What fun or unique hobbies, skills or talents do you have? Are you an expert in something unusual or fun? Any cool talents?
What about your partner?
I bet we've got some cool stuff collectively.
I'm the go-to adventure and vacation planner, I love finding deals and am good at finding off the beaten path tours and stops and planning fun days. This also crosses over into party and event planning.
I'm the extended families and friends cocktail designer, I do themed cocktails for parties, seasonal cocktails for holidays and signature cocktails for weddings and events. DH and I don't drink much but we have a blast infusing spirits.
My dream jobs are flight attendant, event planner and bartender..all at the same time.
DH seems to know everything about cars, cigars, bourbon and guns. He sounds like he is actually from here. Ha.
What about you?

I'm a go to person at work for MS Excel questions - I would consider my skills advanced.
In my personal life, I am a go-to person for craft questions (crochet, knit, yarn, etc), since I have been crafty all my life.
Your dream job sounds awesome!

I'm the go to for blood pathology. It seems like any time that one of my friends or family gets labwork done, they call me to interpret the results. I'm also a chicken whisperer I guess because whenever the neighbors' chickens get out I get called to herd them back home. I am the only one fluent in chicken in my neighborhood.

My husband knows just about everything there is to know about freshwater fishing. It’s been his passion since childhood. He’s also a bit of a local expert on baseball and softball bats. He can spot a bat brand and size from a mile away, and is someone people go to when their kid is looking for a new bat.
I’m pretty knowledgeable about plants and gardening. Expert might be a stretch, but I definitely know more than most of my friends.

I had a home daycare for 15 years. I potty trained a bunch of kids. There is no magic involved, just consistency. But I have many new toddler moms come to me for advice.

I am ROFL at @bonanza being the chicken whisperer!
My area of expertise seems to be mental health. I am very open about mine and my kids struggles with mental illness and I've been treated now for 17 years. People often reach out to me when there is a new diagnosis. I am happy to lend my support.

Because I am pretty much the only scrapbooker I know, I've had a lot of friends, relatives and co-workers come to me with beginner's questions. Everything from where to start, what to use and where to shop. I am mostly a cardmaker, with quite a bit of equipment most non-scrapbookers don't even know exist.
And I can find anyone online. At my job we occasionally have to find people to settle/close accounts. Sometimes they have been deceased for a while, which means we have to find relatives. A lot of elderly people don't have an online presence, so younger relatives are easier to find. I apparantly have super sleuthing skills, and people from several departments know that if *I* can't find them, they can't be found. Not very useful in the real world though 😄
I also know a lot about serial killers and true crime. But funny how nobody seems to have questions about that, so my wealth of knowledge in that department is unknown to most.

Where anything and everything is around here! We have lived in this house almost 6 years and still no one knows where we keep things. I have the pantry labeled and still have to guide them, "It's on the bottom shelf, right side, by the cans of tomatoes..."
I like to think I'm a good listener, but have been recently told by my kids that I ask too many questions! Trying to do better on that.
Just while I was typing this dd asked where the parmesan cheese was in the fridge! I'm an expert locator! 😀

Im the go-to person for anything 'research related' - I can find people, cases, etc and it seems others always come to me for help. I am also the go-to person for decor help.
My husband is the go-to person for anything car, mechanical or building systems related.

Me- bulletjournaling, Tarot, and I end up editing all kinds of things for my friends because I was an English teacher my husband- IT stuff, and of all things, vaping. He even has a You Tube channel for vaping. I try to ignore this weirdness. I believe that! There's a lot of techy type things regarding vaping, especially if you're into mods.
At work, I seem to be the go-to person for everything related to our contract, whether it's my area of expertise or not. Guess that's what happens when you've been doing your job for a long time and have lasted through various contracts AND have 30 years out there overall - I know a lot of people and probably understand how our network is configured more than some of the network folks lol!
Work and home: fountain of knowledge, even if it's useless. Lots of history, science, tech, language crap floating around in my head that keeps trying to push out (unsuccessfully) things like the Brady Bunch theme and random movie quotes. I suppose that weird retention is why I was on the College Bowl team when I was in school.

Work - used to be the go to person for anything analytical: pivot tables, excel, graphs, reports etc. but now I’m on a more analytical team focusing on sas and sql so now people come to me more for clinical questions.
Personal - local hikes, Yosemite, plants, finding good novels, Ethiopian food (lol), cooking - that’s about it

All things writing (your personal proofreader here!) and classroom management.
ETA I forgot the partner part. DH's superpowers have to do with technology and student government law.

Cool, probably not, but most of my friends are still teaching and they love it when I write their curriculum for them. They can sit and brainstorm and come up with a plan, but they don't feel it has enough pizzaz or oomph to grab the kids' attentions. I am completely in the middle of left/right brained and can turn that right brain on quickly. I suppose it also helps that I had an entire 15 years of teaching in before all of the standardized national tests took place and we could do fun things to teach our kids the objectives.
My friends also use me for scrapbook inspiration. I just like to see new stuff and am happy to pass along the ideas.

All things writing (your personal proofreader here!) and classroom management. My principal always said I should write a book on it. When we read Harry Wong's book, The First Days of School, she told me I already did most of those things. I would also say that a majority of it is just building relationships with kids and high expectations. The rest comes so much faster when you have those two things. Have you read Teach Like a Champion? So many good ideas in that book that aren't about management, but when the kids are doing them, you don't need a lot of management.
