one thing to keep in mind with built-ins is that what looks great to you on paper (or seen in a youtube video or whatever) may not end up working great for you and then you're stuck with it forever.

i've had the best luck with the gellyroll pen, the posca paint pen and another from i think marvy (purchased at joann). i never had good luck with the uniball signo pens.

that stinks! both that you weren't satisfied with your order and that you were treated badly. i would be sure to let them know why you won't be a returning customer!
i never order from them because i live in AZ and would therefore have to pay sales tax on top of everything else.

sleepingbooty my travel platform arrived today! i played with it for like 5 minutes and am thinking i'm really going to like it. my biggest stamping issue is probably getting the pressure right and this tool is perfect for that. and i don't see super well, so lining things up to restamp is next to impossible for me; definitely the best thing about the platform. i've said before i'm not a stamper (i don't make cards, don't own any fancy layering stamps, just occasionally will stamp on a LO), but hope this will help me actually use the stamps i do own more often. i say go for it!!

i'm enjoying the layering class from shimelle, too, although i must say it's not quite what i thought it would be. not in a bad way at all! but then i'm a shimelle junkie who could probably watch her make one LO 50 times in a row and not get bored as to clusters, i am truly no good at them either. i just stick a bunch of stuff down and go on my merry way! i really suck at mixed media too, but i keep bumbling through. when i was looking at my old LOs, i was admiring how clean and simple they were. well, this morning when trying to recreate one, i couldn't help myself and junked it all up with stuff. guess that's just where i've evolved to or something. and that's ok too

kiwigirl WTG on 20 points!! (hmm, should I be telling the opposing team that? ) your monochromatic LO is lovely; so many fun goodies to look at! I love the texture, especially the ricrac stapled in place grammadee what fun pages! Love that toothy grin and all the fun tooth embellies; I especially like that you added his questions. Your watercolor background looks fab! KelleeM I adore your hoppy easter page! The colors are so perfect and I love the bunny and added sparkle with the sequins! Your nuvo page is awesome too; I really like the design with all the embellishment kept to the right side. Love those sweet photos too! patin your st. michael’s page is da bomb with all those fussy cut flames! Lots of interesting info on there too I also really like the cruise page with the awesome background; did the photo come that way? Very cool!

woodysbetty those are some beautiful cards! my favorite is the one with the doily; so simple in terms of amount of product used, but very elegant and all these amazing cards on this thread are why i don't make them myself! for some reason, cards and pages are vastly different to my mind, and i just can't wrap it around cardmaking. which is totally cool because i never send anyone cards anyway

i was unfortunately up at oh god thirty and worked a bit on a page but soon tired of it, so that's on the agenda for later! today is my last day of work for this week, so i'll have lots of scrappy time the next two days and am hoping to really bust some stash. i have several kits waiting for me, but am reluctant to cut into them for some reason

grammadee what fun! Love the photo cluster on the left page but oh, that grin on the right! He is a cutie patootie! It’s great you had those themed things hanging around; you put them to good use here. And they say hoarding is a bad thing, pfft! kiwigirl love love your K&Co. page! I really like all the goodies popping out of the top of your photo and those fun butterflies and acrylic pieces! Chinagirl828 so so pretty! I really like the soft colors with all the b&w! kitbop lovely pages! I really love the background on vacation vibes and all the fun bright colors and stitching details! I really like the design on hustle; especially the circular bits to balance with all the straight edges. The little sun is adorable too! MDscrapaholic your 4 pages are fabulous! I’m impressed with how you made them all so different. They’ll be a great addition to each of the albums and I definitely can’t wait to see your party of 5 versions! anniefb you are a card-making Picasso, girl, love them all! My favorite is the pop up box; so so adorable!

mikklynn grr how annoying! i'm sure you enjoyed spending time with your guests, but what inconvenient timing! hope you get some scrappy time tonight my extremely random thought for the day: because of the "which becky came first" thread, i was searching to find the LO i did for pagemaps; that led me down a rabbit hole for quite a long time, looking at all my old LOs from 2007 on (all my previous LOs burned up in a fire in december 2006). even with a baby in the house i scrapped over 100 pages a year back then, so it was great fun going down memory lane. anyway, i decided i really loved some of my old pages and copied some of them into a folder so i can scraplift myself. kind of excited to get started on it!

i haven't read any of the replies, so excuse me if i put my foot in it somehow... i'm not a stamper. don't make cards and don't use many stamps in my scrapping. however, i do occasionally stamp and i seriously suck at it, so i bought the TH travel platform and am waiting on it to arrive. i have only seen her posts on this board, not on any other board or FB group or anything else; based on those posts here, there is no way in freakin hell i would ever give that cow a penny. so that's my 2 cents

wish i could see more of the crate stuff; seemed to me the best look was at bo bunny and i pretty much always always think they're hideous the gold puffy (?) stickers from crate look promising! i agree about the pebbles word thickers too, yum! i stopped when she moved onto halloween because even though it's my favorite, i just don't have any halloween pics!
