That was my thinking too, Lumo.

I'm not a fan darker colors for dishes in general, so I'm bummed both new colors are dark. I'm relatively new to the Fiestaware boat, so I'm happy there are plenty of other bright colors for me to acquire still!

I am not a fan a fiestaware, but I love both of those colors. The slate makes me want to paint the walls...I have a lot of that sage color already around my space and it would be a pretty accent color a wall or two.

That sage will go great with a set of patterned lunch/salad plates I have. Looking forward to buying some for the collection

I love the bright happiness of my assorted colors.
This looks like camo to me.
Not sure I like either. I think I want to see it in person with other colors.
I think this is the first time I did not feel the need to have it right away. Reserving final judgment for later.

I'm happy with the three colours I have ... I don't plan to buy anything in any other colours ... I do sometimes wish I had gone the "every colour available" route because it would be a lot of fun

I don't own any Fiestaware but have been looking at it since I need new dishes. I like the slate, it would pair nicely with a red or a yellow as an accent color.

I love the slate and can't wait to add that one to my collection. I won't be buying the sage. Not a fan of it.

While I think they are very pretty, I don't think I'll be buying them.
Over the past month I have finally updated my Fiesta from the pastel pieces we got when we married 16.5 years ago to a bright rainbow - scarlet, tangerine, lemongrass, shamrock, turquoise and peacock. I really don't see either fitting in with that, although it explains why peacock was replaced by lapis. Lapis and sage will be amazingly beautiful together, but sage wouldn't go as well with peacock.
If I was starting fresh and wanted an elegant looking table, slate, sage, lapis and ivory would be stunning. A bright rainbow fits better with my family, so I'll stick with what I've got.

I don't like the sage at all. The slate is ok, but I won't be getting any of it. Really, I haven't like a lot of the more recent colours - the two this year, lapis, flamingo. I do like poppy, but that's the only recent one I do like.

I like the new colors, but probably won't get either, as I have (and love) the bright Fiesta colors.

I like the Slate, but won't rush out to buy anything. I don't have any Peacock and might pick up a couple of sets before it disappears.

They are gorgeous, but won't fit into my current colors. However, the lapis does

Love, love, love! I am so happy, finally a new green! I think the sage will be beautiful with the bright colors - think leaves with multicolor flowers. I can picture it with turquoise and cobalt for summer. It will also be pretty with paprika and marigold for fall place settings. I can't wait to get my hands on it!
I really like the slate, too. Fiesta does such a great job of picking colors that will blend together. This one will probably work with blues, as well as older gray, for a more elegant placesetting.

I am new to Fiesta and loaded up on turquoise. Now, I need to broaden my color horizon.

I love the slate. If I was looking to add a color to my turquoise/black/plum/lemongrass collection slate would be it. However I think I'll stick with just the colors I have.
I don't like the sage at all.

Great colors for people not currently buying Fiestaware! When combined they might attract a whole new market. I like them. if I wasn't already so dish-endowed I'd buy slate. It would be a great base for several of the brights as accents.

I want to see them in person. They look very dark (I like the camo reference above) in the picture in the link. I also have a rainbow of colors. But, could see incorporating something darker for fall and winter.

I didn't like them at first glance, but you make them sound pretty. I can see them in more traditional settings but not my whimsical kitchen. I have all brights/pastels, but might get a serving piece or two somewhere down the line if I find a good sale.

I'm disappointed.
