I'm looking for a looser-filled pillow in the hopes of not squishing my face so badly when I sleep on my stomach (which I do about 95% of the time.) I stayed in several hotels in October that had very loose pillows and it seemed like they worked better than my current pillow, which is a tight fiberfill.
I keep looking at My Pillow, but it's hard to tell how loose the filling is, or how malleable it is...i.e. can I mush out a hollow for my face or pile up the filling where I need it. So I'm also curious to know what the feeling is on that pillow, too.
Any recommendations would be great. I am actually affecting the vision in my right eye because it gets so mushed when I sleep on it. I cannot sleep on my back, I flip over in my sleep no matter what.

I only buy down pillows. Everything else it too stiff for me. I am also a stomach sleeper.

I have it and once squished into a pillow case I consider it my hard pillow.

Yes, you can shape it how you want it. I've had mine for four years now and I still love it. If it starts to get flat, you can put it in the dryer to re-fluff. I've only ever had to do that 3-4 times.
I haven't slept on my stomach comfortably for a year, but I used to and loved the MyPillow for that. It's great for side sleepers too.
I bought DH one because he flattened all the others so quickly. He's had this one for a year and really likes it.
Mine was bought for me as sort of a "gag gift" because I get such a kick out of infomercial products, but I have to say it's just about my favorite thing ever.

There are different fills for the My Pillow. I just bought one a few weeks ago. So far so good. I sleep on my side or stomach. I am also short so many pillows are too high/thick for me. I went to the my pillow store to check them out but ended up getting one at Kohls. I got the medium full, which is #2. I almost got the softest one but they didn't have it at Kohls so I thought I would give the medium a try. The #1 is definitely more malleable than the #2 but so far the medium is working for me.

I have one of the travel versions of My Pillow that a friend gave me, and once it’s squished it gets pretty stiff. It’s okay for side sleeping but not so much for stomach sleeping. I flip and flop all night long from side to side to stomach to back, and a few years ago I decided I will ONLY buy down pillows for myself now. The last one I bought was a Kathy Ireland branded one that I got at Tuesday Morning last summer for about $30 and the down fill is very loose and squishy. I fold it in half to sleep on my side and pull it flat to sleep on my stomach. I like it.
The down pillows at Costco are pretty decent too but they only came in a two pack. I bought some of those to take to the lake cabin a couple years ago. I didn’t want to spend $60-70 when I really only needed one.
Another good place to check is Select Comfort Sleep Number stores. I bought a very nice soft down pillow from there before too but they’re pretty expensive. I think I paid about $75-80 for one pillow in the past and that was after the discount.

I don’t but here are a couple of links where I gave my opinion on my cut memory foam pillow. In the last 2 links I gave a link to my pillow so you can see it and read the description. Finding a pillow that you like and works for you is hard...good luck! My pillow thread
Another pillow
And one more

I've been using this one for 2 years. Still love it. Amazon has them for 35% off after you add it to your cart. Not sure how long the sale will be. Amazon pillow

I love my My Pillow! I have the med fill, and DH has the firm. If you watch the infomercials they mention height/weight to determine which pillow they recommend. Also, use a looser pillow case with them and it won't seem as firm.

They have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau.

They have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. This rating had nothing to do with quality or customer service. It was based on their pricing policy of buy one get one free, not seeming like a temp offer but more of permanent pricing.

If you’ve loved a hotel pillow, you might be able to buy that same pillow. I’ve done it with Hilton and I know Westin has offerings too. I recently read a thread of disboards where someone found the same pillows used at the Grand Californian online.
I’ve only felt a My Pillow in the store and didn’t care for the chunkiness of the filling. I’m used to down pillows though.

I have one and love it. However, I got it for precisely the opposite reason from you. I hat flat squishy pillows and this one holds its shape. I got the firmest one they sell - maybe the less firm ones would meet your needs. It does conform to your head and you can "squish" it to how you want it, but I wouldn't call it a squishy pillow.

Mine is squishy, get the loosest fill. DH has the medium I think. I didn't buy mine so I didn't pay attention to that but mine is definitely softer than his.

Plus I like that they're made in the USA.

I tried My Pillow which I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond and returned to them for a refund. I tried it several nights but it was lopsided and no amount of 'squishing' could get it even. I don't think it is worth the money.

My 20 yo ds and I are fans. Sounds like you'd probably like the medium fill one. I have that one and like it but got intrigued by ds' "bigger" pillow. He picked me up the same one, which is firm and although I like it, it's too firm and I keep going back to my squishy medium fill.

I only buy down pillows. Everything else it too stiff for me. I am also a stomach sleeper. That's exactly what I was going to say. I keep two down pillows on my bed. I buy one new each year or so. The oldest one that's lost the most of it's fluffiness gets rotated out and the new one gets added to my two-pillow pile.
