I'm on the east coast too and airnow is showing the air quality at my zip code to be 37 in the green range.
I'm so sorry for you Peas who are in the west of the country near the forest fires. That must be so scary and difficult. Sending you big hugs.
For us on the east coast our weather problems during this time of year is usually hurricanes. So far this month (knock wood) we've been lucky, but we've still got September to get through.

Second posting as it has dropped to 193. It has just started to sprinkle. Praying that no lightening accompanies it.

We are in between one that is saying 428 and one that is saying 335. But that is much better than it was earlier today when it was in the 5-600 range.

Our AQI is currently 25. Not bad for a large city.
ETA - Just putting this out there but IQAir is an air purifier company. I don’t know where they get their data but it only benefits them to inflate their numbers. They have me at 52. The AQI and Environment Canada says 25.

Be sure to also check where the locations of the sensors are. Our AQI only has one sensor and it’s located much further away.

Around the 119 mark.. although there is a senor not to far away that is over 160....
The entire town is hazy/smokey.. so all in all unhealthy. We have six major fires within our state.

Currently... 621. It's awful outside right now; the smoke is so thick. The smoke is coming towards us from fires which are about 20 miles away.

PurpleAir - 229 AirNow -144
I didn't check it yesterday when we had the Martian skies but I am feeling the effects more today. My eyes are super itchy and my asthma is also kicking in. The smoke triggers my migraines and I've been fighting one off for weeks.

124 in my area, about 45 minutes north of Seattle. It is hazy here, and about to get worse tomorrow as the wind shifts and we get smoke from Oregon and California.

Interesting. Putting in my addy, it comes up as not available which is NO surprise!! FL would love to keep every fact here on the down-low!!! Lovely..............
I can tell you what it is by merely stepping outside. DH and I both have COPD. I have asthma and he has emphysema. I can barely breathe (even inside, in the a/c) on bad days here. This is not what I thought it would be. Hurts more than living in NY through the Spring asthma and allergy days!!!

I’m a mile from DT Seattle. It’s 186 currently. Supposed to go up to the mid 200’s or so later today through Monday.
It’s really gross. My IG stories has a photo of DT from my place today, compared to my normal view. LMNatHart if you’re interested.
For those of you dealing with both worse air quality and also the threat of fires, I’m sending lots of warm, caring thoughts your way.
I want to add that during 3 of the 4 past summers we’ve had to deal with this in Seattle. Prior to that, it never, EVER got this bad. If this doesn’t get people to seriously worry about global warming, I don't know what will.

We are at Moderate (62) today, but we are being told to keep our windows closed overnight because it will be much worse tomorrow with the wind changing. We will get much more smoke from the fires west of us. I dread it. I truly dread it. I was so hopeful that we had made it through once we got to August with no real issues with fire/smoke. Now our last real summer week will be spent indoors, closed up, before winter gets here. I shouldn't complain, with so many losing their homes and lively hoods from lost crops, I really should be more grateful that all I'm getting is the crappy air for a week or two. It's just a bummer. This whole year just really bites.

Using your links Purple Air currently shows 578, AirNow 423. I am in Eugene OR in city limits with no concerns of evacuation. I have friends to the east (where the fire is-outside of Springfield our connecting city)that have lost their homes, businesses, have been evacuated or are prepared to be. The sky isn't as orange as yesterday and not sprinkling ash. It's gloomy/dark like a cloudy day and 63 degrees. Without the smoke it would be a beautiful blue sky and in the 80's. I got up in the night to use bathroom and started choking because of smoke that seeped thru the vent and collected. I can't imagine what the people who are fighting and working out in this are going thru....so thankful for them.

the air quality here in AZ (south of Phoenix) is only moderate, but the last few days it's been really hazy because of the wildfire smoke, and the sun is *red* when it comes up and sets. I can't even IMAGINE how bad it must be for you guys in California.

80s/moderate in north/inland San Diego county. It’s just bad enough that it irritates my throat if I open the windows for some fresh air in the early AM. The sky has been varying shades of pastel orange sherbet this week.
Today is the first day the weather app on my phone says “sunny”. It’s been “smoke” all week. Crazy.
