I am actually starting to panic. Nothing as of yet wants me to buy a kit. I wonder how much longer until other companies share their kits? I want to know what I am using my the end of Sept for sure. That's my thought too. :X

I don't mind Jasmine's but the other two look horrible to me. I agree with others above who want a "no kids" kind of kit, there are no young children in our family - only young adults/older adults.. so let's have something that doesn't look like a kindergarten classroom, please-and-thank-you. True. I'd love to see a grown up kit that suits cocktail parties, work functions, or dressier holiday events but I'm not getting my hopes up. Seems like we're stuck in Whoville. Cute, but doesn't reflect my lifestyle.

I'm starting to get a little desperate here... Again with the soft colours (if one more mini-kit features baby pink...) and children-centered theme? They better be saving KP for last or I'm going to have to cough up some heavy international shipping costs (15 dollars flat rate, OUCH) to order whatever Christmas season pocket cards she'll come up with in her own shop.

Today is another no. Beyond the wooden trees, I don't see much that makes it stand out from a regular SC DK kit... It reminds me of their Dec kit offerings. Generic enough to appeal to the masses, with a few token Christmas or winter things thrown in to appease the northern hemisphere holiday scrappers.

I actually like this kit, except for the pink and totally agree ...very SC dk kit looking...which makes me wonder whether part of the kits are still designed in-house and the named designers only do a few of the cards. On fence on this one ....I think so far 0 for 3.

This is another miss for me too. I only like the wood veneer trees. I am starting to get worried too. Hoping the next kits featured are more traditional and feature no pink, yellow and while I have a grandson I still would like more adult looking items.

I followed Holly and Decor8 for years so it's neat to see her pop up here, but I'm not sure yet. I think part of the main selling feature for me will be numbers and embellishments and so far we haven't seen much of those for any of the kits (a few but not much) so I am going to hold out judgement until I see the whole kit. And we are only half way through! 2 more minis and the main to come!

I quite like the overall look of this one again, because it's not overly 'wintery' but I don't need any DD supplies this year. No doubt when I'm look for something next year, it'll all be snowflakes and traditional colours

This kit is a total miss for me. Looks like the cheap craft items found in the Target dollar spot area. I like Pam's day 2 kit but didn't love it. Hoping day 4,5,6 are more my speed.

I was bummed last year that I bought my dd kits....when I saw others.
I ended up buying some of Pinkfresh's Christmas wishes line and I wanted gossamer blues kit but didnt since I had purchased Ali's. I think this year I'm going to wait and see what's on the market before I choose.

Scrapbook Circle also did a Christmas themed kit in November I think - that's where I picked up Pinkfresh Studio Christmas Wishes plus some Elle's Studio. Hmm, I wonder if Hip Kit do one?

Hip Kit did a "December Documented" kit last year - available in November. Unfortunately, that makes it a bit late for internationals, with the shipping delays.

nicolep i think they are painted wood Another pass on this kit for me. Sigh. Think of all the money you're saving, mom ! Put it towards the Black Friday sale at SC. Even though I mostly get duplicates now, I usually spend most of my scrappy money at Elle's Studio...her grab bags are amazing!! Second is usually a splurge (last year was the MISTI, this year is probably going to be the cutterpillar crop) and third is typically Joann's...but they haven't gotten anything new in MONTHS...I'm wondering if companies are starting to not want to sell to them...makes me sad. Plenty of places to shop besides SC...and if you shopped their most recent sales, chances are good you'll end up with your 99th Fairground PL kit!!!! Because of my crazy shopping with the last round of mystery kits, I don't think I'll be able to justify the next one...

It comes with the album from SS and there are a lot of things still usable even though it's from last year. I picked it up and LOVE it. It does have the calendar pages and such, but they are definitely not needed and really only handy for people who do crossover from planning (mine were just used as dividers, I didn't do anything to them, but they were a fun addition since I bought mine on sale to work on 2015's DD). If you still like it, it might be worth considering. For $10 more than Ali's kit was full price, it's a great assortment of product. I also mixed Ashley G's mini kit as I had to have the roller stamp in it and fell in love with the gold foiled number cards.

Kelly's club wasn't around last year when she did her kit for Ali...I'm wondering if she declined to participate this year in favor of offering her own one off kit. It wouldn't be a total shock as she does offer (although mini) kits from other designers. It would make total sense for her to make her own larger DD style kit. She could even partner with Pinkfresh like Hip Kit does for some dimensional pieces that she doesn't feel equipped to produce for her own kits because of the scale of the project (I would think DD would be a reasonable exception since it's only ONE kit).

Yeah, I am not expecting Kelly to be a part of Ali's kit (though I could be wrong!). Since Kelly has opened her own shop, I haven't seen her collaborating with the SC empire where she used to be a regular.

Yep, that's what I've been fearing from the start. Kelly's made sure her Christmas stamps were up for pre-ordering since July and started shipping them before Ali's DD updates. If she were part of the DD mini kit designers, I would think she'd have been asked to not post direct competition products during Ali's DD week of announcements but she just uploaded her December planner video to promote her Hero Arts Christmas/Winter stamps yesterday. This does not bode well. I doubt Kelly would offer a bigger than mini kit for December/Christmas in her own shop as her kits have been rather small. But it sure looks like she's going solo this year. Which other designers are likely to take her spot for the fun, clean aesthetic, 100% adult kit now for DD though?

Her kits are usually great at being able to work for all walks of life. It was SO HARD not to buy last year's main DD kit when it was on sale...I still wish I had but I don't need anymore Christmas stuff and I wouldn't have a use for it...I don't even know if/when my only DD attempt last year will be finished. I have cards and photos in most of it, but I still want to embellish and there isn't any journaling on the pages that have been set up but not completed (journaling is really hard for me in retrospect...I love posting pictures on FB with a story, but looking at a picture and coming up with something to say doesn't come easily for me and I didn't do a very good job filling in my memory planner for December since we were always so busy).

Holly Becker's kit is the first sneak I didn't fall all over. Not my style at all, although that reindeer and the wood veneer trees are super cute. But it seems to be some other people's favorite kit so far, so it's great that there are something for everybody. I have to admit it's a relief to realize that I won't have to pick up every mini kit this year.

If you decide to subscribe for a month or two (I've been a subscriber since the launch in 2013), it will ship free with your kit when you use your free ship code during bundling. I pay $5.95 a month in shipping for my Life Pages kit and while my order no longer ships priority when I don't buy add-ons, when she does big sales and I buy 10+ past kits and/or add-ons a few times a year and it has to come in a large priority box, not having to pay a cent more than the $5.95 is a lovely perk.

I wonder how these kits would work with Ali's. Isn't the intention to be able to mix the mini kits with the main kit? I can't imagine how some of these would work with a traditional kit...which I'm hoping Ali's is.

Okay, third kit up -
The only part I even sort of want would be the pink paper with the cranes. That's it. And I don't want it for Christmas purposes.
So, totally pass-able for me.
But not hideous.

I'm actually liking the Pam G day 2 kit more as I look at it. It does feel very Seussian which is bringing some nice nostalgia for me.
