This is from the radio yesterday and very entertaining.. lol
So I had Shaun Cassidy, then moved onto Rick Springfield (obviously).. and honestly I don't remember any others although I was a sucker for cute animals.. so I am sure I had some of those hanging up.
We moved tons of times so my poster collection was not that big. I kinda remember my sister had a HUGE one of The Cure in her room.. I think it was floor to ceiling or close to it. I am 100% sure she still has it and might even had it framed. LOL..

DH and i were just talking about this the other day. i had a poster of Duran Duran. that was pretty much it. my best friend was a boy and he had Depeche Mode and AC/DC on his walls. my brother had Pat Benetar. i can't remember what my sister had. i was off to college by the time she our room to herself.

I had Shaun as well! I think I also had one of him and Parker Stevenson as The Hardy Boys.
My folks weren't much on hanging posters on the wall, so mine were on the inside of my closet door. LOL

As a preteen, I had the poster from Love Story hanging on my wall. It was a black and white picture of Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw and said "Love Means Never Having to Say You Are Sorry."

Pretty in Pink movie poster, Lost Boys movie poster, James Dean Rob Lowe in a white tank top and his hand on his stomach, Johnny Depp from 21 Jump Street and numerous photos of Corey Hart and Duran Duran. My grandma would sleep in my room when she visited and I remember her asking my if it gave me the creeps to have all those men staring at me all night while I was sleeping. |

Osmond posters covered my teenaged bedroom walls! DH's cousin has been OBSESSED with the osmonds she was in her teens! she follows them on FB and posts comments like she knows them personally. She goes to all of Donny and Marie's concerts and their brothers's concert cruises. it's the funniest thing to see from an almost 60 year old woman. |

I had the orange and black Endless Summer poster. I also had a yellow and black blacklight poster but I forget what it said - possibly it was the one about if you love something let it go. I don't exactly recall but I have photos so I may go look if I remember.
At one point I had the walls plastered with David Cassidy posters from the teen magazines. I had a fabulous Romeo and Juliet poster that I kept for years and lost track of somewhere along the way. |

I was also a theater nerd so I had a Nicholas Nickleby poster and a poster from the Meryl Streep/Raul Julia “Taming of the Shrew” in Central Park.

New Kids on the block decorated my entire room. I had sheets, curtains, comforter, posters & anything else you could imagine. Donnie was my favorite. Once I got into high school I no longer had posters on the wall or room decorated.

I had a poster of Charlie Brown and his kite tangled in a tree. It said “Good humor makes all things tolerable“. I had a frame for it when I moved out. I don’t have it anymore.

Nothing, my parents wouldn’t let me hang anything on my walls. I think I may have put a poster on my inside door, but I can’t remember who/what it was. If I had been allowed, it would have been Bobby Shermsan, David Cassidy, Donny Osmond & Barry Willams. Oh, and The Beach Boys.
