Both DH and I wear ours all the time. I can't remember the last time either of us took ours off. I wear my wedding band, engagement ring (a solitaire with a fairly small diamond) and my grandmother's anniversary band on my left hand. On my right is a hand is a band of sapphires and diamonds. I wear all of them all the time.

Dh takes his off when he plays softball or lifts weights. I take mine off if I'm making something messy that I might mix with my hands. Otherwise, we keep them on.

Except for a brief period when I gained some weight ( and they didn’t fit) I never take mine off. Hubby has never taken his off either. Was glad of this when I lost all my other jewelry in a house robbery!!

Neither of us ever wear our rings. DH never did. I wore mine for several years but they make my finger itch in cold weather so I stopped wearing them. DH commented on my not wearing them and I said I’d wear them again when he started wearing his. Ended that discussion immediately.

My husband doesn't have a wedding ring. Neither his grandfather or father had wedding rings, and my sil didn't know men even wore wedding rings until she was older! My husband hates jewelry of any kind, so he doesn't wear a watch, never bought a school ring. It saved me money because I didn't have to buy him a ring!
I love jewelry, but stopped wearing most rings when I had my first child. I wear my wedding/engagement ring (that I got after we were married 10 yrs.) all the time. I would lose them if I didn't!

Mine hasn't been taken off more than twice since DH put it on my hand 18 years ago. His is worn most of the time now, but when he was travelling and working overseas on oil platforms, he always left it at home. My mother never took hers off after Dad put it on her. Now after nearly 50 years it won't come off.

I rarely wear mine lately. I wear it to work and take it off when I get home. I actually love my rings but I don't love wearing jewelry. DH always wears his.

I have not worn mine in many years. This is awful, but I went through a time where I was embarrassed by it...all the women in the family have much bigger diamonds. Then, I ended up gaining weight and that kept me from wearing it. My DH lost his first one in the Ocean. His second one had to be cut off when he had a sudden weight gain while on a medication. He has since lost the weight but never got the ring fixed.
Off subject, all of you saying you take them off to work with ground meat...I always worried that traces of raw meat ended up under or around my fingernails so I would use a scrub brush and bleach when cleaning my hands after making meatballs or such. I now keep a box of food prep gloves. They are great when cooking or crafting something icky.

I don't think dh has worn his wedding band since the day we got married LOL. I haven't worn my wedding band/engagement ring in a few years. I had my father's wedding band made into a simple everyday band for me (added some rose gold to it). It's literally a band and it doesn't get in the way of anything.

Dh is not a jewelry guy, so I never even got him a ring. I wore my band everyday until I got pregnant and swelled up. Haven't worn it since, even though it fits fine now. Turns out I'm not much of a jewelry girl.

Everyday when I get undressed I take them off. It's just part of getting undressed to me.
I don't wear them in the shower or swimming or working out. I don't wear them if I'm going to be walking a lot. I just went out of town for two days glamping and I didn't take them with me.
DH does the same.
When I get home for the day (or when he gets home from work), I take off my clothes and jewelry and put on some at home loungewear.

Mine is on 24 hours a day. Had a scare a few years ago when ds took it and hid it.
Dh takes his off only to shower, work out, and when he wood works.

DH hasn’t worn his in 15 years or more. For a long time it was hazardous to wear for his job, then it became too small. We sold it to The Gold Guys a few years ago. I wore mine 24/7 for 21 years, until last winter when I started working from home. I took it off one day because I was putting hand lotion on so much. I realized it was kinda nice not wearing it. Now, I only wear it on occasion when I leave the house.

I take mine off before I shower and don't put it back on until I'm finished getting dressed. My husband only takes his off if he's going camping and he has a silicone ring to put in place of his real ring. When I go camping I leave my engagement ring at home but still wear my band.

Neither of us wears a wedding ring. We've been married almost fifty years and only wore them the first couple of years. He hurt his finger and his ring didn't fit anymore. I lost my band between the bathroom and the bedroom! Thankfully is wasn't my diamond which I still wear occasionally when I go out. People sometimes ask if we are married and I tell them we just sleep together.

I take mine off when I take a shower, go to bed, or when I'm cooking something messy. Dh takes his off when he comes home from work.

DH wasn't allowed to wear his during the duration of his 22 years of Active Duty, so pretty much hasn't worn it for years.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and can't stand anything on my hands, havent worn mine for years either.

My husband said he couldn’t wear his so I said I wouldn’t either. He never took his off after I said that. I don’t get it either. I have sore fingers so don’t wear rings ever.

I take mine off when cooking sometimes and when we travel. My fingers swell when I walk a lot in the heat and my ring becomes too tight. After leaving my ring in a hotel safe at Disney (they were able to find it and mailed it back), I try to remember to leave it at home.
Dh wears his unless he is mountain biking or certain things around the house.

I never take mine off and can't remember ever doing so since I've been married. DH takes his off if he's golfing, he says he can't grip the club comfortably with it on, but not at any other time. Both are just plain gold bands though. Wedding rings with stone settings are not that common in the UK .
I don't take my engagement ring off that often either, only to do gardening or something similar where the setting would get dirty.

I take mine off when I'm working with bread dough. In the summer I take my rings off for the entire season because I'm worried I'll lose them in our lake. My husband lost his ring a few years ago and has not replaced it. He thinks it came off when he was gutting a deer out in the woods.

We take ours off all the time. Showering, cooking, yardwork, etc. I don't wear mine while I am at work either, jewelry is unsanitary. We are allowed to wear wedding rings, but I choose not to. Once I took my ring off and went outside to do some weeding in the garden. DH came home, saw my ring sitting there, couldn't find me anywhere, and thought I left him. Silly boy!

Mine is a pearl. When we were first married I took it off to clean etc. After awhile I began just leaving it off when I am at home. Now days I put it on when I remember it when I leave the house.
DH took his off when we were first married because he worked on machinery. He always wears him now.

I don't wear mine more than I wear it. I never wear them to work because I work in healthcare and I'm washing my hands often and putting on and taking off gloves all day. I'm afraid I will lose them. I try to remember to wear it when I'm going out on days off, but frequently forget to put them on. DH used to not wear his at all. He probably wears his more than I do now. We have been married over 25 years.
