374 in Eugene , Oregon right now. It bounces around but I would like to see sky that is not grayish/orange.

I’m in the southern BC right now near the WA border this weekend and the air quality is bad and about to be worse tomorrow as smoke from the wildfires in the US moves in. I’m so sad for those who are displaced, for the firefighters and for all of the loss. 😔

Olympia - 196. Not great but not nearly as bad as many others are dealing with right now. The burning smell is very strong and has given me a slight headache most of the day.

Last I checked, it was 312 or thereabouts. In the "hazardous" category, according to the state Dept of Ecology.

East coast/New England - iqair shows my area as 5. PurpleAir shows our area as 13. And finally Airnow shows it as 20.

We're at 16 (suburban Portland, OR), which is kind of surprising, honestly. Given how bad the fires are in California, I would not be surprised to see our air quality affected. I know most of my colleagues in Utah are seeing poor AQI due to the CA fires. How things change. We’re at 424 right now. 😭

Using your links Purple Air currently shows 578, AirNow 423. I am in Eugene OR in city limits with no concerns of evacuation. I have friends to the east (where the fire is-outside of Springfield our connecting city)that have lost their homes, businesses, have been evacuated or are prepared to be. The sky isn't as orange as yesterday and not sprinkling ash. It's gloomy/dark like a cloudy day and 63 degrees. Without the smoke it would be a beautiful blue sky and in the 80's. I got up in the night to use bathroom and started choking because of smoke that seeped thru the vent and collected. I can't imagine what the people who are fighting and working out in this are going thru....so thankful for them. My dd attends school there. Poor thing was here in CA when we had levels in the 400s, got a few days of fresh air and now this in the 500s. She said Eugene is in desperate need of fire relief volunteers so she’s going to help out tomorrow. Sure hope it’s an indoor job.

On purple air the closest dot to us says 230. Ugh. I’ve had a migraine every day this week and I think it’s from the air.
Luckily we can still go about our daily life but we have reduced walking / exercising outside.
Apparently the flow of air brings smoke up from oregan and Washington. We are in Vancouver BC and don’t have a major forest fire issue this year.

Currently in Salem, OR it's 523. Our poor state. Wildfires are the worst.

We are in the low 200's. Yuck!
My dad is visiting his sister in Redmond, OR and they are at 480. I can't even imagine. How horrible.

We decamped to Cannon Beach. It’s still 155 here, but a big improvement from home.

Today purple air has us at 258, our local air quality site has us at 167. Either way, it’s hazardous for all groups and it’s gross outside today just like they forecast. Prayers for some rain (but not enough to cause mudslides) to help put out the fires and clear the air for everyone affected.

I just tried to post a photo of my normal view of DT Seattle vs today's view but we're too full of photos on the site and I'm too lazy to find somewhere to host the pics. So, imagine in your head if you can, clear skies and DT a mile away VS yellowed-gray skies and no sign of DT at all Climate deniers are really pissing me off these days. And then there are the brave firefighters putting their lives on the line to save homes, businesses, and communities. It's heartbreaking.

Check out www.windy.comTheir map has lots of great options to see things like wind pattern, air quality and fires that are impacting your area. It’s also great because it can give you an idea as to what to expect later. To use, enter your location, click on air quality (car icon on the right side of screen on my iPad), and then pm2.5 which will show air quality. At the bottom right, click on more layers and you can opt to see active fires, air quality station numbers, etc. You can also use the slider on the bottom left to check out the wind pattern forecast.

So we are now at 407 and they are saying it’ll be worse tomorrow. I can't recall, where in the state are you? In Seattle it's showing about 230 (which is "very unhealthy"). I cannot imagine what your house smells like at 407. My doors and windows have been closed for a couple of days now, but it's clearly seeping in my condo. I slept with a N95 on last night to try and mitigate the sore throat and headache.

I’m so glad we saved our N95 masks (with the vent). We will have to use them when we go to work Monday. Our doors and windows are shut and thankfully it’s not hot in the house so we don’t need the ac.

Today we have clean, clear air, at 9. I almost cried yesterday when it started getting better. I know the smoke isn’t over but a little break from it is glorious.

Finally glorious here as well - around 25 in the green! Went for a morning run in the foggy hills with a big grin on my face and so grateful for the clean, cool air.

Our air (breathing wise) has been normal for the time of year, but yesterday and this morning, our skies were tan/orangy from the smoke and this was the northeast coast.

195 in Seattle right now which is lower than it's been (230'-240's) the past 3-4 days. Unfortunately it's expected to go right back up later today and tomorrow is suppoosed to be extra bad. Who else is really suffering with this health-wise? Headache? Sore throat? Coughing that takes a long time to subside? Elevated BP?
It's very clear to me that my condo isn't anywhere close to being air-tight.
