Yep. Husband has one on his bicep, it's a cystic fibrosis emblem for our god daughter. I have three, a cycstic fibrosis emblem on my back, two dolphins (for my sons) on my lower belly, and a wand on my right inner forearm, cos I'm a Potterhead. Younger Son has three big monochrome ones on his right arm. They're from his favourite books...six of crows, game of thrones and deathly hallows. He's getting a coloured Alice in Wonderland one next on his right arm. They're amazing.

I have none and DH has none. He hates them and I am just meh about them. I do admire the art work on ones that are well done though.
Older DS has one and it is poorly done. He did not listen to us about researching artists and did it on a whim when he turned 18. Younger DS has no interest in them. Our DIL has 3 and wants more. They are all adults and can do what they want.

I have 1 on the top of my foot that I got 2 years ago. It is a sea turtle with the word sisters on it, since my sisters and I all got it. Neither my DDs, nor my DH has any yet. We got it on the foot because it is easy to cover up, and living in MI, it is covered up most of the year due to the weather.
I don't recommend getting a group tattoo. There were 4 of us and it was a big hassle trying to agree on something. Plus tattoos are such an individual choice. In our case, we all got the same choice, but the colors were individual. I wish we hadn't gotten sisters on it. The artist did a nice job, but it just reminds me of something you would see airbrushed on a t-shirt at the state fair back in the 90s/early 2000s.

I got the same tattoo (a hummingbird on my shoulder) in support of my mom, who got one on her ankle when she turned 75.
I wish I hadn't. Or I wish it were smaller.
I'm not sure if it's the specific tat that makes me unenthused, or I'm just not a tat person.
ETA neither of my kids has one yet. Sammy wants the logo off the Cholula hot sauce bottle. Or some hot sauce label.

I do not have any tattoos (yet). I have getting a very small black pilcrow on my inner wrist on my to-do list for 2023 as well as getting a matching tattoo with my partner after we get married. My partner has 11? tattoos although he hasn't gotten a new one in several years. He was really going THROUGH it with some of these & they're rather dark (thematically) for my personal taste. He wouldn't get some of them again but he appreciates what they stand for and so do I. It's like he's a walking scrapbook. My family is famously anti-tattoo so there were some preliminary discussions on both sides before he met them. My father, especially, is still slightly put off/horrified but has held his tongue (mostly) about it -- but he also doesn't know about or seen the biggest ones yet, either! Besides the matching tat with me, the only other tat he wants to get is a super-nerdy sleeve about his favorite hobby with the kids & me symbolically woven into the piece. My kids are currently too young for any tattoos but considering their father, their stepfather, and their mother will all have them, I wouldn't be surprised or bothered if they did unless the tattoos they chose were racist/homophobic/sexist or, like, a machine gun on their forearm.
