Our province‘s schools went back this week. In an effort to curb and help out schools a bit, the gov’t closed down clubs. Bars have to stop selling alcohol at 10pm and shut down unless they’re serving full meals. Restaurants can’t serve alcohol after 10 pm. All tv’s and music in bars or restaurants have to be at a low level. All banquet halls were closed down. The virus is spreading more with young people in their 20s and 30s who spend time ‘partying’ or with people ignoring physical distancing protocols at larger functions. People having get togethers without distancing can now be fined $2,000 and each individual guest can be fined $250. I am in Vancouver BC. Our province has 35 people in hospital and 15 in ICU. We have around 100 positive results a day and currently 1300 active cases in our population of 5 million. This is what Chicago has been doing. Someone is actively patrolling the restaurant/bars. If they aren’t following the rules set down they are fining them. If they don’t learn from that they are shutting them down. It’s strict, but cripes this stuff has got to get under control. Yes, the Chicago mayor is watching what the 20-35 year olds are doing. They are driving the numbers up. What they do will get closed down. Mayor Lightfoot is not messing around with this or them.

I'd love to go some where......I don't feel like it's safe. I'd worry to much after I'd fly. I'd never relax.
Stay safe!

That stinks. I hope you're not sick!
With the rest of your family going to the outing they easily could of infected everyone who was there. That's what has happened at the wedding in Maine. It was a gathering of 65 and now 150 are infected and 2-3 people have died from Covid.

Have you tried using a foam roller? That may get the spasm to stop.
The roller is good, but it is a painful good. When my back is bad I use that. I do 3 rolls at a time. I roll above/below where the pain is. It hurts, it does, but the relief is amazing. There are times I cry through it, but I know on the other end things will be better.

Yup it works! We have a skunk tote! I was done running to Walmart at midnight to get the stuff. I told my dh that I didn’t care if we every used the kit again. I just wanted it there. I printed off the instructions so it’s altogether in a tote in our laundry room!

Put me into the group that truly believes this was on purpose. Why? Because why isn't she wearing something red/white/blue (not necessarily all those colors)? I looked at her first green as supporting the troops due to it's shade. I thought, hmmmm, Army green. I wonder who she is supporting within the Army. The lime green I thought of drinks! Yes, please put a lime in my drink. Everything she wears and says has a purpose. The purpose does not seem to support Doofus.

I scored a used Peloton from someone in a neighborhood close to me. I love it. We've only had it about 2 1/2 weeks. My daughter and I ride it regularly. My dh has ridden once or twice.
Shoes--yes you want bike shoes. They are stiffer and don't bend, which is good when you're standing. You want to be able to pull/push the pedals. The shoes also keep your feet aligned so your workout is better.
I had done spin classes for years. The instructors on Peloton are fantastic. Music....sometimes good, sometimes not.
Oh, if you don't want to ride with any instructor you can do that too using your own music and choose scenery.

There was a news conference today.
The question was asked about the mom driving him. The official didn't know the answer to that question.

If you have it please tell me about it.
Can a whole family use it or does it have to be charged per user?
If a family can use it do I create an account per user using their Apple ID?
We don’t have an Alexa and we don’t use Siri. I don’t know if that makes a difference or not. Speakers—I have one Bose portable that could be used with Apple Music.
Hmmm, I don’t know what else to ask. So please share your knowledge.
Thanks!!

I agree, however if he is off death row doesn't that mean he won't come up for.....ughhhh.....I cannot think of what it is called. It happens every few years. Oh gads old brain set in.
Maybe with him not coming up for re-evaluation (the only word I can think of) it will help the families a little bit.

This is tough!! Whatever you do please be consistent. If you break your consistency your child will gain control. No, they won't see it as that until they figure it out and they do that rather quickly.
Can you display school on your tv so the screen isn't small? That may help a tiny bit.
I agree with the comment above that kids need to build their endurance. Think about when they are learning anything new.....walking, biking, coloring, etc. It does take time. If you see your child loosing focus lead them back to the task on hand. It's done in steps. This is how teachers of all children do it. All kids of all grade levels do not have the endurance, focus at the start of the year as they do later on in the year.
Each and every teacher on the planet right now is trying. They are trying their best. They didn't take their summer off. They brainstormed and Zoomed more than anyone can imagine to try to troubleshoot. If you come up with solutions share them privately with the teacher. They could use suggestions because their brains are tapped.
I will tell you my husband teaches high school. Out of 7, yes, 7 days a week this past summer he Zoomed 5-6 days a week. Those Zoom meetings, chats were hours long. HOURS.....I felt so bad for him.
Best of luck! Hang in there. Things will be different. So if you set boundaries and stick to them that is what school will be for them this year.

The news reported that the judge verbally gave it to both of them! I was glad to hear that. Maybe if you google it will be out there.
I hope they both have to serve every day of their sentence. I know they won’t unless they don’t follow the rules.
It’s too bad that Lori didn’t get more based on her attitude.

Chicago has opened these too. It's limited hours and numbers of people.
We're doing well too. I'm thrilled.
Although the next thing is I'm so disheartened and disgusted. My neighbor, who is a friend for years, is having a party tonight. People in/out of her house. How do I know. Our backyards are close to each other and their blinds are open. So...if I didn't have to let the dang dog out I wouldn't see them.
Sadness.........

Money doesn't make someone smart. Money doesn't make one think of others.
Stupid! Imagine what his parents think. I certainly hope no one else picks him up.

I hope just hope that these comments return on their facebook feeds years from now. I would like to believe they think in their heads "boy that was stupid". Why in their heads? Because you know they'd never admit that they were so very wrong.

I believe this Covid crap is going to affect this whole school year in some way.
I'm surprised they are allowed to play. It stinks that your parents can't be there. Is there a way that the school can stream the games? I'd ask about that. I know it's not the same but they'd be able to watch.
I would guess that things will not settle down until late 2021 early 2022 (which sounds so far away). If you think about a vaccine and getting enough for everyone that wants/needs it I believe this is realistic. Now, do I like it...NOPE.

they finally decided to fess up "On May 22, Loughlin confessed to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, while Giannulli, 57, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and one count of honest services wire and mail fraud. Under the terms of the deal, which is still pending the judge’s approval, Loughlin agreed to serve two months in prison (though the coronavirus pandemic could affect that time), pay a $150,000 fine and do 100 hours of community service, while Mossimo agreed to serve five months, pay $250,000 and do 250 hours of community service. Both could also spend two years on supervised release." What is "one count of honest services wire?" ugh...... Of course they don't get super dinged....I guess time will tell.

It's TX in August. Outside is going to be horrible. Don't go and don't feel guilty.
I have a bridal shower next weekend. It's outside in a backyard. They believe they can handle 30 people at a distance. I just don't see it. They have a large pool in their backyard. So, if I wear my suit and float around in the pool I'd be ok.
I'm not going.
They are saying now most of the spread is done through these types of get togethers. I personally feel I'm just walking into trouble by going.
