Remember all 'fights' or we would talk about CM vs. everyone else in the scrapping world. If a die hard CM person found out you used non-CM stuff, it was like the end of the world... and they would be dead serious. Made everyone afraid to go to any crop sponsored by CM... I did this photography class in NZ once and we had to introduce ourselves. I was first and said I wanted to learn how to take better photos for my scrapbooking. Then these other 2 ladies introduced themselves and said they scrapbooked too. At lunch they sat beside me and asked 'what I scrapped'. I said I taught classes in the UK and was on DT's etc and they curled up their lips and said, oh, you don't use CM then? I said no, just normal scrap stuff. I shit you not, these women stood up, looked me up and down like I was something they'd scraped off the bottom of their shoe and walked away! Hahaha! CM people, they were a bit weird.

One of my friends went to a CM party way back when. She used some CM things and some non-CM products including adhesive. She said the representative made a comment about what ever it was and my friend replied that it was fine because it was acid free. The rep said "so is peanut butter but you're not going to put it in your album". All righty then. ha!

Remember using the Paperkin people and “customizing “ them to look like the people on the layouts? I have some. I bought them at a scrappy tag sale or somewhere. I can't figure out what to use them on

Remember the MAMBI stick figure kid stickers? Also, remember when the first premium DCWV stacks came out? Before then, the stacks were 180 sheets of thin paper. The premium stacks had 48 sheets of thicker paper, usually with a specialty coating. I think the first release was the Far East stack, Old World and two others, maybe Once Upon A Time? Everyone went crazy over them! And remember when Cricut cartridges were $90?

remembering pretty much everything mentioned and I'll go back a few more years...anyone else remember the CADD page toppers - I remember buying loads of them - I used most of them too...I still have a couple in my stash.
and a bit more recently - Deluxe Designs laser cut 'die cuts' - they were more intricate then other die cuts available at the time.
and PSB's FULL of stickers

Remember the Provo Craft Slab circa 2001? On the old two peas board there was a thread where several peas were laughing about them and of course someone came on the thread and said they still use them. Kind of sucked the humor out of it but the comment was funny it its own way.

How about the chipboard albums that spelled LOVE, FAMILY, and BABY. I think they are from bo bunny. If anyone wants them I'll give them to you. I think I still have a Bo Bunny one somewhere. I also designed for Clear Scraps and STILL have 2 big boxes of them (in our storage unit!) in every word and shape you can imagine. They were super generous in giving us every new product that came out. Unfortunately I have no clue what I'll do with them now.

Who remembers the KMA papers? Kind of a folksy look to them, small patterns often in monochromatic colors. I loved them soo much!

Remember Culuzzles? You had to cut the templets out on a glass mat with a special swivel knife to get the circle, star or whatever shape. And we used them to cut our pictures into shapes! I have old albums with oval shaped pictures in layouts. What were we thinking?

Remember all those "frappuccino" style bottles of prima flowers.
I had to have them all. Dozens of bottles, every color of flowers.
Only to later realize, how much space all those bottles took up. Dumped all the flowers into one big container, and threw away the bottles.

Dumped all the flowers into one big container, and threw away the bottles. Oh man, I remember them costing quite a lot here in the UK and knowing that I was probably going to buy them all, but I couldn't just buy them all at the one time cause that would be a massive outlay. I would just buy one at every crop and then spend ages choosing which colour I would choose to buy next time lol! Then my friend and I wised up and would buy a bottle each and split them

I have old albums with oval shaped pictures in layouts. What were we thinking? Oh I JUST recently (well within the last 2 years...haha) bought a replacement blade for my knife.... I dig those out once and awhile still. But I didn't use a glass mat.. there was a foamy type mat so that the knife would easily swivel.... I don't remember the glass mat part.... Coluzzles was the name.. maybe there was two different things?

Remember buying empty paint cans and decorating them with Chatterbox rooms and other patterned paper? Remember those awful Making Memories paints that you daubed on with sponges making a big mess? Yes!! I think I made a dozen of those one month for various reasons!

Yes...the CM police were so brainwashed. If you dared mention anything non CM...they couldn’t vouch for the integrity of the product...duh. One time I went to a church ladies crop...did not realize it was going to be a CM ambush. So I politely worked on a layout and some diva came up and said...oh, I see you don’t know how to scrapbook. Oh...long forgotten technique. In a Heidi Swapp class we used shaving cream on card stock,

I also have a case of small punches (snowman, Xmas tree, snowflake), never used them and probably never will, but I HAD to have them! My case of mini punches languished in the basement with my dgd’s art supplies for years until it was discovered by our 5 yo dgs the last time he was here. Did he ever punch up a storm! My grandson LOVES playing with my punches, too.

I loved doing circle journals. I have a few of them. Seems like every group had one slacker that would hold up the whole process.

Kind of sucked the humor out of it but the comment was funny it its own way. I won't be offended if you laugh or poke fun. I still have a Hot Off The Press Paper Pizzazz paper pad - Chocolate. I actually just pulled out one of the papers to include in a page kit for my retreat next week. It won't be the base of my page, but will work for an accent. The paper is thin & single-sided, but I still like some of the prints. I did purge the papers I didn't like.

This was before you could buy blank tins- maybe over 10 years ago or so? I still have a couple of those old Slabs. My that was cheap thin paper. I cut a couple of them up and use them for scratch paper. I think I have a life time supply.

I should get by PSB out and use it for something? It's got junk in it!!! I really really liked CADD in the day. Can't believe I was so "cutesy"...but I did have little kids. Also - still have my coluzzles - tags and circles - they haven't been used in year but I know right where they are! Still have Prima bottles too. Pretty much full. LOVED the MAMBI stick figure kids back then. I remember having plastic templates by deluxe cuts for "colour blocking" layouts - you'd trace the rectangles on your paper/photos and then adhere to a background paper? Can't believe I thought I needed templates for that!!! PL scooped up that idea quick!
