, 2x2, and 2x6?, but they are all pretty busy so I had some challenges making them work together. Very slow going. But, FOXES!! I love the foxes. So a year or two later I'm finally turning them into cards instead of hoarding them away. I still have a few pieces that aren't quite coming together, and a few scraps that I will hoard in my journal Fox cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr

lynnek We were vacationing at Disney. The pirate adventure is a fun child drop off option at one of the resorts. It was perfect for my husband and I to get our for a break and the kids to have fun! Your shirt is so fun too! I love making shirts! I made the Lost Boys shirt my boys are wearing in the picture on my LO. Thankfully they like wearing them. kitbop I like the Christmas page! I always seem to struggle with them! Yours looks great! Dictionary The cards are great! I don’t have the patience for them, but yours are amazing! I love the yeti One. joblackford Wow! You can whip out those cards and they look great! Very creative! I love fall and those you did are perfect! AussieMeg Great job on tweaking the colors. Perfect match! I’ve never been able to “do” digital scrapping right. My designs never seem to reflect what I was aiming for. I’ll stick to paper and hybrid, but yours look great

Today I finished off 19 cards that I had started last month. More of the cute IACB bears, and a SSS animal stamp. I got the ScanNCut out to get them cut out quickly. I stamped sentiments on a huge stack of scraps leftover from die cutting (2 years ago - I couldn't throw them away, so glad I finally found a good use for them!) 19 more cards done for Christmas donations. I'm signing the 100 cards for Caring Hearts card drive this afternoon. Not my favorite part of the process. I've gotten through 60 so far... nylene'Cardtober #2' What an adorable card! I love the trick-or-treaters peeking out from the trunk of the car. Cuteness all around right down to the tiny critters. The green you picked to make the car offers great colour contrast to the orange and brown touches of the Halloween theme. I adore that you turned the car's license plate into a 'Happy Halloween' sign, so smart! boymom5 Alas, I can't comment on your creations as they are showing up blurred and hidden behind the Photobucket logo. It looks colourful and detailed from what I can make out. And I think I recognised the beautiful Lost in Neverland collection from Echo Park. Is everyone else seeing these creations blurred or is it just me? kitbop'From Meh to Marvelous' Oooh, this is a fun Christmas LO! I am digging all the fun little ways you managed to add playfulness to an otherwise classy-looking project. The different shapes have been clustered so well together, like a perfect, dynamic puzzle (circles, tag, rectangular photos, zig-zag, banner) and I love that you went all in by choosing geometric pattern paper for extra contrast and energy. Your multi-font/Thickers title looks amazing and ever so festive. Great job! Dictionary'Cardtober #2' Just look at those adorable yetis! I'm a little bit in love, I think... I love that you let them shine on some white and that you kept their colouring so powdery and dreamy. They look like the gentlest mountain giants ever. The garland light pattern paper is the perfect touch to frame this cute scene in and give some extra festive flair. This card will make its recipient smile, for sure. 'Cardtober #1' Dreamy, dreamy, dreamy! You've done a beautiful job creating this night scene. Amazing inking skills on display here! It's giving me so many cosy winter vibes. I love the blue and white contrast and choice to keep it monochromatic. The white dots give the card a great sense of dynamics and depth. 'Cardtober #3' Oh, that's a cute take on Halloween cards. Love your girl character's kitty hat (and you did great with the colouring of it). Great layering of paper to create the framing as well, by the way. The purple and black colour theme is very pretty. Crushin' on your vertical dynamic here with the cascade of hair, spider descending from the top and chevron pattern paper. Nicely done! lynnek 'Doherty Spartans T-shirt' That's a very pretty school/sports team suppert T-shirt. The pompoms tucked in behind the text look great and add just a little touch of whimsy. You did great and I would absolutely not have guessed this is only your third home-made tee! joblackford'Fall Cards' Such a pretty colour scheme happening here! Those orange hues with the teal look amazing. The mice pattern paper and sewing mice design are especially cute... You did great getting so many different cards out of that one collection. 'Skele Cat' Oh my, I giggled out loud at these cards! Wonderful play on words and Friends reference. My inner Phoebe approves! I've been watching Friends episodes while sick at home this week and just saw the one with Phoebe's Smelly Cat music video so this is perfectly timed. *chef's kiss* Loving the striking black and white colour theme as well. It's wonderful and I think your friends are going to crush on these as much as I have. AussieMeg'Long Hot Summer Nights' Beautiful and dreamy. I'm longing for summer again just looking at this LO. Lovely mirroring of the sunset in the photos with your background paper choice. I love the floral bits and circles "growing" out from behind the main elements. A soft and poetic statement.

sleepingbooty, those cards are the cutest! I especially love the cut out background on the first one, it's so intricate and effective. (Sorry, I don't know the correct terminology so I went with "cut out background"! )

joblackford, I love all the cards you have posted. I especially like the recipe you posted of how to start with cards. The “Skelecats” are so cute. I have never seen that cute stamp. It’s a perfect Halloween fun card. I left love in the gallery for the others. sleepingbooty, I love that die cut background on your ghosties card. Your background inking/watercolor is perfect behind the city skyscape. Adorable ghosts! I love the little bit of color you added to them to make them stand out. ~ Your broom-rider is so cute. I’d love to know how you made that background. I love the number of colors you used and the white spatters over top. Another cute city skyscape. Really fun Halloween cards. Using the dimensional adhesive on your little animals/ghosts really add to the overall look I left love in the gallery for all the rest of you scrappers. Amazing work, friends.

sleepingbooty I love those cards! I'm sure the recipient will love them! Thanks for the heads up on the pics from the first page. I accidentally used photobucket instead of flickr and now I remember why I didn't like photobucket! I reloaded them from flickr so they aren't blurred anymore.

nylene what fun you had with your card, so pretty. boymom5 You have been very productive this month and have made some amazing layouts documenting your families life. kitbop you have been busy too. Layouts and cards! I too need to figure out which Sketchember sketches I still want to use! You've been rocking both! lynnek The shirt is really cool, did you make just one, or multiples? joblackford Some really fun cards. I like your recipe when using 12 x 12 sheets. What a great idea! AussieMeg Your digital layouts are amazing. I tried digi for awhile, but decided I liked being inky better But with digi it is easier to match your colors in photos sleepingbooty your halloween cards are super fun with the die cut and city. dasmith2 glad you found some mojo, your page is great with all the layers and such.
