Apparently cilantro is one of those herbs that you either love or hate I loooooove it and usually add double the amount called for in any recipe Do you like cilantro or does it taste like soap to you?

Love cilantro, love the smell of cilantro. Dh does not like cilantro so any recipe that calls for it I reduce the amount and then add extra to mine.

LOVE cilantro. It's like catnip for me.
Feel sorry for the people with the soapy-tasting gene.

Love it! And luckily DH and DS love it too, since I use it a lot in our plant based whole foods cooking.

Not a big fan. I think I've only bought it once or twice. Wasn't a big hit.

I feel it's so mild it's almost tasteless. Plus it goes bad so fast, I've stopped buying it.

I hate cilantro, but it doesn't taste like soap to me. It overpowers other flavors and is just yuck!

Soap or something gag-worthy. I can't even handle a hint of it in something. I won't eat it. I still remember as a kid being with my aunt we went to the back of the grocery store at her town for some reason and I almost gagged from some smell I had never smelled before. It was cilantro.

I don't find it soapy but it's definitely an acquired taste. I like it in pico de gallo and on fish tacos. That's about it.

This questions needs a poll attached. I love cilantro. I use it so much, it is one of the herbs I grow.
