This list is for the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. If you know of a LSS in one of these states that's worth going out of the way for when we're driving through the area, please tell me the store name and location, and if you'd like to add a review, that's helpful too. I'll maintain a reference list in the top post, though I might not be able to give it a ton of attention until after the new year. But please post your stores, and I'll try to keep up. In order to keep the list from going off in too many directions, I'm not including general art supply stores or stamping supply stores unless they also sell traditional scrapbooking supplies, but feel free to mention them in your posts below if they're amazing. No MLMs please; only stores we can visit. This thread is a s/o of the How Close is Your LSS? thread in which a poster mentioned how great it would be to know where these awesome stores are so she could plan a road trip. I agree! Let's make some lists - then we can plan our road trips! Arizona
Scraps of Love in Peoria (recommended by smginaz Suzy ) Bolts and More in Gilbert (recommended by smginaz Suzy ) The Paper Collage in Peoria (recommended by azcraftygal ) New MexicoOklahomaTexas

Thank you so much for doing this!
Here are the ones I know of (and have been to) in the DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth) area of Texas:
Crafty Scrapper 108 South Rogers Street Waxahachie, TX 75165 US
972-923-3151
The Little Blue House 7630 Glenview Dr Richland Hills, TX 76180
(817) 431-7930
My Scrap Haven 9300 John Hickman Pkwy #802 Frisco, TX 75035
(469) 714-5001
My experiences are limited, because I live at least 30 to 45 minutes from the closest one, and I have a huge stash, so I wait till I have other errands in those areas, which is extremely rare. I have lived in the DFW area a little over 14 months. I have been to Crafty Scrapper once, Little Blue House twice, and My Scrap Haven once. I bought most (item wise) at Crafty Scrapper, then My Scrap Haven, then Little Blue House. However, dollar wise, I probably spent more at Little Blue House than My Scrap Haven, just because the one thing I bought at Little Blue House cost more. The first trip to LBH, I bought nothing, but it was more because my scrap area was still full of boxes waiting to be unpacked, and I had no place to put anything new. The second time there, I bought a home decor item kit. At My Scrap Haven I bought several sheets in a Christmas paper line.
I like them all. I just have trouble justifying the drive to any of the stores since I have an enormous stash and really don't need anything. I rarely have any reason to drive to those areas for any other errands. They are probably conveniently located for most people, just not for me because of where I live. I'm out in the country. The local craft stores are relatively close, but I don't buy scrapping supplies at big box stores.
The Crafty Scrapper is well worth the trip. I went with a friend who was visiting, and I spent far more than I expected considering my huge stash and not needing a thing. They are a large store with scrapping and stamping supplies, and they also have classes and supplies for those into mixed media. I seriously wish they were closer. I would go all the time if they were a more reasonable driving distance. It takes me one hour fifteen minutes to drive there.
The Little Blue House moved, and I have not been to see the new location yet. For classes they seem to do a lot of stamping, cards, and fun home decor items decorated with scrapping supplies. They did NOT carry Graphic 45, which is one of my favorite companies, which was disappointing to me. They do have nice papers, but their original location was small, and space was very limited. Hopefully they have expanded their selection now that they are in a new location (which also appears to be a blue house, based on the photo).
My Scrap Haven was very new when I went there. Their stock was a nice selection but also somewhat limited, probably because they were still pretty new. Based on the photos, it looks like they have more than when I first visited. My DD and DSIL will be coming to visit for Christmas, and they want to go visit DSIL's sister, who is kind of over in that area, so I will make a point to stop by My Scrap Haven again then. I will update if they have increased their selection.

it’s not really a LSS, but bluemoonscrapbooking.com is in tucson, AZ and you can go in and shop in their warehouse.
also in mesa, AZ (i think) is bolts & more, which opened after scrapbooks, etc. closed. i’m not 100 percent certain that they have scrap goodies though.

In Corsicana; Tx is Scrappin’ Goodtime. They have a great selection and Susie is a great shop owner. I will be visiting again the first weekend in January, because they also have a retreat with a crop area.

Yesterday I stopped by Tuesday Morning and ended up in a conversation with another shopper. There is another LSS that should be added to the list.
Flossie Scrapper 3509 SW Wilshire Blvd Joshua, TX 76058
(817) 295-7100
She said it was definitely worth the drive.
It would have been a 30 minute drive from the Tuesday Morning where I was, and I just didn't have the time yesterday to make the drive and get back in time for an appointment. I have not been there personally, but she raved about it.

An update on Flossie Scrapper:
The owner sold the store. It is now called Little Gnome Crafts and is in the same location. It is now owned by someone who worked at Flossie Scrapper for a couple of years. I should have asked her name. I finally made it there this afternoon.
It is a good store. It was a bit farther than I expected, and is too far for me to visit more than once a year, but I'm not sorry I made the drive. I just wish I'd had more time to actually shop.
One thing I like to see in a store is whether or not they have appealing projects on display. They definitely did.
I also saw lots of name brands. I don't know if they have all the latest and greatest, because I haven't been staying on top of new products for a long time. This is the first time I have been to any LSS in at least 9 months, and my visits have been very rare in the past couple of years.

I haven't checked this board in some time but noticed that Big Mouth Scrappers in Forney, Tx is not listed. They offer classes, crops, a retreat space for getaways and have a good selection. They bring in some fabulous instructors: they have had Dyan Reavley, Frank Garcia, and Carol Wingert to name a few. Big Mouth ScrappersBig Mouth Scrappers 9688 Helms Trail Forney, Tx 469-728-7237

They have, unfortunately, been keeping the new location a deep, dark secret, but they hinted that it may still be in the Frisco area. They said the parking will be much better. I have not seen them announce the new location on Facebook yet.

Just visited My Scrapbook Haven in its new location. It is inside of Lonestar Mercantile in Allen, Texas. Lonestar Mercantile is home to many, many vendors in about 200 booths selling home decor, clothing, jewelry, etc. There's one checkout counter for all vendors.
My Scrapbook Haven has four booths. The selection is surprisingly good and all very current. Patterned paper, die cuts, dies, washi tape, flowers, stencils, jewels, doodlepops, colored cardstock in 12x12 and 8.5x11, adhesive, and albums and sheet protectors in varying sizes. Some Graphic 45, some Prima, lots of Echo Park and Simple Stories, and the largest, broadest, most complete collection of Doodlebug I've ever seen.
Along with scrapbook lines, she carries dies from Echo Park, Lawn Fawn, Sizzix, and more. She has some Foundations Decor wood products and some Texas-specific rubber stamps. I bought some Carta Bella word dies. Prices are very good - .85 for patterned paper, for example.
The upsides to this location are longer hours and great parking. It's a lot less of a time commitment for the owner, as she only has to come to the booth to restock, and doesn't have to pay someone else to man the store. The downside is there's no personal service. But even without the personal touch, I highly recommend this shop. She offers a truly great selection.

And just five miles down the road, I visited Personal Scrapbook. The shop is a storefront in a strip mall, rather than enclosed within a larger company.
This store has a nice selection of everything - stamps, ink, Nuvo drops, all the cool crafty stuff. Lines carried here include Echo Park, Doodlebug, Authentique, Reminisce, Lawn Fawn, and lines new to me like Blue Fern and Petticoat Parlor. She also carries page kits and die cuts.
Personal Scrapbook has a large workspace for crops and for scrapbookers to come work on their projects. The store offers classes and individualized help. The owner was working when I came in today and she was as nice and as helpful as she could possibly be. I love that personal touch.
So, two recommendations for two Texas scrapbook stores, both in Allen. I hope they both thrive!
