grammadee 'Cardtober #1' Beautiful Cardtober challenge illustrated with an even more beautiful card! I absolutely love the hints of moodiness in your card rendition with those slightly dark clouds on the horizon. The pine trees peeking out from behind the top hill are such a cute touch. I love your mixed media touches to give extra texture and dimension. And those blue robins are absolutely adorable (I love that you put them down on the snow rather than close to the sky for some extra contrast). nylene'Cardtober #1' Oh my, look at your lush and perfectly blended background! So rich in colour and so even. Love the white splatter (I'm very partial to this technique) and your decision to use black and white contrast to add to your beautiful background. It's striking! Those black flora elements are perfect. All in all, you're making me swoon and dream of those long summer eves that are now gone... The recipient will be very happy finding this in the mail.

This is for Card #2. Happy Halloween Truck boymom5, I'm sure you can make cards. There are some great sketches and ideas on Pinterest and the Cardtober prompts this month here in the Stamping section are great helps. They can be complicated or very simple. Try some. I'm sure you will surprise yourself.

I am sharing this because I made this shirt, not sure if it will count for points because I am not sure other crafts is on the sheet this month. So, I will see when the official sheet is done. Anyway, on a Silhouette Design facebook group this stacked font design on shirts has been floating around. I got the itch to try it. I had bought the glitter iron on stuff so I just jumped in. It is by far the most complicated shirt I have ever done. Well, to be honest, it is the third shirt I have ever done, so I am pleased with the results.

boymom5 , those pages are AMAZING! That 3-D wreath is gorgeous, and great work using those perfectly suited Neverland papers for the boys’ adventures! Such different moods, but all creatively fantastic! I love scrapping a vacation right after returning home when all the memories are fresh and new. That shirt looks really cool, lynnek. If the other crafts didn’t pop up this month, you can still claim any of the team challenge points that apply. Hoping to catch everyone else on Flickr.

8 Halloween cards: I started singing this song to myself during Halloween skeleton animal cardmaking last year and then had the idea to make cards of it (a Friends reference that I hope most people recognize!). I will probably add a note inside that says "it's not your fault!" (btw I'm keeping this picture set to private so my friends don't see it on Flickr before they get it in the mail.) I printed the text using Photoshop and added the cats (Michaels skeleton animals stamp from 2018, cut with SNC). I'm still figuring out which text style I like and what copyright free font/lettering I can use to be able to sell this. Fall cards: sorry about the weird light on these. I made 22 cards yesterday, destined for my shop, once I figure out how to group them. Two sets of 6 cards (3 fall leaf cards and 3 mason jar/mouse cards). The papers are from Doodlebug, an older fall collection I got in a "seasons" bundle. Random inherited cardstock for mat layer. Fall card sets by jo.blackford, on Flickr left: offcuts cards using leftovers from another set of cards I made. The sentiments are from a cut apart sheet. right: 4x6 cut aparts from the same Doodlebug fall collection that was part of the "seasons" bundle I bought. Slightly trimmed to fit on cards with little scrap banner details. Fall cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr From the same Doodlebug "seasons" package, unknown fall collection, 4x6 and 4x4 cut aparts die cut or just trimmed to fit on cards. The bold floral is the backside of two cut aparts I couldn't use. Sentiments from a cut apart sheet, layered and/or trimmed into banners. Fall cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr I'm working on some fox cards today but it's slower going. Gotta get my headphones on and get in the zone.
