I love this trip down memory lane!
I got into scrapbooking through a CM party way back in 1996 but didn't have any bad experiences with it. I went to CM hosted crops regularly and always had non CM albums and other stuff, no one ever said a word. Their tools were my favorite, though like others I regret cutting my pics into strange shapes using their cutting system.
I miss the days of crops every weekend (I'm a digital scrapper now so no need anymore even if they had them)
I remember the big scrapbook store in my are had Mrs Grossmans sticker rolls on the wall and you could just get a single or few.
Cosmo Cricket Snorkel was my all time favorite line - thankfully SnapClickSupply has it digitally so I am able to use it now.

I still use my wire cube tower. I don't remember where I got them but I have brackets on the sides that hold the "shelves". They slide in and out. I love my tower.

stinkerbelle those LO's have stood the test of time, they're great! And Scriptina *shudder* it was such an awful font for kerning, some words would just look terrible in it! But if you could adjust the space between the letters yourself you could make it look acceptable.

I loved mulberry paper. I wish I still had some I came across some recently. If you like I will relocate it and send it to you.

gramma I just uncovered my wire cubes in the garage. I need to find my plastic ties and get this back into use. Thanks for the reminder.

ha remember the font scriptina and how it was used EVERYWHERE? That reminds me. Remember the Pea that made fonts for peas? Peas would send her handwritten letter samples, and she made them into fonts. She still had the list on her blog the last time i looked, but I haven't checked recently. Here she is: Kevin and Amandaand the fonts : Fonts for Peas
