agreed. I hate it.
I much prefer to stay on standard time but I'll take either one at this point just to be done with the stupidity.

I absolutely LOVE daylight savings. I am feeling quite melancholy about the end of summer two weeks ago, and the end of daylight savings in another two weeks.

I haven't really being hearing much about the time change this year. I wonder how many people will forget tomorrow?
I hope this is the last time we change clocks too. I prefer standard time, but I'll take either if we can just stop changing the time.

I hate it too. There are always peas who chime in that they don't hate it. It isn't a big deal. Etc. For a lot of people it really does effect us. Can't that be enough reason to not do it? Is there anyone who benefits from the time change? I think it is dumb. There is no real reason to do it. I don't care what time we pick. Either way half the population is going to be mad. Just pick a time and stick with it.

Every year I wonder why we can't just split the difference in half and only set our clocks forward 30 minutes and then NEVER DO IT AGAIN. This is a problem that's so easy to solve. Just let us be done already.

It's literally ONE HOUR. OMG the clock just turned from 0159 to 0300 and I'm out of here 😁😁😁😁

Every year I wonder why we can't just split the difference in half and only set our clocks forward 30 minutes and then NEVER DO IT AGAIN. This is a problem that's so easy to solve. Just let us be done already. That would be the perfect solution but I believe they have chosen to stay on DST. I hate DST and much prefer standard time. I hate the hour change. Some of us have such a strong "body clock" that it really messes me up. I have been getting up at 4:30 a.m. in standard time, and now it will be 5:30 a.m. Ugh! A good bit of my day is gone, my quiet time is gone because all of the family is up and calling by then. I have not used an alarm in at least 25 years, and I don't want to have to set one to get up at 4:30 a.m. If we stay on DST, maybe my body will get used to it but I can't get used to the changing 2x a year. Ugh!

I also think it's silly. But...I'm one of *those* people who doesn't really care and isn't affected by it. I just tell my brain what time it is and move on from there. Yes, I might be tired tonight earlier clock-wise, but I just don't go near my bed until the clock says it's bedtime. I know I'm lucky that way. I rarely have jet lag either, at least not more than maybe one night.

Love it!
If we stayed on daylight time year round, it would be dark until 9am in winter. If we stayed on standard tine, it would be light at 5am in summer. Id rather have that daylight in the evening when we can enjoy it.
I dont understand the hate for a time change that only really feels odd for the first day or 2, but has so many benefits

I'm one that doesn't have a hard time adjusting. DH struggles for a day or two. The annoying part is changing the analog clocks.
But I do not like the spring forward/fall back time change. We as humans did not do this for hundreds of years. This is a modern development, one that can be trashed. I just don't see the need anymore.

I am one of those peas with a VERY strong internal clock (most of the time I don't need an alarm), so it is more than just a couple of days for me to adjust. Keeping on the same time also would make it so much easier when I are either talking to my family or traveling one state over to visit them. I always forget about the time change and call at a bad time. LOL. But...in the grand scheme of things, just petty "problems" for me.

I have a great internal clock. The only time I ever have to set an alarm is for something like waking up at 3:00 to drive someone to the airport for an early flight. Otherwise I just wake up, same time every day. So yes, I did wake up a bit later clock-wise this morning (my body woke me up at 5:00 and the clock said it was 6:00). But I don't have to be anywhere at that hour, lol. And tonight I'll wait until the clock says 8:30 or so before I get in bed to read. I'll fall right to sleep after a chapter or two and tomorrow I'll wake up at 5:00-ish by the clock. Done.

As I’ve gotten older, I have a tough time springing ahead. I wish the would pick something and leave the clocks alone.

I'm stoked, I get to work one less hour tonight 😁😁😁 Spring forward is awesome, but I hated the Fall back when I worked night shift. I think I have worked nights for so long that the time change just doesn’t bother me. My body can sleep anytime.

Since we changed in November, I’ve been waking up at 4:45. That’s too damn early! Now, I will wake up at 5:45. I’m good with that.

I read an article that said light in the morning is better for the human body than light in the evening. The light in the morning is More in tune with the human clock. The article was in favor of standard time.
I am up, but I still want to be in bed. I set my alarm to force myself awake, even though I don’t need to be. It will take my body a few days to feel “normal” again. And I won’t take a nap so that I am hopefully sleepy enough at the right time to fall asleep tonight.
I wish the time change was on Friday night/Saturday morning instead. It would give me time to get more adjusted before I need to go to work on Monday. Sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours is torture after we spring forward!

I would much rather have the hour of daylight in the morning, when I can enjoy it. I got to bed at 9 pm. I don't really care for an almost extra hour of daylight that happens in Michigan after I go to bed. So really, it's just a matter of personal preference dependent on your body clock. I'm up at 5 to enjoy the daylight.

Some of us just have body clocks that don't deal well with the change. Having lived abroad many years, I have lots of experience traveling between time zones. Doesn't matter how often or the amount of time difference, it's always going to be a week for my body to adjust. So count me as one of those who just wants them to pick a time and keep it there year round!

I love daylight savings time! The longer hours of daylight (in the evening) improve my mood significantly and I am much more productive. I hate standard time, but with changing the time twice a year, we all get a bit of what we like. I don't have to get up super early, so it's light out when I get up. But I can understand those that have to be at work very early in the morning would enjoy the early daylight.
I never knew anyone didn't like DST until I found 2 peas! Haha! Everyone I know in real life loves it.

We prefer standard time especially in the winter when it’s dark in the morning.

I dont understand the hate for a time change that only really feels odd for the first day or 2, but has so many benefits I’m one of those people who is messed up for at least a week after either time change forward or back. Every.Single.Time. I hate it. My kid is the same way, she’s a night owl like me. I’ve been trying to get her to go to bed earlier for the last couple weeks to help adjust beforehand and nothing works. She could stay up until midnight or later every night but then won’t want to get up until 10-12 the next day. Doesn’t matter if it’s light or dark out, she’s not waking up. Tomorrow morning is going to seriously SUCK big time when I have to try to roll her out of bed at what feels like 5:00 am. I don’t do well with time zone changes when traveling either, but usually I don’t ever plan to have anywhere I need to be so early in the morning when I’m on vacation so it isn’t as much of an issue then.

So count me as one of those who just wants them to pick a time and keep it there year round! That is how I feel about changing our clocks for some arbitrary reason. Why would we want to put a whole population on jet lag? Here in northern Alberta it was just starting to be light at 7:00AM, but now we are plunged back into darkness again. GRRR...
