When I decided to get in shape a few years ago I did a Jazzercise class at work. I was bouncing along, using resistance bands Etc and the next day I couldn’t walk, lift a mug or do anything. The whole company were very sympathetic to me but you do have to go slowly. Now a Jazzercise class would be easier for me. Lol. Everything hurt!

Weigh in day - down about 1.8 lbs. I need to drink more water and start exercising. Does everyone pay any attention to those ‘10ths” of a pound or do you just round down and say you lost 1 lb. My scale’s app of course tracks it, but I feel like it’s not a full lb so it doesn’t really count and I’m just trying to make myself feel better. Hell yes! I track by tenths. Worked out 3 times, walked twice, tracked everything I ate, stayed in points/calorie range every day including the weekend. Only down .9. I was down almost 2. Gained back almost a pound yesterday. So frustrating. Do you weigh yourself every day? that is one thing NOOM taught me, to weigh every day. Bc I'd fluxuate so much throughout the week. If i just weighed 1x a week I wouldnt be aware of those fluxuations. I do weigh myself daily. Even if I didn't, if I was down less than a pound I would still be super disappointed.

I picked these up at Costco this weekend. I usually do a protein shake, but lately they've been giving me the ICKs. These were a pretty good solution. I had it with a small apple for breakfast. It's 11:30 and I'm not ready to chew off my arm quite yet. LOL www.costcontessa.com/costco/3-carb-costco-keto-breakfast-sandwich-from-reds/ETA: I had been fasting in the morning, just having black coffee until lunch. However -- one of my challenges is cortisol regulation and blood sugar regulation. I had been reading that by fasting and just slamming a bunch of caffeine, I was doing myself a disservice. I'm going to try a couple months of heavy protein/fiber breakfasts BEFORE I start with the coffee and see if that changes anything.

I just tried to weigh myself, haven't done so in many months, and the scale batteries are dead LOL. So I ordered more batteries. (I am mentally checking that off my list as something done.). I'd like to lose 10 lbs from wherever I'm at right now, based on how I look in photos.
Toward that end, I started daily walking again a few days ago. I'm still in the stage of forcing myself to walk; it hasn't become a habit again yet. I'm also doing intermittent fasting every other day, eating between 12-7. So I will see how this goes.

I am starting to make walking a habit. I did very well yesterday by walking the dog 3x. That was good for both of us. Then I have a routine in my house where I walk and get maybe 10,000 steps. That is more the habit. I am working hard at it but it is going slowly. I want to crave exercise like I used to and if I go to the gym I bribe myself with a 10-20 min warmup on the treadmill. I seriously love that thing!

Merge day 9 YWA just came out - aren't we supposed to be on day 10? Maybe I am not behind. Yesterday I did 8 - Melt which was basically a big ol' nap and I was there for it! LMAO

Hi ok there is a dumb@$$ among us. I hurt my shin walking yesterday and now I am paying for it. I got 13,000 steps in, two good walks with the dog and the gym but today I hurt like crazy. Whatever I did, don’t do that. It hurts.

I decided to start 75 Hard to keep my focus on the habits I want to reinforce. Today is day 6, I've stuck to everything, and it's feeling good. Obviously it's not a forever program but feels like a good structure to get me on track.

Hello! I’m a longtime (mostly) lurking pea from 2001. I need some accountability as I work towards my goal of losing 40 lbs and here seems like as good a choice as any! Right now I’m just logging what I eat into MFP, though I’m considering joining Noom or WW. My weigh-in this morning was 173.6.
It’s nice to read what everyone has shared here so far!

I still have shin splints in my right shin. I am going to go to the gym but am driving there and not doing treadmill unless I do it very slowly. Driving today was quite painful. (I am just going to do arms Etc at the gym today). I put on 0.8 of a pound so that was good. I was at my very lowest yesterday which is not cool. Today is a great day, though!

I've sucked at tracking. I did it for a day or two and the fell off the wagon. I NEED to get back on as it keeps Mr from snacking so much.
