I recently decided to go all-in on a K-beauty routine and now I'm fully addicted lol
Wondering if peas have any favorite products to recommend - or ones to avoid.

I don't have any suggestions but am wondering which products you currently love?

Missha makes a great snail mask! I also use some of their essences and serums.

Here are my favorite Korean skin care products: 1. WHEN travel mate sheet masks. These sheet masks are amazing. I usually do a sheet mask at night and my skin feels moist and glowing. Not cheap at $7 per mask, but a nice treat once in a while. 2. Tony Moly Rice Sheet Mask, comes in a pack of 2, $7.50. 3. Too Cool for School Egg Cream Masks. Love these masks. They really moisturize your skin. 4. Belif Aqua Bomb: Got a sample size in my Sephora beauty box and love this product. It's really moisturizing, though I don't think I will spend the money ($38) to buy the big size version. Haven't tried this yet, but this set looks awesome: Sephora Favorites: Soko to Tokyo. Korean and Japanese sample size products ($40). I love those sephora favorites sets. Hmm, may try this!

I don't have any suggestions but am wondering which products you currently love? I am using Erborian for double cleansing - the solid cleansing oil and the mousse. The oil is especially great, but I like the mousse too. I'd be open to trying another water-based cleanser when I use up the mousse, but I see myself sticking with the oil. I am also using the Son & Park Beauty Water (toner) and May Coop Raw Sauce (essence). I guess I like them? lol I kind of changed everything I was using at once and while I am VERY happy with what my skin is doing as a result, it's hard to know what is critical to the condition of my skin and what's not. I kind of wish I'd switched products in stages so I could better assess individual products' effectiveness. I've used the Caolion Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo a couple times and I'm neutral on it. It's effective but a little drying on my skin. I also use the AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel powder a couple times a week and it's pretty great. I am deeply in love with the AmorePacific Color Control Cushion Compact - I have never liked a foundation this much. It's very sheer, but buildable and NEVER looks like you have makeup on. The one downside is it's fragranced. I wish it wasn't, but it doesn't bother my skin and I adore everything else about it, so I will continue to use it. I also really like the Too Cool for School Egg Cream firming sheet mask. Again, not crazy about the fragrance, but it gave me great results. I'm thinking about getting the Dr Jart Water Fuse Sleeping Mask, but haven't yet. Some people were raving about it (non employees) last time I was in Sephora. Online reviews also look promising. Where I haven't switched yet is moisturizer. I also use a non-K-Beauty vitamin C serum that was recommended here and plan to continue with that for the time being.

Tony Moly makes nice hand creams. I like Dr. Jart's water drop moisturizer. And their BB cream. Oh, and I like the belif aqua bomb moisturizer like craftmepink. (They have a hungarian water essence that I thought was going to be liquid like a toner, but it feels very similar to the Dr Jart Water Drop.) I don't have much in the way of K-Beauty otherwise.

What is supposed to be better about Korean beauty products? It's not necessarily about the products being Korean, but following the principles of Korean skincare (double cleansing, essences, herbal infusions, etc.). Korean women are known for being very serious about protective, preventative skincare that creates healthy, glowy, as-flawless-as-possible skin. They focus a lot less on makeup that gives the illusion of perfect skin and a lot more on actually healthy skin.

One of my co-workers just started using Soko I think it's called. Wow! Her skin looks fabulous after just a few uses.

I have been double cleansing for about three years now. For my oils, I don't use specific Korean products, I follow the oil cleansing method from the skin care addiction subreddit. It is a great resource for Korean products! And for routines. Once I started double cleansing in my normal routine I experienced much better looking skin. It is dewy and glowing.
I would also recommend under eye patches. I just got some from Amazon for $4.00. I keep my eye patches and sheet masks in the fridge for about 20 minutes before I use them, it adds another level of calm.

WHy did I read this thread? You all suck butt (yes, I feel much better for blaming all of you).
I lived in Korea & Japan for years, didn't know so many products were available here. That Sephora set is calling my name.

Sounds interesting. I did some reading online and its tempting to try the Sephora box or at least the oil cleansing. I've thought about trying the oil cleansing method before but what kept me from it was that I thought once you started, you shouldn't mix OCM and other cleansers.
I have a ton of products from ipsy bags that it would be nice to be able to use in a routine like this.

If you go to www.reddit.com/r/skincareaddiction you will find tons of resources of different routines and products to use. I use their oil cleansing method and their day time SPF routine. The side bar has all of the informational posts linked so you shouldn't have to search around too much.

I use OCM to remove my make up and to steam my face in preparation for my regular cleanser. I use a much gentler cleanser, but that's the only thing that has changed after I switched to OCM.
