I rarely take my ring off. I am reading the stories of wedding rings being found in the remains of burned out properties in our city from the recent firestorms. I never really thought about it until now.

Yes. As soon as I walk in the door. DH too. We wear them we we leave the house but that’s it.

I take mine off every night. My DH has not taken his off in the 13 years we have been married.

Yes. I take mine off every night and when I am working with my hands in dough. My DH takes his off for crossfit (6 days a week), swimming and yard work.

DH only wears his once or twice a year... and couldn't even tell you where it is. I only wear mine out of the house. I am religious about taking it off as soon as I walk in the door and panic every 5 minutes if I make it back out of the house and forget it.

Yes, we both do.
Dh has arthritis in his joints and can’t get his ring back on so he hasn’t worn it in years. He used to take it off when he was in the Navy working with the guns. I take mine off for crafting, exercising, handwashing, sleeping and when my fingers swell.

DH didn't want a ring so I didn't buy/give him one. I took mine off last February (?) and never put it back on.

I didn’t used to, but, aboit a year ago I started developing a rash under my wedding ring. It gets really red and starts to peel, so, I have had to take it off for months at a time to heal. DH always wears his. My dad never did. He was very faithful, but, didn’t wear his ring.

DH takes his off when golfing he said but then he clips it on his keyring until he is done. I only take mine off when I make meatloaf and then I have DH wear it until I'm done.

Yes. I take my rings off for work and tend to leave them off until I have a stretch of several days. I started doing that when they were difficult to get off and on and actually stopped wearing them altogether for that reason for a while. No longer an issue, but I've gotten in the habit.
Dh's needed to be resized as well. It was sliding off his finger and we were afraid he would lose it, so it's in a safe place until we remember to do get it fixed!

I very rarely take my rings off. My setting is a simple solitaire so I've never found it to be a problem. Perhaps if I had one of the larger settings that are so popular now, I would take it off more. DH only takes them off if he is on a rig, which isn't often, as that is a safety requirement.

Neither of us wear them anymore. DH has always had jobs where it would be dangerous to wear rings so he has never worn his much. I wore mine 24/7 for the first 21 years we were married. I took them off when I was pregnant and my hands swelled up so much I was afraid they would have to be cut off, and once I finally got them off I couldn’t get them back on again.
After my DD was born I was worried my ring would scratch her and I was washing my hands a million times a day anyway so I never had them resized, plus I didn’t have the money to do it. Now I could afford to get them resized but it’s been so long that I just haven’t bothered to do it. Maybe in a couple years for our 30th we’ll both go get wedding ring tattoos.

I take mine off. I prefer not to wear my rings at home, actually, when I'm just sitting around.
My dh doesn't take his off at all. It's been rare over the last 25 years. He even wore his ring during a surgical procedure this week. It has nothing to do with his undying love for me or anything like that. It's that if he took it off, he'd lose it instantly. 😜

I never take mine off. My dh never wears his. Married 26 years and probably has not ever worn it past the first year. He hates jewelry-no watch either-so I don't take it personally.

My husbant took off his ring the day after we were married and has not worn it since...that was 19 years ago. I wear mine.

I rarely take it off and neither does DH. I should take it off and clean it, it really needs it!

I take mine off if doing something with my hands like mixing dough or raw ground meat and usually put them back on after cleaning up. DH is on construction sites daily and only wears his ring to go out. He couldn't find his before a trip in the summer, so it may be MIA.

Neither of us wears ours. DH original ring was stolen when he was deployed during Desert Storm. I wore mine until late in my pregnancy, but my fingers swell so bad I stopped. I finally had them resized, but even now they are tight. I refuse to make them bigger. If I lost 20 pounds I'm sure they would be nice and roomy, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

DH wears his all the time, it's been resized once (it was loose). I wore mine all the time for 13 years then took it off 5 years ago when I was pregnant, and the last time I tried to put it on my finger started to turn purple. I guess I've gained weight in my fingers...it needs to be resized larger. Someday...

I wear four rings. Three are diamond rings that were my mother's and one is my wedding ring. I wear them all of the time unless we are boating. We just upgraded the diamond in my wedding ring after 30 years. I ain't taking that thing off!

We both wears ours day & night. I only take it off when making meatballs or meatloaf. Dh will occasionally take his off if his hands puff up after working out. ...and he's misplaced it doing that. He took if off recently and left it on the end table where our kitty spied it. I grabbed it just before she batted it off the table and into the abyss under the sofa but I hid it and then chastised dh for again misplacing the "symbol of our love" when he tried to remember where he left it. When we were newly married his ring slipped off his hand in the ocean at Oregon Inlet in NC and we were sure it was lost forever but after battling the waves and sifting thru the sand when he caught a glimpse of something shiny he found it. We were AMAZED.

The designer who made my ring told me, "This is not a ring to wear when you are doing housework!" So, I only wear it when I go out. The minute I come in the house--it goes in the jewelry box.
My husband worked around machinery, so he wore his only about a week and it is in the jewelry drawer.

I wear mine sometimes, DH has psoriatic arthritis and most of his finger joints have nodules, so he can't wear rings any longer.

DH doesn't, but I do because my fingers would sometimes swell when I sleep with them on.

I can't even wear my official wedding ring any more (too small) but have three alternates that I wear only when I leave the house. My fingers swell whenever I get warm, so I take them off as soon as I get home and begin cleaning, cooking, etc. DH, on the other hand, has lost weight in his fingers, so his ring tends to slide off. He takes his off at home as well to avoid losing it while doing chores.

I take mine off when I'm sleeping And my fingers swell. I'm worried I'll lose it so I have an identical ring with cheap stones that I wear everyday and I only wear my wedding rings on special occasions...and only then if I remember. Usually once a year or so.

Neither dh or I wear our rings. Dh couldn't really wear his with the work he used to do and I felt like mine were in the way of taking care of my babies (like accidentally scratching them). Now I just don't like wearing rings and my ring from 24 years ago isn't my style.

We don't wear ours at all. We used to, but mine got too small and getting them resized cost more then the rings did so I didn't bother and my husband's got too small and can't be resized. Mine sit in a jewelry box. His is in the nightstand. Maybe someday we'll replace them, but the rings were never that important to us.
