My first one for double-dip points today Using Sketch Sept. 16 - really did not think this was my style, but I love how it came out. I kept it super simple (for me) to let those old scraps of Christmas paper shine (OA at the top!) layout sock and co in the lobby by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Here are some cards I finished a couple of days ago (I previously shared another of these, last month I think): Fairy lights in dark woods cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Here's what I did today. Recycled cards: (ETA: From my late MIL's estate - a card that she had disassembled to re-use, and a card from my SIL to her that again, I believe she saved to re-use. The gold card had some bits that hasn't embossed very well so stuck a SSS sentiment over that spot. I stuck the elephant card together (the red strip is actually on the inside of the card) and then stuck the whole thing on a new card base. I'll donate these.) Recycled Christmas cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Doodlebug stickers/cut-apart cards (15 done) Simple Doodlebug Christmas cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Doodlebug cut-aparts Christmas cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Doodlebug cut-aparts Christmas cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Doodlebug cut-aparts Christmas cards by jo.blackford, on Flickr Of course my "pick one thing" is Doodlebug die cuts and I didn't use any of those today (on Double Dip Day)... But I figure I'll get a decent number of points from these guys. I haven't even started calculating, and I'm horribly behind on comments. Sorry, everyone.

Going back to pages 3 and 4 to look at your creations, Linda... Wow! Such a lot of creativity! Especially since you have not been feeling well. Sister Time: love the green/navy combo and how you use banners to back the photos. The little corner treatment with the cs strip and the heart is sweet. 1st Vote: Awesome event to document. Love that you have a photo to scrap. The subtle patterned background with the navy & burgundy is really effective. UCF Move In: Love the pink with the teal and how you overlapped the photos. 6th Grade: dynamic colours. Great photo. Love the double matting. Home is where your CAT is: the strips of kitty pp are perfect. Love that you used a PL card as your title. Ride: love that running horse panel! Great photos. Nice use of the straw in the background. Splash: good job using a kit that didn't quite "fit your style". I think you used it really well! The pinks actually make all the blues in the photos pop, and the patterns do not overwhelm your pic's. My room: such a sweet tribute to a well loved furry family member! Great photo of Smokey. Love the fish elements & smokey colours, and the story really fits the look on his face! Perfect score: you do such an awesome job documenting your kids' school experiences! Love the florals here and the little owl in the corner. untitled: love the Japanese lantern. Looks like your dd is really creative--just like her mum! 6th: love the little banner/apple piece. You always seems to sneak in at least one small perfect element even on a Clean and Simple page! Homework: perfect pp choice! Love that typewriter letter background! And the green perfectly matches her shirt: do you shop for clothing and cs at the same time LOL? The journey begins: love the journaling on top of the photos and sometimes spanning two of them. Whew! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us!

Hopefully you'll see my responses to all the lovely comments on Flickr but just in case not, yes, the star background paper is sold by the sheet at scrapbook.com, just search for Ella and Viv papers. They have some very useful ones, including some watercolor wash papers that look wonderful with florals stamped on them.

Dictionary you have been busy! Left love on Flickr for the cards I found there. Noticed your SNOW cards aren't there. Love the two different designs, each with its different way to add texture and depth. I think I have that child-on-sled die, and now I want to pull it out. Your t-shirts are really cool, too.

This one was like pulling teeth. Started with September sketch #10 from joyfulnana, but struggled to find papers that worked with the indoor lit photo colours. Ended up in my scraps bin for paper. Then I thought I'd have fun with my title - glueing together 3 layers of tiny letter die-cuts to make "Invasion" and then inking them gold - took me forever! Keeping track of the dot for the letter "i" But I'm happy with it in the end! layout Invasion of the face snatchers by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Linda, I love your flying page. The planes in your title block are really cool. Who needs journaling with such beautiful scenic photos? I love the 12 cards you made for Halloween. Do you always send Halloween cards? These will be enjoyed and loved by the recipients. Great use of the cut aparts.~ Those gingham cards with cut aparts are really pretty. My favorite is the jar of flowers with the sentiment, You Inspire Me. Very classy. Dictionary, your shirt is amazing. I love the foiled words and classy design. You have done a fabulous job!

I finally got around to doing another layout. I have spent literally 4 days going through the digital store of Cindy Schneider trying to choose some templates to buy, thanks to a Pea (Jacqueline Bruce, aaaargh I don't know her Pea name!) who posted a gorgeous layout in the gallery using one of her templates. I ended up buying about 12 templates, so that should keep me busy for a while. This one is from the 'Double It Up: Set 20' and the kit is 'Summer Days' by Bella Gypsy. Points: # photos (14), #8 multi generation, #13 kit, #14 button & thread (2), #15 patterns (2), #18 shapes (2), #22 wood, #23 cluster (10), #24 ribbon, #25 digital, #28 pen & tell it (10), #31 bling (2), #41 someone you love (2), #42 stitching, #46 leaves, #59 banner & label (2), #64 date, #65 rectangle, #66 square, #69 color your world, #72 dots, #73 enlarge, #74 shrinky dink (5), #75 layer up, #82 journaling TOTAL = 66 points

Dictionary - another gorgeous card - very elegant looking kitbop - I'm sorry that the layout gave you such grief but it turned fabulous! joblackford - you are the queen of cute cards! nylene _ I don't always send Halloween cards but I usually do - other than my children, most of the people I mail to regularly are elderly shut-ins so I like to think seasonal cards in the mail will brighten their day a little. AussieMeg - such bright summery colours - perfect with their bathing suits! Another gorgeous layout I was supposed to camp this weekend but DD wasn't feeling well so we stayed home. So I'm scrapping instead - here's one with silly pics DH sent me from his airport layover on a business trip.
