This list is for the New England states plus New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and the Virginias. If you know of a LSS in one of these states that's worth going out of the way for when we're driving through the area, please tell me the store name and location, and if you'd like to add a review, that's helpful too. I'll maintain a reference list in the top post. In order to keep the list from going off in too many directions, I'm not including general art supply stores or stamping supply stores unless they also sell traditional scrapbooking supplies, but feel free to mention them in your posts below if they're amazing. No MLMs please; only stores we can visit. This thread is a s/o of the How Close is your LSS? thread. in which a poster mentioned how great it would be to know where these awesome stores are so she could plan a road trip. I agree! Let's make some lists - then we can plan our road trips! Connecticut Papercraft Clubhouse in Westbrook (close to I-95, highly recommended by msliz ) Scrapbook Cove in Stonington (recommended by @ihavetoomuchstuff ) Poster's Arts and Crafts in Fairfield DelawareMaineMaine Country Charm in Millinocket Fabricate in Bar Harbor (recommended by scrapbookwriter ) MarylandThe Queens Ink in Savage (recommended by woodysbetty ) Photo Scraps in Eldersburg (recommended by woodysbetty ) Massachusetts
Life's Memories and More in Palmer (recommended by linda999 ) New Hampshire Cropaholics in Wilton (hard to tell from the photos what the shop is like) Stamped Designs in Dover (recommended by aj2hall ) Butterfly Reflections in Kingston (recommended by aj2hall ) New Jersey
Paper Anthology in Kenvil (recommended by clueless and hop2 ) New York
Scrap-A-Latte in West Babylon, Long Island (recommended by christinec68 ) Buffalo Stamps in Amherst Inky Hot Mess in Geneva (recommended by paperaddictedpea ) Pennsylvania
Scrapbook Super Station in Butler (recommended by Prenticekid ) Stamp Fanci in Pittsburgh (recommended by Prenticekid ) Monkey Business Scrapbook Lounge in Erie Forevermore Scrapbooks in Gettysburg Countryside Creations in Gordonville Rhode IslandBella Art Online in Johnston (recommended by katyscrap , close to I-295) Scrapbook Haven in Chepachet (recommended by katyscrap , looks nice) CLOSING AUGUST 1, 2020 Vermont The Scrapbook Nook in Bellows Falls (close to I-91, recommended by @ihavetoomuchstuff ) VirginiaGoldensHill Papercraft in Clifton (recommended by scrapnnana ) West VirginiaThanks RefuPeas! I don't know how to link, but it's a great small store in Palmer MA. Actually the only one left in Mass.

this thread is making me a little sad when I started scrapping in 2000 there were so many local stores in New England I'm sad too. When I made a similar list on the old 2Peas, it was stuffed full of names, and that was even after the first big wave of closings.

Is anyone familiar with Stamp Hideaway Rubber Stamping & Scrapbook Store in Littlestown, PA? I found them online, and they look like a nice stamp store to visit, but I can't tell from the photos if they actually have enough scrapbooking supplies to be included in the list. If you've ever been there, I'd love to know what you think. Also, not a scrapbook store, but another stamping store some of might want to check out if you get the chance. It looks small, but unique. The Ink Pad, NY, NY.

I have one to add for the Northern Virginia area. It is a paper arts store. They have beautiful papers, Tim Holtz products (Stamper's Anonymous and Ranger Ink), stamp supplies, and mixed media supplies. The owner is awesome!
The store is Goldenshill Papercrafts and ithe address is 12644 Chapel Road, Clifton, VA 20124.
I don't remember their days and hours, but they can be found online.
They are definitely worth the trip!

BTT for any other LSS in Virginia? Surely there is more than just one in this state.

When I was there they had just one small rack of 12x12 paper, so not much for scrappers unless you also love to stamp.

One more for Maine: www.mdifabricate.com/(Sorry, I'm on my phone and can't link) Fabricate is a scrapbook and quilting store in Bar Harbor. Along with several popular national scrapbook brands, the store has its own line of paper relating to Maine. The store is in a unique building - it's round and painted purple

So cool!

Just outside of Corning, NY is the Crafting Cottage. It's actually located in Painted Post. While it was a traditional store, it is now more of an inn where folks come to stay and have a crafty vacation. Everyone gets their own table setup and there are tons of tools like an accu-cut die machine available to use. I am not sure how many folks it holds to spend the night - you would have to check. The owner, Georgiana, has a small shop to purchase essential items and a few specialty things. Here is the link if you want to check it out: thecraftingcottage.com/It is not that far from the place mentioned above in Geneva, NY - Stay the night at the Crafting Cottage and plan a road trip there!

It seems that the retail shop is only open on occasional saturdays (unless attending a crop or workshop,) so I'm not going to include it in the list, but I'm very glad you mentioned it here for anyone who might be interested in looking them up. It looks like a sweet place with an active group.

Pages in Time is closed. Owner is doing some little workshops on the side but she was unable to find a buyer so the store is no longer in business.

Thanks hop2 for sharing with me that, due to the Corona virus, the NJ scrapbook store Paper Anthology now has online shopping. Same website as before there’s just a Click on shopping tab.

There have been two store closing emails in NE this week. Inspiration Station in Stafford Springs, CT is closing at the end of July - this is my "home" store and where I spent so much time cropping and making friends. It makes me super sad that it's closing after so many years.
The other is Scrapbook Haven in Glocester, RI.
I know that Papercraft Clubhouse in Westbrook, CT now has online ordering and hopefully that will help keep them around for a long time to come.

It makes me super sad that it's closing after so many years. This makes me sad too. I used to stop there when I lived in MA and drove to CT to see family. Debby was always so nice to my little girls. She'd let them each choose a bottlecap (remember when we put bottlecaps on our pages? ) and she'd squish it for them with her die cut machine. They're adults now, but they still remember the little store and the bottlecaps. Thanks for letting us know

I went to Butterfly Reflections on Friday. She has more stamps and dies than I have ever seen in one place! Her scrapbooking section is a bit small but I found plenty to buy! The owner of this shop, Vanessa, is having some major health issues. She was very kind and I enjoyed talking with her. I know she does a big on line business and is having a sale for the Fourth. If you are looking to place an order, I’m sure she would appreciate your business.
