Oh well, if you say so it must be true. In other words, you won't agree with me, not because what I'm saying isn't true but because you just won't agree with me no matter what. Typical. Well, not exactly. I gave you my answer. You told me that wasn't accurate and proceeded to try and tell me what my answer should have been. Typical. Sayonara.

Well, duh. However, I have always had a very close relationship with all three of my girls and I'mm confident they would have told me; especially my youngest. I have two friends who did not tell their moms and they both were very close to their moms. They didn't want her to see them differently. I had a physical attack from a guy and I fought back and hurt him. I never told my mom. I could not have been closer, but I didn't want her to worry about me in college. Dumbest thing I ever did was not talk to the DA about him when he was being prosecuted for a different assault. I never told my mom about my assault, either. Like you, I didn't want to worry her. There are many reasons girls and women don't report immediately. It makes me sick that victims are forced to explain this to people who are quick to judge their actions. In a way, I'm glad for people who will never understand the shame and horror that exist in the aftermath of an assault. It's a terrible thing that I would not wish on anyone. It's galling to read "but what about the poor men" over and over and over. What about the women whose bodies and minds will never be the same again? What about us?

she does say she became the victim of one of the gang rapes where Kavanaugh and Judge were present. Does that mean they both did rape her, along with the other guys? It could be taken either way, I would think. The most important statement is this one, I think: "I am aware of other witnesses that can attest to the truthfulness of EACH of the statements above." On CNN they just reported that she does not claim that Judge and Kavanaugh raped her, but stated that they were present and witnessed her rape by others. CNN has wanted to vet the claims in the statement before reporting them, and it has made it somewhat confusing as more and more of what is in the document continues to be revealed. (I’m fine with them taking their time, but it is making it more confusing to figure out what is exactly being charged)

Oh, btw, there is absolutely no reason that this shouldn’t be turned over to the FBI at this point for a thorough investigation.
Kavanaugh’s lawyer whining that Judge didn’t want to have to be part of an investigation is the stupidest argument yet - because Kavanaugh’s self-admitted drinking buddy doesn’t want to have to relive his poor choices, the country should be denied a chance to find out the truth?

I think that actually helps provide some insight into why he sexually assaulted someone. He was a virgin who wasn't getting anywhere with the "normal" approach so decided to more aggressively achieve his goals He's been investigated, tried and convicted already? I see no other reason you would write it as fact.

That's not an answer. Of course you'd want to get to the truth. But up until the "truth" was established, would you believe your son when he said he didn't do it or the woman who said he did? It's rhetorical because if you or anyone else here claims they'd believe the accuser, I'd say bullsh*t. And the reason no one here is responding to my question is because they know damn well they'd believe their son and not the accuser. Nobody is asking Kavanaugh's mom to come forward and say she doesn't believe him. What on earth is your point? The point was very clear.

But then your rip apart at people, using personal things that they say to attack them. Fuck yeah, you're Lauren. And you're horrible.

We like to think that we all do a great job of raising our children to be honest, kind, helpful, thoughtful etc. but let’s face it. Those @sshole kids have to come from somewhere. If someone would have accused certain family members of mine who I know to be creepy misogynistic pigs I would absolutely believe it, whereas if they accused certain other family members, no way.

So, in effect, you don't always believe the allegation just because a woman makes it? So why do so many insist Kavenaugh is guilty even when the people who know him best are saying "no way"?

You still don't seem to understand that sexual abuse isn't some fun bandwagon to jump on. It destroys a lot of things. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, not even a sad old hag like you. You are miserable enough as it us. You are seriously just an awful, miserable piece of work. Also, I'm not black. Im a "spic", remember? A successful, happily married brown lady with one white Male husband and two beautiful and very caucasian looking sons. All of whom I adore. And I'm not sure where I've ver claimed I'm oppressed. In fact, I have always said this is the greatest country on earth. A spic like my dad can come here, become an American, and raise educated, intelligent, productive citizens. And someone like you can get a law degree from whatever third tier law school you attended. God bless America! Can't wait for you to start ignoring me.

The other 2%, of course, being personal attacks based on dead children/parents, race and gender.

I'm sorry for what you went through. As for "you think you know, but you don't", believe me, I understand. I go through people thinking they know who I am here every day. Did you really just compare being violently assaulted and then attacked in court, to being called out for being your patently awful self? artgirl1 is the one that did that when she took #notLauren 's line about calling her someone she is not and equated it to being sexually assaulted.
