I finished 2 Valentine's cards tonight! So glad to have them done! As a bonus, I used my puzzle piece punch that I hadn't used in ages!

With all the scrapping I've been getting done the past week, I've realized that I'm really into flat pages. That is something I NEVER thought I'd say! I was the queen of dimension and pop dots! But I'm really appreciating the flatter look in my albums and being able to fit more pages in the albums.

Last night, I finished 3 pages and made 1 card. Although, I didn't meet any of the specific challenges, I did use a lot of my older products which makes me very happy! I'm back to get more done today! Happy weekend scrapping!!

I finished a 2 page layout of the day my DD and BF got their puppy. Thanks everyone for the inspiration and for giving me motivation to get my photos scrapped and into my albums!

I would love to join you all! I am going on vacation for 5 days but also have time off of work so hopefully I'll get quite a bit done that week. I feel inspired by all I've gotten done the past week and want to keep going!!!

I am into dog paper right now. I have found several packs of paper and ephemera and have probably 5 times as much as I need to make a dog album. Me too!! What a coincidence!! I'm working on photos of my DD's and her boyfriend's puppy (which is now 2 years old..). Needless to say, I have a lot of opportunities to use up my dog paper/embellishments!! So fun to do though!!! |

I scrapbooked a double page layout tonight. It was the first time in 6 months that I've scrapbooked in my family albums!! It feels wonderful to be working on them again!!

I love dimension and actually prefer it on my pages but I just had to "fix" some pages that were opposite of my bulky pages and got damaged so now mostly just do flat.

I just finished reading, Chakras: Seven Keys to Awakening. Very informative and interesting. I also finished George and Lizzie. I really liked that book also

Yes photo boxes definitely are very practical storage. After thinking about it, that's what I'm going to stick with that.

Just trying to figure out the best way to store the extra photos that I don't scrapbook. I used to have them in plain photo albums but I filled up
so many and they ended up taking up too much space. Then I switched to photo boxes but not sure I like that either?? What works best for you all?

I have been scrapbooking pretty much all weekend so far. I just started my last page of my 2017 DD!! I'll be very happy to finish that up and move on. It seems I've been scrapping Xmas forever! It'll be nice to work on something else.

Just yesterday I found a sheet of old Webster's Pages patterned paper that was perfect for the cards I was making. AND I USED IT!!! That felt good! Now I need to do it more often. That really is the best feeling ever!!! |

It was not only a very exciting game but also dangerous for my family. After the winning touchdown, my DD jumped out of her chair and put her hand through the ceiling cutting her finger and my DH fell out of his recliner onto the floor. Lol

Does organizing count?? After I get settled into my new scrapbook room I realized my organization was not working well. So I bought some new pieces to organize my paper, mainly scraps. But I did finish 3 pages last night in my DD. Hope to continue with that when I'm done reorganizing.

I really like it too! I think it's very sweet! Absolutely love the typewriter.. But then again I always like and appreciate Doodlebug's products. Use them quite often!

I'm pretty excited about a few of those (Llama Mama, Travel Notes and I am) and bits and pieces of a few more. I love that they've gone to 6x8 paper pads. They are still one of my favorite companies and I really feel like they try to cater to many different styles. They are definitely one of my favorite companies as well. I agree that they cater to many different styles. I really like Travel Notes and pieces of several other collections. |
