While we are talking about board demographics, I have another question to ask.
I've never been married and have no children. Not on purpose- I just never found anyone to marry. I would have loved to have a husband and kids. But that is all water under the bridge now.
I think I live a very different lifestyle than a lot of you. I mentioned this in another thread, but I essentially live the same lifestyle I did when I was in my twenties.
Are there any other peas here who are single and childless?

I do not have children by choice, just never interested in reproducing. I am not single but have a kind of non-traditional relationship with D/H. No, not a swinger or anything, just we have very different and independent lives and are not attached at the hip.
I need a great deal of space to be happy, both physical and emotional and so does he and it has worked out well for over 30 years.

I am married and we are childless by choice. We have no interest in having children.

Me. Same situation, not really on purpose, just never found that person. And now, at 45, I think it would be very difficult to integrate someone into my household that I've created for myself.

I love that single and/or childless Peas are part of our community.
I do think we sometimes speak as if the entire world is married/divorced 40- or 50-somethings w/kids.
I'm glad it's not.
I love that the peas are diverse in age (ish), marital status, parenting status, country of origin, country of residence, race, creed, interests, etc.

Me! I'm in my mid thirties, never married and no kids. I often feel like the odd man out in life and on the board. I enjoy my life as it is and do better by myself than in a relationship. But, I'm open to change if the right person comes along.

Me as well. I enjoy my life single and child free but there are times I wonder if things were different. But my life crossed a child hood friend so who knows.

I'm not single but I am childfree by choice, I've never regretted that decision for a moment.

I am married and childless, but not by choice. Years ago I had someone snarkily ask me what I scrapbook if I don’t have any kids. That was fun.
My 2 older sisters are not married, and both are childless. And not by choice. They are successful, attractive women, but for whatever reason neither one of them have ever found someone to settle down with.

I’m recently single and childless. The older I get, the less appealing the idea of having children sounds. I have great nieces and nephews and like being able to spoil them but if I never have my own, I won’t be upset.

Not single but also not married, childless by choice, late 30s, and my SO is 20+ years my senior. So yea, I don't fit in anywhere

I’m married and childfree by choice. We never had a desire to have kids and that has never changed. We love being childfree.

Single and childless as well!
I've never wanted children and I'm happily single. Recently I've been more open for possible relationship, but if it doesn't happen, I know I will be fine. I do love my life as it is.

I am married and childless, but not by choice. Me too. I love that there are so many different lifestyles represented on this board - reading here broadens my horizon. (I am not a native speaker, that is why I don’t post much.)

No it was someone I know in real life. It’s a cousin in law on DH’s side of the family. I had put together a big family scrapbook per MIL’s request, and the relatives were raving over it at a Christmas party. She first said “ when do you have time to do this? Oh wait, you don’t have kids, that’s why” Then she asked what I scrapbook for if I don’t have kids. She’s a gem, can’t you tell?!

I’m married and child-free, by choice.
I still scrapbook and I just do pictures of my life. Sometimes my dogs are subjects, sometimes the children of friends, or travels but whatever the focus, it always reflects my life.

I told the last one to eat a bag of dicks.
