i must say i was never much a fan of lisa B but wow, the whole pet thing takes my dislike to another level. truly makes me sick to my stomach ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/crying.jpg.gif) I’m honestly not surprised. Back in the heyday of scrapping she was teaching or something at CHA or one of the predecessors of that show for retailers. I was there for my store with another retailer friend who was a *huge* LB fangirl. We ran into her in one of the hallways and she totally dissed my friend when she said hi. I remember thinking that was so rude. How hard is it to be nice, smile and say hi back? Looking at the photos of her million plus dollar house, the first thought that popped into my head was “I wonder how many scrappers paid for that house with their hard earned dollars?”

You know how realtors say to depersonalize your home and take down family photos? She actually has a framed "picture" of Jesus on the console table behind the couch in the family room. So odd...

Speaking of storage, I was reminded of the Target cubes.
Remember those white wire cubes many scrappers bought to make paper shelves? I bought a set but never really ended up using it for paper.

That house is humonguous. I saw two laundry rooms. It was fun to see her scrapbooking rooms. Thanks for the link. It is HUGE... I personally love it.. not because LB owned it.. I just like the style.. but WAY to big for 3.5 people in our house. I think I saw two kitchens?? Maybe one is a bar type area.. ya know for all her drinking.. lol.. just kidding. I did like LB back in the day so it saddens me about the pets.. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg)

Chatterbox luggage.. You could buy the brown set but only the scrapbook stores got the pink ones and it was up to them if they wanted to sell them. Ummm yeah I HAD to have a pink one.. I have it and it sits in the closet.. It's still pretty and not very useful. I also have a case of small punches (snowman, Xmas tree, snowflake), never used them and probably never will, but I HAD to have them! My case of mini punches languished in the basement with my dgd’s art supplies for years until it was discovered by our 5 yo dgs the last time he was here. Did he ever punch up a storm! that sounds so cute ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I bet that kept them entertained for some time

OK...How about decorating your pages with paper piecings??!! They probably go back to scrapbooking's infancy! But I loved them. I just found my paper piecing binder.. There has to be 500 of them in there!! I can vaguely remember copying them from a friend and had unlimited copying access. I haven't even opened it up.... I saw the label and thought where did this come from? LOL... Maybe I will just do one for fun!!.. Actually one of my favorite layouts is with an adorable bear that I pieced together.. HA.. that is quite a few ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) now you can use them ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Remember Culuzzles? You had to cut the templets out on a glass mat with a special swivel knife to get the circle, star or whatever shape. And we used them to cut our pictures into shapes! I have old albums with oval shaped pictures in layouts. What were we thinking? I used to use some of those Coluzzles too ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) :)I thought it was great ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Remember all those "frappuccino" style bottles of prima flowers. I had to have them all. Dozens of bottles, every color of flowers. Only to later realize, how much space all those bottles took up. Dumped all the flowers into one big container, and threw away the bottles. I remember those ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I always loved them ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

remembering pretty much everything mentioned and I'll go back a few more years...anyone else remember the CADD page toppers - I remember buying loads of them - I used most of them too...I still have a couple in my stash. and a bit more recently - Deluxe Designs laser cut 'die cuts' - they were more intricate then other die cuts available at the time. and PSB's FULL of stickers Oh yes, this! I should get by PSB out and use it for something? It's got junk in it!!! I really really liked CADD in the day. Can't believe I was so "cutesy"...but I did have little kids. Also - still have my coluzzles - tags and circles - they haven't been used in year but I know right where they are! Still have Prima bottles too. Pretty much full. LOVED the MAMBI stick figure kids back then. I remember having plastic templates by deluxe cuts for "colour blocking" layouts - you'd trace the rectangles on your paper/photos and then adhere to a background paper? Can't believe I thought I needed templates for that!!! PL scooped up that idea quick! I had a bunch of those templates too ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I thought they were so cool ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

I also LOVED it when Lisa Bearnson and David Venable were on QVC----I thought they were SO funny together! This was before DVRs, so I would go to the QVC website to see when they'd be on the air, and set the VCR to record all of them. As I watched, I'd draw some of the layouts they showed for inspiration. I always loved watching them too ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) I loved buying stuff there too ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

Oh talking about QVC.. I have every single Lisa Bearnson's idea books.. 1 through 5 I think. I would stalk QVC and Archiver's to get them. I really did (and still do) use them for ideas. Do ya'll remember Thena? Not sure if she ever made it over to this board... (I'm friends with her on FB) just say "Where's Thena?" and ask for a little poem and bam she would get one right to you. She also had a book I have on my shelf that she signed. Such a sweet lady! What’s Thena doing these days? Tell her we miss her. somebody just posted about her in another thread ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) she is ok & on FB

@giantsfan reminded me: 1. Remember that special Cricut club where the members got special bracelets? 2. Remember when peas were solicited to be some sort of cricut trainers and a bunch flew out to Chicago in a matter of days? I was not interested, but definitely in on the excitement for them. OMG. I was one of the trainers...We were officially called the cricut demo army! @ihavetoomuchstuff - I too was one of the Chicago Peas that went for Cricut training! We had such a good time during that long weekend! FurryP - Amd I was also a Cricut Circle member! I have/had about 98% of everything that has been mentioned on this thread and still have most of it, sad to say, but much of it is put away so I never think about it - that is until a thread like this and then I realized that I must get those things out and either use them or sell them! It’s been so much fun reading this!

This thread brought back so many great memories of the Heyday of scrapbooking... I remember when the classes for CKC would open up and you had to be online refreshing your page because they would sell out so quickly.. I remember going to CKC for 2 days because there were so many booths and great classes and giveaways.. The smell inside the convention of all the yummy new paper.. The Embellish It booth was always my favorite.. I had to buy the complete collections of Basic Grey... lol.. I would go every year with my friend and it was truly amazing~ Those were the best days of scapbooking~

Letter stickers and idea books were my weaknesses. I came to the current scrapbook phase via Creative Memories a little late in life (scrapped differently as a kid/teen) and so I stalked eBay for everything I could get my hands on. I bought tons of idea books and letter stickers in all colors, fonts and sizes. Stickers had to be purchased by twos in case I need more than what was on one sheet.
You do realize that what we use today is going to be Remember When before we know it, right!

I am attempting to organize my massive stacks of paper by theme, rainbow and/or manufacturer. My goodness, who bought all this!!!![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) Anyway, I was going down memory lane... Arctic Frog?, Mustard Moon, Two Busy Moms, KMA, Scenic Route, Junkitz, Chatterbox. It makes me sad that all these companies are gone, but pretty darn happy I have all this paper!

Mustard Moon - oh, my gosh, I LOVED those papers back in the day! I still have a few 8-1/2 x 11 pages in my stash.
I can remember poring through KMA's catalogues. I LOVED them! (Aren't they scrapbook.com now)?

Speaking of storage, I was reminded of the Target cubes. Remember those white wire cubes many scrappers bought to make paper shelves? I bought a set but never really ended up using it for paper. They weren’t very good for paper storage. You had do put something under the paper or the sheets would get caught in the wires. I did however repurpose those shelves. They are great to put in closets to use as shelves. Ironically they’re also good to hold the Cropper Hopper paper holders.
