After constantly being told they're wrong about EVERYTHING and terrible people for not having the correct opinion, I can't believe anyone still thinks any Trump supporters still participate here. Or that anyone still thinks anything Trump supporters say will be acknowledged as anything but wrong. She this is where your "argument is flawed. It's NOT a matter of a "correct opinion". You DO NOT EVER congratulate a recipient of a Purple Heart--most especially one who suffered a dismemberment. Try it--Argue that it IS proper to congratulate a now, forever dismembered service person. I dare you. The ONLY correct response is a THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. He SHOULD have known that, having all his bigly words and all. HE WAS WRONG, in every way, on that. Furthermore, the OP WAS CORRECT. His interview was at times, unintelligible, rambling, and his answers irrelevant to what he was being asked. If you feel so strongly that you can defend him on these two things, then do so and stop chastising those who think opposite. Isn't that what you just posted on another thread? Stop the demonizing because of a difference of opinion? Wow. I don't understand why anyone who is conservative wouldn't jump at the chance to answer your demand for them to reply to the thread. You are so opened minded and welcoming.

Trump's interview with the AP on Friday, showed again he is incapable of telling the truth. The interview becomes so bizarre at times, dementia seems like a real possibility. I've said this before. He absolutely is in the early stages of dementia. You can see it in his eyes and his speech patterns. If you see videos of him when he was younger the difference in his speech and eyes is very obvious. I said the same thing about Reagan in his last term and was harshly chastised for daring to say that but it was true. You mark my word trump has dementia. Several of my friends have been saying this and the AP interview transcript seems to make it pretty clear.

I just read most of that interview. I think I lost 12 IQ points. I need to eat a half a bag of Smarties now. Damn... what a mess. I had more comprehensive conversations with the 2nd graders in my classes. no kidding, eh? how can anyone read that jibberish and not be alarmed and ashamed that this is the president of the USA! or defend it?

I'm a bad person. I laughed when I read the "I just don't watch anymore" excerpt. He is out of his frickin'-frackin' mind. No, seriously. He brings up the election results in every single answer. He really is absolutely out of his mind. He is right or has to prove (or declare) he is right at everything he does or says. So if he knows it isn't clear or he hasn't convinced the world it is so, he seems compelled to bring it up again. Someone contradicts a fact of his "greatness" he seems compelled to address it and Every. little. thing. Never ending unless no one contradicts him again. Lather, rinse ,repeat. He is caught in a spiral trying to prove, re-prove or convince his greatness to everyone. Probably mostly himself. Maybe he "doesn't watch anymore" because he literally can't keep up with everything to rebut. If he isolates himself in this way and makes his world smaller it is easier to make himself Right! Winning! the Best! Success! It all circles round to "because he said so." It may be dementia (or partly) or that the job of POTUS isn't as easy as he said it would be. Too much going on for his overloaded brain to handle. He is juggling so many unnecessary balls because of his narcissism. I think he could short circuit soon.

Liberal, Obama supporting Peas sat through 8 years of ridiculous, hateful rhetoric from the right. The President and his family were criticized non-stop. Funny thing is, I don't remember any hairflips or dramatic exits. I don't remember any liberal Pea crying about how she couldn't share her opinion or how "hostile" the other side was. I wonder who the snowflakes really are here. (Bold is mine) What exactly were 2Peas members, that were Obama supporters/voters, called and what kind of hateful rhetoric was directed at them? I didn't participate in any political threads before this election. What I've seen referenced from reading this time around is "libtards" which is awful in and of itself. Was there more? Yes, and you will notice that our resident trump supporter never says what are all of the positive, wonderful things trump has done for this nation, just whines about all the horrible liberals and how mean they are. Gia has repeatedly said she doesn't support Trump, didn't vote for Trump, agrees with some things he's done, and disagrees with other things. Hmm. Stupid. Unpatriotic. Snowflakes. Lauren hurled racial slurs at me and others. I'm sure there were many more. I think the idea of conservative peas being personally attacked and run off has been repeated so many times that you all believe it. Most of the people who are gone left because they couldn't handle actual criticism of the president and his policies.

yes, but- the real 'argument' (or topic, in this case) is: Trump's incoherent, rambling interview, linked in the original post.
Okay, here is a very direct question, to see if that helps any: @mytnice: What is your opinion on the thread topic? ? ? Which is, again, Trump's rambling, incoherent interview answers. Just curious. Since that is what this thread is about. I am curious to know what your opinion OF THAT TOPIC is. Really!

Adding to the thoughts of dementia, he reminds me of my father in law who suffered from Alzheimer's. That was a sad, long and upsetting several years.

That's the most bizarre transcript of any interview that I have ever read. There's something definitely wrong with him without a doubt.
A 6 year old would have the ability to articulate their thought better than him. I can't imagine what he'd be like at a world leaders summit of any kind. The rest of them would have no clue what he was talking about.

I think the idea of conservative peas being personally attacked and run off has been repeated so many times that you all believe it. Most of the people who are gone left because they couldn't handle actual criticism of the president and his policies. It's been repeated because that's what several have said when they left and the reason many people who are still here but don't participate any more have said repeatedly as the reason they don't. To continue to argue that it doesn't happen and the reason is they just can't handle it is ignoring actual threads that have been linked several times where it showed outrageous examples of and also when it happens and people point it out. You either missed every last time those have happened or just need to pretend "your side" has no participation in it whatsoever, because you "can't handle the criticism". I'm not sure which side you fall on.

You can youtube trump and dementia and it may bring up the video that I saw of him when he was younger. It's been a while and I think that is where I saw it. I also watched several of the youtube videos that a son (Joe?) made of his mother who is suffering from dementia. You cannot mistake the similarities to her speech and trump's.

apnews.com/c810d7de280a47e88848b0ac74690c83couple of excerpts: TRUMP: Well in business, you don't necessarily need heart, whereas here, almost everything affects people. So if you're talking about health care — you have health care in business but you're trying to just negotiate a good price on health care, et cetera, et cetera. You're providing health. This is (unintelligible). Here, everything, pretty much everything you do in government, involves heart, whereas in business, most things don't involve heart. AP: What's that switch been like for you? TRUMP: In fact, in business you're actually better off without it. AP: What's making that switch been like for you? TRUMP: You have to love people. And if you love people, such a big responsibility. (unintelligible) You can take any single thing, including even taxes. I mean we're going to be doing major tax reform.[....] TRUMP: And I don't watch things that I know are going to be unpleasant. CNN has covered me unfairly and incorrectly and I don't watch them anymore. A lot of people don't watch them anymore, they're now in third place. But I've created something where people are watching ... but I don't watch CNN anymore. I don't watch MSNBC anymore. I don't watch things, and I never thought I had that ability. I always thought I'd watch. AP: Sure. TRUMP: I just don't. And that's taken place over the last year. And you know what that is, that's a great, it's a great thing because you leave, you leave for work in the morning you know, you're, you don't watch this total negativity. I never thought I'd be able to do that and for me, it's so easy to do now. Just don't watch. AP: That's interesting. TRUMP: Maybe it's because I'm here. I don't know. I've only gotten this far, and wow. Holy hell. And while I'm at it, OMFG.

It's horrible that nasty comments were made to you personally, and to the large number Obama supporters/voters. I'm not a republican, I'm not a democrat and I didn't vote for either Trump or Hilary. There were three main Republican's that called people names. All three of them are gone but a few people here continue to call out anyone they think voted for Trump or are republicans. Many of the liberals that are here continue to high five themselves and mean girl anyone that doesn't jump on their Trump hate bandwagon. I didn't vote for Trump and I think he is a horrible president. But I don't need five or six threads every single day discussing him. People have left the board not because they are snowflakes, they have left the board because they have decided they don't like the change in the board. Good for them, they aren't sitting here in misery like some others we see and have to hear from day after day after day. Instead of mocking them, it's too bad others can't admire them for not falling into the hate and name calling that is still going on.

I watched my dad struggle with thoughts and coherent speech for years while his health declined due to Alzheimer's disease. He was put on disability at his job because of his inability to make decisions that affected his work as a printer. I am horrified to observe the same patterns in a person with the power and decision making responsibilities for the United States of America. I am horribly sad to think Donald Trump is quite probably suffering from some stage of dementia. I cannot think of a single positive thing to say about him, but I do not wish this on him or his family in the least.

Okay, finished it. Given how all over the place he was, I'm kind of surprised that there were only 6 spots the transcriber marked as 'unintelligible'. I read in another article that there were 13 "unintelligible" notations and that they referred to when an aide was speaking over Trump, so they could not make out the words said. 100% of Trump's interview responses were jibberish though!

I only made it through about half of it. Brag, brag, brag. He can't function without adulation even it he has to make up stuff about himself. And of course, nothing is ever his fault. He's great and everyone who doesn't agree with him is wrong or a bad person. But I don't know that he has a declining mental state. From what I've read, it seems like he has always been this way. I can't link any info but a friend told me the other day that she's been watching clips of him speaking 20, 15, 10, 5 years ago and that his mental decline is obvious.

I'm trying to read it. I am having difficulty sticking with it. I keep getting irritated every time I read the word "great" and his talking about how popular he is and how much other presidents like him. I've never witnessed anyone so obsessed with being liked in my life. I don't want to think that this is real. Surely someone with such a limited vocabulary and skewed sense of self can't last in this position for long, right? I am still not sure how he won in the first place, but now that we really see what he is about on a regular basis, those that voted for him must be smacking their heads and wishing they hadn't done so.
