Hate it! I don't think that it tastes like soap to me. I think it takes like fermented dirt, if there would be such a thing.

What is good about it? Is it sweet? Is it awesome tasting? Does it add so much to something you are eating? (I can't eat it so I want to understand!!!)

Love! Unfortunately I struggle with eating it fresh. It causes my tongue to swell a bit. But if I eat it cooked, I am fine. My family loves it, too.

Also for those of you cilantro haters, there is a website called ihatecilantro.com where you can share your loathing of cilantro.

HATE HATE HATE cilantro, did I mention HATE? It tastes like lemon Joy to me. I had to stop going to my favorite Mexican Restaurant because they started putting it in EVERYTHING (why does cheese dip need cilantro?) when it became trendy a few years ago.

Hate it, not a soap taste, just a strong taste I dislike.

Life would surely suck if I didn't love cilantro, onions and peppers!

I love cilantro, which is a good thing, considering where I live, lol!!
I am VERY glad it doesn't taste like soap to me... in my opinion cilantro adds a much-needed 'bright and fresh' note to a lot of foods, including various Mexican foods, and Indian curries.
ETA: I think there is a point where you can add too much to certain dishes, and I don't agree at ALL with the 'tasteless' comment... cilantro is VERY strong tasting! I will have to try to keep it in a glass (like a bouquet) like someone suggested upthread; it gets slimy really quickly in the frig. (thankfully, it's REALLY CHEAP in the grocery stores here.)
