I apologize, I thought they were Mormon, I have no idea why, but I have always thought that (I have never seen their show though). The Mormon families I know though the women all stay home and raise the passel of children. I don't know any that work outside of home or have anything other than a high school education. Obviously if I was thinking I would realize that obviously BYU is not an all male school. I don't know very many Mormon families and most of them are related, so they must be the exception as the women act very subservient to the men, much like the Duggars. I do apologize for my misunderstanding. I do maintain what ever religion the Duggars are they are raised the subservient to the men and Anna was pretty much brainwashed since birth, so it is hard not to have some sympathy for her. I wish she could be deprogrammed and get her kids out of harm's way. That's OK. While it's true that Mormon women are often stay at home moms, they are also working and active in community affairs, and are educated at universities all over the country, not just BYU. While they have differing roles, women are considered equal to the men, and are expected to be partners, not subservient. Mormon men should also not treat their wife as an unequal or in a lesser role. I know virtually nothing about the Duggar's religion, but it is far and away different from Mormonism. Those of us who have a home where our husband's are the "head of the household" are not unequal or have a lesser role. We have differing roles, but one is not lesser then the other by any means. Husband are to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Do you realized to what extent Christ loves His Church. His church is His bride. He gave His life for His church. Christ humbled himself to the level of a servant to His church. That's the love my husband has for me. He puts my wants and desires before his own. The simple fact is when decisions have to be reached and the husband and wife can't reach a decision someone has to step back. More often then not hubby says "OK let's try it your way". But on the rare occasion he takes a stand I know he has been in prayer over it. I Know he is accountable to God for it. I know he would never intentionally do something to hurt me. I trust him.

I'm kind of outraged by the fact that he is STILL leaning toward being a pedophile. I hope/wish they could investigate anyone he hooked up with on that website and verify ages. Because after the molestation of his sisters, and the lack of appropriate action at that time, the words " I like someone I can teach" from his Ashley Madison profile seem very odd. I flippantly read that article yesterday with a 'whatever more Duggars crap' attitude until I got to that line. That phrase and it's possible hidden meaning just made me ill. its hard to let that go knowing his past tendencies. He ought to be in jail right next to Fogel. It wouldn't surprise me in the least that the next bit of news we read is that he is being investigated for downloading child porn. I don't think its any coincidence that his original statement was re-written. There is plenty of research done with the conclusion that once a paedophile always a paedophile and no amount of therapy works on most of them because they don't believe, in their warped minds, that they are doing anything wrong. It would be no different if one is 14 or much older. a large part of people in the world think the same about things they do...

A large part of the world doesn't molest their sisters, it seems to me that is something that shouldn't have to be taught. A person should know better than to touch a siblings privates, for that matter I'd say most of the world doesn't want to have anything to do with a siblings genitalia, especially a 5 year olds. I don't know if it was how he was raised or if there is just something broke in his mind but he does have a problem.

I hope she takes him up on his offer. She won't, but it's nice to see there is a relative with some common sense who isn't afraid to voice his opinion on the situation. The FB post Daniel went off on was one by Jessa that showed scripture from the bible stating that he who confesses sin will be forgiven in the eyes of the Lord (or something to that effect). Daniel posted several times on that thread and said that Anna's parents are "encouraging her to stay and work it out with God's help" and he was told by Anna herself that she is "Staying where she is and not leaving no matter what." I hope to their God that the little girls don't end up being molested or worse. I agree the kids should be removed. Even the youngest Duggar kids should be removed from Michelle and Jim Bob's care. They are the most to blame here.

More bad news for JoshI don't know how credible her claims are, but nothing would surprise me now. I wonder how he could possibly think that no one would recognize him.
