I dropped my last batch of cards in the mail this morning. I'm working two jobs right now, seven days a week. My husband and I are divorcing. I just moved at the beginning of the month and haven't had time to do much unpacking, so I'm surrounded by boxes. In the last two weeks both my youngest son and I have been in car accidents - mine was minor; his was not (he's fine but his car was totalled). I have barely seen my friends in months because I have no free time. Life is hectic! Coming home to a mailbox full of Pea cards has been wonderful, and truly what I needed. Thank you, Peas!! Oh my, you have really been through a lot. Blessings to you this holiday season. Thanks, Joy! I look at all the things in my life that are good, and I'm thankful every day for those.

I got your card last weekend. I love how everything coordinated...the card..the address label...the stamp! Made me smile, Thank you!

The last of mine were mailed today! I sent to everyone but most of mine were store bought. I think I had enough hand-made cards from classes, etc that I sent all of those to the International Peas. I am really enjoying getting my cards.

Some received handmade, some received postcards, some received written addresses and some labels. But ALL are in the mail! And I'm starting early next year!! This month has been brutal - and receiving your cards has definitely been a highlight.

Just sent DH to the post office with the last stack of cards to be sent out. First stack got sent out yesterday. I pulled two all nighters in a row to get them finished. Whew, never doing that again-next year I am really going to start in July! International Peas I'm so sorry yours are going to be late. Please think of them as Happy New Year's cards I was able to send to everyone who sent me a card (around 80) so I'm so sorry to everyone else on the list. Hopefully next year I can get to everyone. Thank you so very much to everyone again who sent me a card this year. I love this tradition so much that we do each year. It truly is the highlight of our Christmas season as we see the cards fill up our mailbox and it's such a delight every day as we open each card and place it on our built in huge bookcase in the living room for all to see. Such wonderful Pea love from all around the world Peace, love and happiness to all of you this wonderful holiday season.

Well I mailed to almost every one except 25 peas. But I also haven't even started the cards for my co-workers. So, the last 25 and my team are getting New Year cards I hope everyone doesn't mind, but I'm actually excited to do them without the Christmas rush pressure and because I get to use a new die for them

It’s really nice to receive one after the Christmas rush. Like hers, yours will be a nice “bonus”!

The saddest thing about the holidays is that when you receive your last card, you don't know it's the last card.

Charlotte, I saw my card in the photo; thank you for sharing that! And scrapsuzy, I'm so sorry you've been in the hospital, and I wish you a healthier new year. Don't know if I posted that I was able to send a homemade card to EVERYONE on the list! Hopefully all of them have arrived by now. So if you didn't get one from me, I'm sorry, it must have been lost en route. Tonight I taped all of my cards up on the stairs wall and they look so festive! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who sent me a card, and a special thank you to the couple of people who wrote a personal note to me; you know who you are, and it meant a lot. So far I've only received 3 cards that weren't from Peas. I'm not sure how many Pea cards I have. Tomorrow I'll try to count them and take photos. I also marked all of the locations the cards came from on a map. Some of my favorite things included: the envelope that had a pretty pattern on it to match the card the "happy mail, not a bill" stamp that someone shows in a photo in this thread the "peas on earth" stamp (which I really want, btw; I have to find that stamp) the beautiful photo postcard of somewhere in California (Sacramento area, I think, but not certain) a couple of people who had a personalized stamp with their real name or their pea name a couple of cards that looked so labor intensive that I couldn't believe anyone made so many of them! a stamp of a pair of glasses on the back of one card the stamp that said "this is a handmade card" followed by a threat if it was thrown away; this made me laugh! getting a card from Bremerton, which is only about 30 minutes from me getting two cards from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada getting a card from Alaska So far I haven't received any from outside the US other than 3 from Canada. I hope I will get some more still. My daughters have enjoyed this too, and my younger daughter helped me open the cards and read every single one, and I even got her to help me with the map. Than you, Peas!

They will be getting store bought this year. I just don't have it in me to make one more card. I also loved and laughed out loud at the "Peas on Earth" stamp and would love to know where in the heck the Pea who has this found it or had it made. Although if we all went out and bought it, it just wouldn't be the same would it? That was such a clever, wonderful stamp on the back of her card. Loved it!

I posted my cards yesterday (Sunday in NZ) - and crossing my fingers that you get them before Christmas! (Such a sucky November & December for me....that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) And my guilty admission - I didn't send cards to everyone, sorry. However, the cards I have received, are all hanging up in my lounge room - and very visible when you walk into the room. AND, out of all the cards hanging up, not one of them is from a family/friend here in NZ - they are all from the peas! i got this today! All the way from New Zealand! Love it! I've received 78 cards from the peas and I love each one! Now to figure out a way to display them...

Thank you for the handmade cards, the photo cards, the store cards, the cardfronts, the little messages - I love them all!
THANK YOU

Friday was our last day for mail. My DH pulled out 10 more cards and he was like WOW, you got a lot of scrappy friends. The inside of my door is covered (except for the card holder, door knob area and bottom of door that could get muddy). I can now put some on the front of the door with magnets. My card holder was not made for these many cards!!! I will have to post pics after the holidays. Thank you all so much! Been a rough year and the cards have made it so much more great!

I got 4 more cards in the mail yesterday and I don't mind making 4 more cards for these wonderful Peas at all-but I hope you don't mind if I change them to New Year's cards because I won't have time to make them until December 26th. Tonight we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, and tomorrow we celebrate my mom's birthday on Christmas Day. After I finish here I've got to run out to Whole Foods to get her birthday cake and some flowers for my my mom. I still haven't done the cards for my friends and family (which is okay to me, I only got one card in the mail this year and I usually send out 15 to this group) and I'm changing these to New Year's cards too. These folks are getting store bought I'm so happy we do this annual tradition here! I looked over at some of the cards I've saved through the years last night and found out I've been part of this tradition since 2013 so this year makes the 5th year. Thanks so much to everyone who sent me a card this year. May everyone on the list have a wonderful peaceful holiday filled with joy and happiness and an incredible New Year!

This was my first swap. I finally got cards out. This month has not been kind to me. Some got hand made cards and some store bought. I didn’t get everyone. Ugh. But I did get most. Next year I’m making cards in May! It was so much fun getting cards in the mail.

This is my first time participating. I made a card for everyone on the list and it's been really exciting for me and my kids to receive all the pea cards. Unfortunately 2 of my cards got returned as the address label fell off. They were Avery labels. First and last time buying the Kraft envelopes from amazon. So for those peas that did not receive a card from me, I am sorry. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season.

That's okay, since my cards will probably stay up for a week or two more, so when it does come I can add it to my wall. I'll try and remember to let you know when it arrives. We've been having major problems with our post office, so the fault could very well lie right here.

My friend who is a Creative Memories consultant is coming over tomorrow night with her DH for gumbo and to play games. I was making cards at her crop in October. I can't wait for her to see all the wonderful cards I got from the 2Peas!

Sending 90 cards to the US peas this morning from beautiful Venice Florida. My dad winters in the Venice/Nokomis area. I love it there! I wasn't able to participate this year, but remember opening my mailbox to all those wonderful cards. Merry Christmas!

I had only been to Florida (Disney) once before. I can't wait to go back to Nokomis, lovely beach, great shopping in Venice and the outlets at Ellerton, great seafood, really friendly people and they can spot a Canadian in a heartbeat. It was great.

I've really enjoyed receiving the cards this year - my kids have rushed to the mailbox each day, and even created a game where we have to guess which state's cards were in the batch that day. If you guess a correct state, you get to open the envelope!
All cards received so far have been attached to the wall:

I hope you all had a great holiday. It was so nice to go to the mailbox today and receive seven more cards! I have enjoyed every one of them. I sent a card to everyone-- I hope they all got there. I don't trust our mail service any more. Our mail is sent to another state, and then local mail is sent back to us. The turn around time is three to four days.
