I just finished this blanket. its the Marguerite blanket on Ravelry. Theres also a facebook group. I used red heart yarn. polo and anthracite ombre. Omg, I love this! My coworker who crochets and I had a conversation this week about how we need to step up our game making blankets. We've done the Attic 24 striped blankets and absolutely love them, but we need to try something new. I bought the linked pattern book at Joanns (using a coupon of course) and we were thinking about picking one to do at the same time. Your blanket makes me feel fired up to do it. Good morning. I have half my squares in the wash and will block. I have twelve more to crochet. I did two snowflake squares. They turned out nicer than I thought they would. I didn't think they'd be difficult I just wasn't sure if I liked the look. I really love the look of the cloversquare. I've made two so far.

I finished joining and even the set up for the edging/border. The second row of the set up is slower going because of the crochet around the post stitches. I now am working through sewing in the ends for all the joining rows.

Anyone do Tunisian crochet? I am going to give it a try as I get awful cramps doing regular crochet. Just ordered a set of hooks and still have lovely yarn that lainey recommended for me to try for a lap blanket ages ago. Fingers crossed for my next attempt at crochet. I need a break from sanding and waxing miniature furniture.

It does produce lovely fabric though.

I find I need the thicker, rubberised handle or my hands lock.

I’ve been trying to finish a baby quilt and it might be the last thing I ever sew. Since I lost my sewing machine in a fire two years ago I have purchased three, yes three, sewing machines. None of them work. I’ve been sewing for 50 years and for the life of me I can’t figure out what is wrong with the newest machine. Taking it back to the store on Tuesday and I hope I they can fix it for me.
Fingers crossed I’ll have something to add soon.
I’m so impressed with everyone’s work. Love all the talent on this board.

Here you go! I have all the rows joined and 2 of the columns. The snowflake square is the lavender one in the middle. That is beautiful! Your blanket is going to be stunning!

The second row of the set up is slower going because of the crochet around the post stitches. I now am working through sewing in the ends for all the joining rows. Wow... I was right! Totally stunning! (Obviously I haven't checked this thread in a few days. Oops). I am going back to do the bonus squares that I skipped now. I am on my 3rd wheat square. I hate it. Hate hate hate it lol It is SO fussy and taking me a lot longer than the others have. I did spend some time Saturday evening working on my table favors for the SU even this weekend. Nothing like waiting until the last minute lol I figured out the design, last night I cut all of the pieces and made the belly bands for the boxes (cute 3x4 Stampin Up boxes). Tonight I need to start filling the boxes then I can put them all together. The flower on top is 3 die cut pieces that I sponged pink onto. It doesn't show up well in the photo at all, but IRL it is certainty there. The bottom petals have a lot of sponging, the middle ones have white centers with pink centers, and the very top petals have pink just on the edge of the cardstock. They will be filled with Dove chocolate, hand cream, a face mask, as well as under eye masks. Just a little spa in a box package. When the boxes are put together, I will be adding a few leaves under/around the flower as well as some sequins or pearls, or something else sparkly.

phoenixcov what kind of crochet hooks are you using? I used the cheap Susan Bates ones for years and my hands never felt good. I switched over to Addi Swing hooks and the difference is wonderful.
