I'm hoping to pick up a laptop, mine just bit the dust. Has anyone else gotten lucky with laptops on Prime day? Also maybe some books, games, and maybe a few Christmas presents.

Never shopped on Prime day, going to check it out this time. Is it worth it?

The only thing I really want is a crock pot. A decent one, not a cheap one. And I'd like a couple of new sets of sheets, queen size. Ours are SO old and I recently retired one set because I used the bottom sheet as a painting cloth.

They have a great sale on both of those things going on right now (ends today) and as of yesterday, had 10% ebates!

Reminder. Is you have an Amazon credit card (I have one that I only use for my Amazon purchases) and are a prime member you’ll get 6% back on purchases on Monday and Tuesday. So even if what you need isn’t on sale, at least you’ll get extra rewards.

I LOVE my Ninja slow cooker. The stove top setting is great for searing meat. I don't know if there's a deal on it tomorrow though. Ninja Multi Cooker

I'm needing ink for my inkjet printer and always looking for a good deal on toner for our laser printer. I have a new cover for my iPad in my shopping cart but will look to see if I can find a cute one even less expensive. I am also looking for a new dog bed and as always, toys for my dogs and cats. LOL

I was hoping the Show5 would be on sale, but it doesn’t appear to be.
Is the Ring doorbell worth getting?

I wish Amazon would do a deal on price for a year with just shopping benefits, I didn`t use any of the extras and decided not to renew Prime this year.

I was hoping the Show5 would be on sale, but it doesn’t appear to be. Is the Ring doorbell worth getting? I’m guessing that with such a low price point (so much less than the Spot, even) and that it is new, they won’t discount the Show 5 beyond the buy 2 deal. My husband used the gift card I gave him for Father’s Day and bought one when it came out and loves it.

Glad to hear positive reviews though!

This was $29.99 yesterday. It is back up to regular price now I knew that I'd missed it but wasn't worried since I knew it was supposed to be available tomorrow as well. That said, I just went to look at early deals and found it's back on sale now for $25 and the Fire tablet has already been marked down as well.

Well, I just ordered the Ring doorbell with an echo dot for 69.99. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t order it with the dot, it is the same price. Am I missing something?

I put a bunch of random things on my wish list such as makeup, a garden stool, yoga socks, a desk chair for my daughter, etc. I downloaded the app and turned on notifications. If I understand correctly, I’ll receive a notification if and when any of those items on my wish list have lightening deals. If the price is right I’ll purchase the item(s).

I also went thru the "today's deals" area, perhaps that's the difference.

I wish Amazon would do a deal on price for a year with just shopping benefits, I didn`t use any of the extras and decided not to renew Prime this year. I've been debating the same. I'm up for renewal in a few weeks. I think this Prime Day will probably be the tipping point for me one way or another. I do have a question for those in the know. I have an Echo and 2 Dots. Other than not being able to access Prime features, do they perform the same with or without a membership? I use mine for shopping lists, radio (both conventional and Pandora), news briefings, random information, weather, etc. Thanks!

Is the Ring doorbell worth getting? also wondering if it is worth it and do you have to pay a monthly fee I love my Ring doorbell. I like to see when my kids come and go and who is at my house and when. You do have to pay a monthly fee (I don't know what it is because it it automatically debited somewhere) if you want to have access to the saved videos. If you just want a live feed, then you could opt not to pay the monthly fee. I can see: who comes to my house for lunch (we live very close to the high school and my kids bring others home) if my kids leave when I am out when a package is delivered when the kids get home if there is someone on my lawn I originally got in when we had a friend of my son's move in because I wanted to make sure he wasn't having strangers in my house, but I am so glad I have it now even though that is somewhat less of a concern.

I don’t like to open the door when I’m home alone and with it I can tell who’s there. That is primarily what I want it for. The majority of the time someone is at the door and we aren’t expecting anyone it is a package drop off, so it will be nice to know I don’t have to bother answering if I am busy. The other day someone was pounding on my door at 8 pm, which I knew was too late for a delivery and since I was home alone I wasn’t going to answer it, but I do wonder who it was.
