Yeah, I'm sure if a Muslim terrorist had shot up 2 evangelical churches, Trump would forebear to mention his name or use the footage to incite. Right?!?! RIGHT!?!? And I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that he mentioned Trump in his manifesto. Yep and leave it to his dad to trot out props to make his announcement today. trumps have absolutely no shame. they are ugly nasty people

Why is it that the people to our south must be stopped because there might be a bad person in there, but there is no rise in white-nationalist violence?
He's a racist, unintelligent, asshole

“Could have” and “may.” While I would not be a bit surprised if either of these statements are true, I wish Schiff wouldn’t say anything until he could make a more concrete statement. There are plenty of bad things Trump is doing that are provable right now that need attention.

Wtf? I saw a meme that said something about Trump supporters being a protected class in Utah so I had to search. I found this: www.sltrib.com/news/politics/2019/03/13/utah-house-passes-bill/Sounded great until this bit: "Before passing the bill, the House adopted an amendment that added “political expression” to the list of categories that would be protected by the updated hate crimes statue. Rep. Karianne Lisonbee tearfully spoke in favor of adding political speech as a protected class, saying she’s received death threats since she made widely criticized changes to a bill that sought to ban conversion therapy for minors. “I’ve been targeted,” Lisonbee, R-Clearfield, said." Sorry, I cannot quote on my phone

Jon Favreau...
”I would really like to hear our presidential candidates speak at length about the rise of white nationalism and extremism at home and abroad.”
For the less then informed average voter this is a big snore. Because it does not affect them directly. But sure go for it.
Think back to how much time Hillary talked about how unfit trump was. And let’s don’t forget “deplorables” the name Hillary called the white nationalist branch of trump supporters.

What, NO more wall?!?!?! Trump says there's nothing 'as good as' dogs at borderBY TAL AXELROD - 03/15/19 07:46 PM EDT President Trump said Friday his administration is directing more drug-sniffing dogs to join officials at the border with Mexico, touting the animals' effectiveness in combating illicit drugs flowing into the United States. "They make pretty incredible new equipment for drug detection where you can find out what’s in the wheel of a car ... where it is in the engine, where it is in the hubcaps," Trump said during an Oval Office event focused on border security. “Also, we’re getting dogs. More dogs, believe it or not. I still say — is that still true? There’s nothing [that] replaces a good dog. Is that right?” he said, turning to law enforcement officials in the room. “So, we’re spending hundreds of millions of dollars on equipment, but I will say this: It’s not as good as the dogs,” he said. “So you’re going to have the best equipment, but we’re getting a lot of dogs for the various entry points also.” ** More at link: thehill.com/homenews/administration/434341-trump-says-theres-nothing-as-good-as-the-dog-at-border-to-preventComments from a person who sees no use for pets! Trump supporters didn’t read the reports - they take his word for it in his tweets. No matter how many lies he spews they just copy & re-spew them My guess trump didn’t read the transcripts either. He is just repeating what he hears on Fox News. trump doesn’t have the attention span to read the transcripts. It’s painfully obvious, when he’s “explaining “ things to the masses, that things have been explained to him on a very simplistic level. It’s like regurgitated preschool speak.

A wall can only have holes cut in it & tunnels dug under it. It can’t move or react.

Trump to Breitbart on how the left plays tough: "I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump — I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point and then it would be very bad, very bad." Is he really threatening us with a civil war if he is not re-elected ? It doesn’t even make sense. What is the “certain point”? The way I see it ,if he does not get reelected or if the Democrats try to impeach him ...it’s a threat again the rule of law and frankly all of us who are not his base.

linkGreg Sargent... “New reports indicate Trump was deeply involved in browbeating GOP Senators into supporting his national emergency. He threatened to unleash the wrath of his voters. He said their vote was all about him. But reality ended up mattering more. My new piece:” From his column.. “Trump rages as fresh signs of his weakness emerge””There is probably no better way to demonstrate one’s manly strength and control than firing off a tweet in capital letters. So it is that, when a dozen GOP senators defied President Trump’s orders and voted to terminate his declaration of a national emergency, his powerful Twitter thumbs sprang into action: “VETO!” The thrilling message to his supporters: Trump’s got this. He’s totally in command of the situation. But we are now learning new details about just how personally involved Trump was in trying to prevent defections among GOP senators. It turns out Trump aggressively sought to make this vote all about himself — frequently warning that he would unleash the cult-like wrath of his voters if the Senate didn’t do his bidding — and raged as that effort failed. What makes this so odd is that even though the Senate and House have now voted to terminate Trump’s national emergency, he actually can veto the measure, and his emergency will proceed. So why the histrionics? One possible answer is that, for Trump, even this interim loss represented an unacceptable display of weakness — with ominous portents for the future.”

Feeling a little disappointed in myself that I'm now more excited about Buttegieg and Beto than I am about any of the women in the race. There is a lot of time though to get to know all of the candidates. I don’t think you should be disappointed in yourself for that. There is absolutely no good in voting for the women candidates just because they are women. They should get your vote if they align with your stances on issues and you believe that they can do the best job running the country. If there is a man who can do a better job, vote for him! The best candidate should win the primary, independent of their gender. Honestly? I'll go even further. There is only one criteria that people should weigh in choosing the Democratic candidate: who can beat Trump? Who can win over Republicans who the Trump cult would call RINOs? That is the only thing that matters in 2020.

Here is another example why I like these guys. Obviously it needs more work but, IMO, it has identified a lot of the challenges both workers and employers are facing. “Democrat Coalition Economic Opportunity Agenda”CLOSING THE SKILLS ANDOPPORTUNITY GAPS“The nature of work and the economy is changing. New jobs are being created, triggering a demand for tech skills across industries and disrupting and shrinking traditional middle-skill jobs. Technology matters more than ever. Many employers are unable to find enough qualified candidates to fill positions in emerging and growing industries. Key drivers of this disparity are both the skills gap and the opportunity gap. The New Democrat Coalition has identified several key challenges that are widening the skills and opportunities gaps. “KEY CHALLENGES WIDENING THE SKILLS AND OPPORTUNITIES GAPS” Workers in certain industries and segments of the workforce are more vulnerable to disruption from technology. Many businesses are having difficulty finding qualified workers. Existing models of education are not meeting the needs of modern students and workers. “PRINCIPLES FOR EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CHANGING ECONOMY”
Give every American access to the tools to succeed in the 21st century economy Remove obstacles for Americans to access middle-skill jobs and close the opportunity gap Create a culture of lifelong learning and make it easier for workers to invest in their future “POLICY ACTION PLAN TO GIVE AMERICANS THE TOOLS TO COMPETE IN THE CHANGING ECONOMY”
Give every American access to the tools to succeed in the 21st century economy • Provide students and workers with universal basic skills • Invest in STEM education and “ soft skills” • Provide work-based learning during high school • Invest in and modernize career training programs at the federal, state, and local levels • Reorient postsecondary education to prepare workers with career- ready skills; • Invest in apprenticeships Remove obstacles for Americans to access middle-skill jobs and close the opportunity gap • Expand competency-based hiring • Accelerate the deployment of nationally-recognized credentialing standards • Expand the pool of eligible workers: Provide a fresh start and value potential; Protect worker’s ability to earn; Enable access to work Create a culture of lifelong learning and make it easier for Americans to invest in their future • Reform federal worker dislocation programs • Make upskilling and going back to school easier • Incentivize employers to invest in worker upskilling • Provide more financial aid for education for students and workers • Support and encourage new ways to finance education • Make higher education more effective and accountable Pretty good. Still not sure I could get fully behind it. No blunt acknowledgement that climate change is the greatest crisis facing the country and all decisions must be filtered through addressing it.
