I’m excited that I was able to shop about 2/3 of this from my closet. I’m subbing dark purple for the burgundy elements and changing up a few other things.

I have quite a few things in my closet already. Need to get a chambray shirt (not sure if this will look good on me or not though); gray jeans (been looking for about 9 months now); and several other things. I'm actually working on it now....I have LOFT, JCP, Kohls, Maurices, and Old Navy windows all open on my laptop.

I was pleasantly surprised by how many pieces I already have. Still not feeling the gingham, but saw a cute black and white plaid at Gap that might work. Need to figure out a floral top that I like too. I did pick up the scarf she is styling at Banana Republic and a striped top too. Going to sit down tonight and really look closer to see what I “need” to fill in any holes. I was kind of surprised by how many Target and Amazon items she linked this go round. It seemed a lot heavier on Loft and JCrew the past two capsules.

I’m in - first timer. May I ask why people on the FB group seem to be concerned with getting exact(ish) pieces when the whole challenge is written so generally? If you don’t like the suggested dress, buy a different one, no? Or no dress - isn’t that kind of the beauty of the challenge? My solid shirts won’t be teal and burgundy, my puffer jacket is grey and I, for one, won't be buying new shoes - no leopard, no boots, no.

I’m quite boring when it comes to shoes - Blundstone, Birks, Converse.

I'm intrigued by this but I gotta say the $40 price tag is holding me back a bit. Anyhow, would it be worth it for a SAHM? Or will I revert back to my comfortable jeans and an oversized hoodie?

I would love to do it but I did the summer challenge - bought a bunch of stuff and barely followed the outfits or wore it

I don’t see folks on the group worried about getting g the exact pieces, but wanting to get pieces that will coordinate with the pieces suggested or what’s already in their closet. You’ll see lots of subs and flips when the challenge starts.

Also...a lot of us come to the challenge fashion challenged...we need or like to follow the “recipe”. :-)

I am a SAHM too and still wear my yoga pants and comfy clothes a lot... but I loved the spring capsule and having some nice “put together” looks for when I had events to go to at school or got to go out sans kids. I was in a rut for sure and needed the inspiration for mixing colors/patterns, accessorizing, etc.
