I got your card the other day. Thanks so much! Sooo cute. Where did you get the sentiment stamp you used on the outside? I don't recall. I really liked the sentiment. I'm Jewish, so the reference to a Miracle works for me since the whole premise of Hanukkah is that a Great Miracle happened Can you try googling the sentiment (I don't recall the exact wording off the top of my head) and add the words "rubber stamp" and see if something comes up? ETA: here you go: www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook-Paper-Crafts/Stamping/Rubber-Stamps/Always-Leave-a-Little-Room-Rubber-Stamp/p/17782WOW!! Thanks so much. Yes, I too, like the miracle aspect of the sentiment...and the season.

Some of y'all are overachievers. I'm loving getting all the happy mail this week, so fun! Even though I started early and have a good chunk of my cards already made, I've still got quite a few to make and all to address and whatnot. I do have the stamps though... It's been a crazy busy week at work and life in general, so I'm hoping for a quieter one this coming week.
So I'm choosing to look at my running behind as a bonus for the peas, everyone is so eager to get their cards out that y'all rush to get them sent right away and we typically get a ton this first week or so. Don't get me wrong - that's awesome, but it tends to taper off the closer we get to Christmas. So I'm (inadvertently) helping to spread out the love a little bit later in the season. Does that sound like a total procrastinator or what?

It has a resit decal. It had Chewbacca on the front I'll have to tell DS card made it into a patrol car. He'll get a kick out of that. He made the "Resistance" symbol decals at school but it was shortened t to 'resist' because size made "resistance" impossible. Thanks again for hosting and everyone who helped and are participating! HoHoHo! PLurker - Absolutely loved the Star Wars card! My son will get a kick out of the card, as well as the sticker. I can't wait to show him when he gets home from college. Tell your son that it was a great idea!

I have started receiving cards too and it makes me smile everyday when I get home from work and see them. Mine should be in the mail in the next few days, but I feel like a total slacker. Mine are store bought! I had a few handmade ones that I made in classes that may go randomly in the swap.

DH was impressed that we have a Pea named Nancy Drew. I had to gently tell him that that is her Pea Name.

I am going to start addressing envelopes this weekend-do we have the final edits complete for the addresses? I know there were a few changes. It would be great if everyone just double checked and made sure their own info is complete. Looking forward to Pea Mail this December-was so much fun when I did this a few years ago. : ) I corrected the originals to include the starting 0s. After the corrected lists were sent out the only correction that came was this from Lisa D. FWD: I just realized my address says MO instead of MI. So sorry that I didn't notice before now. Lisa D. I haven't heard from anyone else. Just reposting this to make sure it doesn't get missed. This was the only correction.

I finally got my cards in the mail today. I didn't make nearly as many of them as I hoped to, but I was still excited to be able to send a card to everyone. I had a production line going with my grand nieces. The twins are 6, and the baby is 2.5. They handed me the cards and pulled the stickers off the lists for me. When we were finished, I noticed they handed me some envelopes upside down, so if you get one of those addressed upside down cards, I was babysitting, not drunk. Happy Holidays to you all!

Ok y'all my a sheriff's deputy way to happy. He got the Star Wars card and put on his visor in his patrol car. If that is mine, it makes me happy to know. and now I feel less guilty about first time non-handmade. thanks! Did it include a little Star Wars vinyl sticker? My DS made up those to help me get over the store bought guilt. lol My son grabbed that sticker right away (big Star Wars fan)!

I think the mailman thinks I'm either stalking him or have a crush on him as I run to the mailbox when he's out there! 5 more wonderful cards this morning!

I'm getting cards too! Mine are going out the door, 20 at a time. I'll have them all mailed by the end of next week!
Does anyone know how I can make a book out of these? They are so pretty!

I'm excited to walk downtown to my business PO Box every day - these days it's always full of cards! (I wish the usps notification thing worked for PO Boxes so I would know for sure, but it never hurts to get some exercise in). PLurker I loved the dark side cookies card - made me literally laugh out loud. I just need to find a good spot for your son's decal now. Thank you, all! I've received so many gorgeous cards. It's fun to see all the different ideas people have. (As a cardmaker and seller, it's also quite interesting for me to see how handmade elements hold up in the post.) Still haven't figured out how to display them... not sure I have a wall big enough!

I am absolutely loving this! I'm surprised that my younger daughter wants to see every card that arrives; that makes me happy. I received 8 cards yesterday, which is more than I normally get for the entire season! Hello to my almost-neighbor here in Washington!
I still have about 45 cards to make. My international ones are all ready to go, and I have the postage, just need to affix those and get them in a mailbox. And about 70 of the US ones are all ready to go. Just haven't left the house today, but they should be in the mailbox tomorrow. Hoping to do some more card making tonight. I'm really not good at it, and it is taking so long! I'm glad I started weeks ago.

So far, I have cards from Washington state (2), California (2), Georgia, Minnesota, North Carolina and New Jersey. So many beautiful cards! I really want to put them into an album of card inspiration.

It’s been so fun getting mail this week!!! I am definitely going to do this again!!!
The Star Wars one was awesome!! I didn’t get what the sticker meant and was hoping it wasn’t some kind of weirdo thing going on... hahaha... finally after a little Googling I found it!! I should have known!!
I can’t pick a favorite either there are so many good ones!! Love a little birdie I got and one fancy dear... shoot I could go on and on... I do love them all homemade or not!!
I have sent out about 20 and need to get more postage. My first 20 all are Harry Potter stamps... it’s what I had I hand... thought it was a little fun to use ... my international ones will go out but at he rate I work they may be a little late... sooo sorry!!
I think I need to make about ten more cards!! Yikes!!

Part of mine were mailed on Saturday from "Bethlehem" including the internationals. More are ready to go this week. Please note if you get a card from me with coloring that it was made more with love than with skill. I saw that postmark!!! Very cool and your coloring card very cute!!
