I loved the MAMBI lines with the stick figures. My kids were just the perfect ages to use these on pages! In fact, I’m drinking my coffee this morning out of my MAMBI mug! It’s my favorite because it’s just a little bigger than the average mug. I have that mug and love it! I’m a huge MAMBI fan and used tons of the stick people stickers and border stickers. They also make (just saw it in A C Moore last week and was happily surprised) one of my favorite alphabet sticker sheets ever!

how about the 7gypsies printers trays? i had two but sold one at a garage sale. the other still sits on top of my scrappy armoire thing and i was looking at it the other day thinking i should actually do something with it! I have two of those. I put my kids' K-senior pictures in the trays and have them displayed. Love having them all in one place.

Remember all 'fights' or we would talk about CM vs. everyone else in the scrapping world. If a die hard CM person found out you used non-CM stuff, it was like the end of the world... and they would be dead serious. Made everyone afraid to go to any crop sponsored by CM... The only thing I own from them is the corner rounder that I bought for a friend. They did 3 specific things that completely turned me off of them, and I never purchased anything. It's a bummer, because I would kind of like their personal photo trimmer, but I will not be giving them any of my money.

She used to have day long crops and she never bothered me or commented that I used mostly non cm products. I bought a lot of their tools, but never bought an album or papers or stickers from her. Their tools were great quality and I also liked their idea books.

I have met both types of CM reps. I will only purchase from the ones who are not vocal about what products I need to use. I love the rounder, scissors, and trimmer.

Chatterbox luggage.. You could buy the brown set but only the scrapbook stores got the pink ones and it was up to them if they wanted to sell them. Ummm yeah I HAD to have a pink one.. I have it and it sits in the closet.. It's still pretty and not very useful. I had a store back in the day, REALLY wanted the pink ones and not all the stores got them. Only the stores that ordered $$$$$ worth of product at wholesale could get them.

Remember using the Paperkin people and “customizing “ them to look like the people on the layouts? I have some. I bought them at a scrappy tag sale or somewhere. I can't figure out what to use them on I have the entire set, all four collector albums AND the whole set of punches to make the tiny ones!

Anyone remember these? I stalked eBay so I could get them cheap
I loved those too and have a bunch of them that I haven’t been able to find. I’d like to find them so I can scan them in and make them with my electronic cutter! All of that tracing and hand cutting is for the birds. The Pebbles ones were the best, and so cute!

OK...How about decorating your pages with paper piecings??!! They probably go back to scrapbooking's infancy! But I loved them. I still love paper piecing and got quite good at designing them for my cutter so that they’re easy to assemble. Some of the patterns I had back in the day were so horrible to put together! I remember buying a page kit from someone at a convention because the sample layout was SO cute, but once I opened it up the patterns looked like a first grader drew them with a crayon, no lie. It was so bad I never made the page even though I had the perfect photos for it!

Remember using the Paperkin people and “customizing “ them to look like the people on the layouts? I created MANY (TOO MANY--LOL!) layouts and cards those ! I enjoyed customizing them. I only bought a few, then used them as templates (over and over again!!!) to make them myself. One time I made cards for my coworkers with them---they really appreciated how the hair, face, outfit resembled them ---Loved my Coluzzles! ---I was insanely happy to FINALLY get my Becky Higgins book. ---My friend and I were WAY too excited about eyelets! --Ribbon! Always loved it and still use it often! ---I still love and use my "Making Memories" foam letter stamps. ---I'm so glad I didn't go crazy over fibers---I did use them a few times, though. One of my friends had about a million of them---I wonder where they ended up?

I also LOVED it when Lisa Bearnson and David Venable were on QVC----I thought they were SO funny together! This was before DVRs, so I would go to the QVC website to see when they'd be on the air, and set the VCR to record all of them. As I watched, I'd draw some of the layouts they showed for inspiration.

I wouldn’t want to inconvenience you especially since I won’t have the time to do anything with them for a good while anyway. I know I have them here with my stuff somewhere, I just haven’t found which box they’re in. I unpacked most of my scrapbooking stuff a couple years ago but I still have a bunch of boxes of stamps and other random stuff and that’s probably where they are. There are probably only a few out of all the ones I bought that I will actually make if and when I find them.

Oh talking about QVC.. I have every single Lisa Bearnson's idea books.. 1 through 5 I think. I would stalk QVC and Archiver's to get them. I really did (and still do) use them for ideas.
Do ya'll remember Thena? Not sure if she ever made it over to this board... (I'm friends with her on FB) just say "Where's Thena?" and ask for a little poem and bam she would get one right to you. She also had a book I have on my shelf that she signed. Such a sweet lady!

I remember doing a blog post about how much I loved them and they left me a comment, I was buzzing for days over that!!! I was also a huge 7Gypsies fan girl! I loved those self-inking stamps where you could swap out the sayings. But my favorite 7Gypsies product ever was their 6x12 sticker sheets. Each sheet had a separate theme and some of the stickers were super funny. I bought multiple sheets of some of my favorite themes. I had soooo many of them!

This is a great thread! It brings back so many memories. I had a binder full of paper piecing designs. For whatever reason I decided to Ebay it during the height of the piecing craze. It was the funnest thing ever to watch the bidding go nuts the last 10 minutes of the auction. I couldn't believe when I got $90 for that binder! I'm a little embarrassed to admit this...but I still have some paper piecing patterns in a basket. They were my favorite back in the day and never had the heart to get rid of them. Around 2001-2002, I joined a couple of swaps. Some of the pp's I received I used in LOs. The rest of my favorites are stored in a plastic shoebox, including a few I had gotten off Ebay. During the same timeframe, I spent lots of time surfing through paperpiecings on Ebay. I got a Coluzzle probably after its hay-day. I eventually sold it and the templates cuz I never got the hang of it. I still have a couple of color blocking templates. They come in handy occasionally. I made a bunch of cards and matching envelopes to use up one of the stacks I had. In fact, it was probably the only one of its kind that I had. It took me forever to get through it, and I probably still have scraps left from it, filed away somewhere. Does anyone remember K&Co's paper pad collections? I loved making mini-books, smashbooks, etc from them, they were so pretty. I still have a few in my stash

Yes, I remember the ATG craze. I didn't want one but bought one anyway. Now, I just use the tape, lol.
I remember when the Cricut MB was full of all the beautiful ideas and inspiration. It was like every five minutes something beautiful and new. You couldn't keep up.
Remember Cricut girls when we all had to run out and buy "Skittles" and dye them. We had to do it that day, lol. I still have mine and still use them.
OMG!!!! I STILL LOVE PAPER PIECINGS! I am so happy the planner girls are bringing that trend back. New cute patterns. Now, we piece using our machines. I will still paper piece traditionally.
Always to decorative scissors. Mine are in close reach. I still use my Coluzzle. One of my design friends is so jealous of my Coluzzle. Kid you not.
Yes, I remember the CM cultism elitism. First time I ever knew scrapbooking women could be so mean.
I was thinking about Becky's lettering. Do you all remember Dee Gruenig's lettering?
pcCrafter and looking forward to our kits every month. How us girls would wait for new design announcements squealing with excitement over Debbie Mumm and all the beautiful artists.

I counted them and I had 110 sheets! I know OH had no idea he was holding £220 worth of stickers in his hand! I have a few of the stamps too lol!

@giantsfan reminded me: 1. Remember that special Cricut club where the members got special bracelets? 2. Remember when peas were solicited to be some sort of cricut trainers and a bunch flew out to Chicago in a matter of days? I was not interested, but definitely in on the excitement for them. OMG. I was one of the trainers...We were officially called the cricut demo army!

Best remember when thread!! Add me to the list of peas that is going "oh I still have that, and that, and that" LOL
Rebecca Sower paperpiecings were so good and then they had the flat faux paperpiecings - I had to have them all - now I look at them and go "just no"!
I still have the Making Memories paints - I know, they're crap, but I feel like I'm flushing money LOL
Lunch boxes - there used to be a gal on eBay that sold CDs with instructions and color pics for the white lunch boxes; then Basic grey had their lunch boxes. Every so often my hubby finds my stash and goes "so, once again, are you EVER going to do something with these?" They're mine, mine, mine!
Sizzlits - $140 for a single font and I lived for coupons at Beverlys so I could get them. They're in the garage, still in their original boxes. One day I'll have a HUGE craft room and they'll have a place to live. I'm sure of it!!
And all the storage ideas to organize all the stuff we bought - I swear just as much money was spent in eyelet storage that kept changing because someone would build a better mousetrap!
And finally, I was totally a Lisa Bearnson groupie - bought all the books. Sadly, I saw the other day they bought a new house and decided their senior dog and cat didn't "go with it" so they were getting rid of them. Needless to say, she couldn't sell me water in a desert now. I hope her new roof leaks. LOL

What a fun trip down Memory Lane! I have/had so many of these products!
I got rid of my Coluzzle set because I just couldn't get the hang of it. Also, does anybody remember the clear ruler set/system that you used with an Xacto knife to cut mats/photos with... so that you didn't have to use a trimmer? It seems like everybody but me got the hang of those. I tried but never, ever got them to work. I hope somebody at Goodwill squealed when they saw them! Ha!
Did anybody use Mulberry paper in their layouts, around the mid-90's? I LOVED that stuff! I thought I was so artistic to wet the edges and fray it out... oh my gosh, my daughter's toddler album looks like a Mulberry plant exploded...

Then the copyright actions because there were princess tear bears!!! That was such good stuff!! I still have sheets of mulberry paper in one my 12x12 cropper hopper (hunter green no less) hard plastic box that was part of a rolling cart! Tried to sell the 8.5X11 version at my last garage sale along with the hunter green Navigator tote ... yeah, they're still in the garage!
