I didn't pick a winner, but thought Michelle would based on how it was edited. I have never paid close attention before but were 3 out of the 4 left handed? Irina being the righty.

I absolutely HATED Dmitry's collection. It was all 80s gone bad. All that last dress needed was a little skirt to turn it into a skating outfit. What was so special about those black pants? So they had a sheer cut-out stripe; big deal. He's been making cut-outs on all his outfits this season. I still can't believe he was in the top 2.
I would have been happy with either Irina or Biddel for the win. Michelle third. And Dmitry should have been sent home weeks ago. Anthony Ryan should have been there instead.

I feel like they all thought they were winning.
I loved Biddell’s cork looks but the others not so much.
I liked Michelle’s except the cold shoulder look. I have a black dress that’s the same shape as her 1st look-peach dress
Dimitry’s sewing skills are great but I didn’t love his looks
Irina’s was ok. Maybe different colored fabrics.

I’m so surprised at how many of you loved Biddell and hated Michelle, because I felt exactly the opposite. The thought Biddells looks were not good at all. The only one I liked was the one with the print pants and the top with the really long sleeves. Everything else was blech. Some of Irina’s stuff was kind of cool, but overall not that exciting. I loved Michelle’s collection. A few of the middle pieces weren’t that exciting but loved the beginning and ending pieces. I like Dmitry’s stuff as well. I would have rated them in theexactorder the judges did.
I will admit that I absolutely cannot stand Irina. I have always found her catty, conceited and just all around unpleasant. But, I’ve generally loved her clothes and I can’t deny that. I didn’t feel that as much during the finale.
Anyway, I decided to have ny hubby look at the final collections. He’s very artistic with a great eye. He used to watch PR with me years ago but sort of fell out of it. I like to get his opinion without being clouded by personal opinions. So he watched it and immediately said “meh” when he saw Biddell and Irene. As soon as Micelles collection came out, he said “This is the best one so far”.” He ended up liking Dmitry and Michelle’s collection the most, but he thought Dmitry’s was the best overall.

he thought Dmitry’s was the best overall. And I thought it was so, so ugly. Goes to show how "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Biddell - I liked what Biddell showed and felt if he had more time the looks would have been more cohesive but I enjoyed his collection and thought it was fun, quirky and showed well on the runway.
Irina - I liked Irina's concept of Geometry. Maybe the fabric she selected was her downfall b/c it did look heavy and stiff except for the black lace one. I also didn't understand all the raves for her white lace outfit. It harkened "beach cover-up" material to me...
Dimitry - I liked Dimitry's the least because it didn't seem all that original or exciting. More cutouts, solid colors, standard shapes/silhouettes... Although the red cutout jacket was an impressive design. And his sewing/tailoring skills are above and beyond. Loved his lace dress at the end but it didn't look finished -- like he ran out of time or material...
Michelle - I liked Michelle's use of color and fabrics. She amazed me the most with her collection. It looked luxurious and I would want to wear more things from her collection than any of the others.
So overall I think all 4 designers pulled together an impressive final collection, nothing to be ashamed about from any of the four. My top two were Michelle (what I'd want to wear) and Biddell (for originality) followed by Irina (great concept) and then sadly Dimitry's (appeals to an older clientele).
Glad this season was shown even if it was shown well over a year after it was filmed. Kudos to all of the final four!

I wanted Dmitry to win. Again. I think this is the first time he competed and didn't win? Yep. And this season was the only time he'd ever been in the bottom 2.

So Michelle had 2 good pieces. Whoopie..
Dimitry had the most cohesive collection and Biddell was so unique.
I hate how the judges scream..we have to look at the whole season " last episode when Michelle and dimitry were bottom and then in the finale it was " we can only judge this collection"
So fixed lol.

Something Michelle said last night got me thinking; she said her and her husband were struggling. She had multiple jobs and she needed the win to keep her in fashion.
So.....winning her season obviously didn't help her succeed in the fashion business. Just like winning American Idol doesn't guarantee a singing career. It must be such a let down and demoralizing. Since the show was taped over 18 months ago, I wonder if this win made a real difference this time around.

That would not be easy. edit-maybe not keep struggling but keep up the illusion that she was struggling.

Well I just finished watching and I personally thought the judges got it right. Out of the 4 left I loved Michelle's collection.

I knew the minute Michelle said she was struggling financially that she was the winner. This exact thing made me NOT want her to win. She's been on the show twice already and she's won once...yet in 10 years she still hasn't managed to turn that into any sort of a financially viable business for herself. People obviously don't like her work enough to buy her clothes...so it's clear that "fashion" isn't her thing. She'd probably do a lot better rebranding herself as some sort of artist. Find a medium that works for her and make jewellery, or wall art or whatever. I also just don't like Michelle, she's very fake, she tries to project this fun quirky persona, that never rings true and you can tell she's just a cold bitch underneath it all. I suspect that also has something to do with her lack of success in the fashion world. I actually didn't like any of the collections, but I did think based on what they were saying that Dmitry was the winner...and so did he obviously! If they hadn't had that freaky-deaky guest judge who clearly pushed for Michelle, then I think Dmitry would have won. Irena's as was bulky and dull, and I thought that Biddell had interesting fabrics, but there was nothing new in his designs. If I had to put them in order, I would have had Dmitry, Biddell, Michelle, Irena
