back to creating again after a few days away from the scrapping table.
Another layout for the Road Trip album...
2-page - using the Paper Studio patterned paper I bought this wknd (it doesn't break the freeze if I use right away right?), cardstock, State of Mine stickers and Creative Imaginations stickers
And another - a 1-page this time with cardstock, a Memories in Uniform laser cut, and sticko stickers

When I realize how tiny of a dent one layout puts into my stash it helps me realize that being frozen and using my stash is a very good idea. Isn't that the truth?

isn't finishing up a container of something really satisfying! I love it when I get to the end of my ATG gun tape!! (well, not if I'm in the middle of a project, but you know what I mean; it's a good feeling to have used it up.)

Thanks Elsabelle - I feel like this album project is dragging on though - possibly because I did half of it last year during our LOAD challenge here and now I'm trying to finish it up and ... DawnMcD and crimsoncat05 - I love using stuff up ...just wish it felt like I was making a dent in the stash...

I just finished a two page layout using EP Happy Camper. It worked well for a hiking theme.
On to the next layout!

another Road Trip album...I'm getting closer to done...maybe tomorrow? one-page layout - I'm not sure who made the paper I used -it was doublesided grey with mini dots on one side and abstract circles in white/grey/black on the other? I used both sides as well as cardstock

I'm finally using some of my Pink Paislee C'est La Vie and I'm loving how my layout is coming along. I used a stuck sketch that I saw in YouTube.

Tonight I used my Luminarte water colors I haven't used in ages and I remember how much I loved them. They are truly awesome. I made four cards, played with my new Silhouette faux leather paper, and planned out another 2 cards. I need to buy some adhesives soon. I'm just about out of glue dots, pop dots, and my beloved Martha gel glue. I also am in desperate need of a new Versamark ink pad. But those are all boring things to spend money on!

I bought a new set of pearlized watercolor paints (a cheap set from Hobby Lobby) a while ago and forgot I had it; I unearthed it a week or so ago. I think I'm going to use it to watercolor some stamped images for cards... maybe tonight after work! (hopefully...)

starting off the day with a one-page layout for the Road Trip album
Paper Studio Cape Cod paper, cardstock, Echo Park Scoot sticker (2013), and red enamel dots
edited
also a two-page layout using old paper with a rock/pebble design (I have NO idea who made it but it's been curing for about a decade at least), cardstock, and K&Co stickers

two more layouts - this Road Trip album is almost done - 3 or 4 more layouts, I think, should do it.
2-page layout - cardstock, scraps of patterned papers, AC letter stickers
1-page layout - cardstock, Paperhouse US Navy Stickers, and Uniform Designs Navy stickers (those are a throwback c. 2002) edited
1-page layout - Vintage Nation patterned paper stack, cardstock
2-page layout - pretty patterned paper with airplanes that I have no idea who made; Jolees airplane; Uniform Designs Navy stickers; cardstock
And that finishes the Road Trip album! Woohoo!!!

This thread is just a hive of activity! Glad so many are using up product and finishing projects and having fun! The only crafting I will be doing this weekend is cookie baking with the grandkids on Sunday. But I'll have a bunch of new photos to scrap next week, and my stash is not going anywhere!

Ok who remembers this AC patterened paper? It used to come in a bunch of different colours (I remember a lavender-ish purple and a light blue) and has the solid colour on the reverse. I found it when I was looking for some pink to mat photos on my latest layout and decided to use the print side instead. This has to be the oldest thing in my stash.

grammadee, Oh, the best type of crafting! Love getting involved with the kids. I can't wait to see those layouts! linda, I like the new avatar! karen, I remember that paper in the blueish hue. I started my swap double page layout. I had purchased pp and cs for this project last October. I have to send in 12 double pages. You know, it's due Jan 31st so time to start making it. ha. I had my design all set. Started working on it and redesigned the whole thing. So in addition to the pp and cs bases I bought, I've also used from my stash: 12 blush colored cs (from 2002-2004) 4 light blue cs 3 medium teal blue cs 3 pinkish cs 24 wood veneer hearts 12 mini clothespins 12 burlap triangle banners 12 envelopes 12 medium doilies 12 heart shape doilies 12 buttons twine a circle paper punch some washi spray ink 2 different brown inks 5 different stamp sets and my sewing machine I should have them all glued and stitched by this Wednesday!

I confess I threw out a mostly full alpha yesterday after I finished my last layout because the letters did not come off cleanly and often left the adhesive on the backing sheet or would tear. It was not worth the stress of trying to use them. So even though I didn't use it all up I still got it out of my stash.

It was not worth the stress of trying to use them. So even though I didn't use it all up I still got it out of my stash. I did this with 2 rolls of We R Memory Keepers washi tape yesterday. They would not peel off in a single piece. Kind of crackly.
