The person that would know if the stamps were available is Gluestickgirl, not Marcy. I'm taking the class too- Marcy is always very present in her classes as craftergamer said.

Allscrapbooksteals.com has an extra 10% off code "LABORDAY" and some collections at 40% off. Not as good as My Scraps & More, that have new lines at 40% off, but I thought that I would post it anyway

If the image is the same one as posted on the company blog, it contains existing OA products. So, it's probably teasing an end-of-the-summer blog hop or warehouse box. Given the Daily Flash Summertime line was quietly removed from the website earlier this year, Treasure Map is still not available, recently-released OA collections are appearing on discount sites, no new lines were introduced, & the last "mystery" posts on the OA blog referred to the (short-lived) partnership with Webster's Pages, I also wouldn't be surprised if OA announces another partnership or buy out - perhaps American Crafts or Studio Calico? We'll see... I hope that someone will partner with them or buy them out... Guess we'll find out more today

They've been constantly unloading their inventory on the daily deal sites as of late, and my guess about Friday's surprise on their blog is a warehouse box. I know we've been predicting the end for a while now, but it really feels like it could be coming. If so, I'll be a very sad camper, as they are far and away my favorite manufacturer. (I hope I'm wrong!) I hope not! That would be really sad. I wish they had partnered with Webster's Pages after all.

Have fun OP! I enjoy PL immensely and don't see myself stopping and switching to traditional scrapping anytime soon.

I absolutely love the 6x8 size! I don't use it for my annual PL albums, but I love it for various smaller albums. I have done our honeymoon album and December Daily in 6x8. I do the same thing! I love the 6x8 for DD and the rest of the year I use a 12x12 for PL.

I have also only done monthly PL. Usually I do 2 12x12 pocket pages per month highlighting the main events, sometimes I add several 12x12 layouts that are focused on one picture on each layout. I am pretty much like anniefb- I don't worry what is happening week by week.

You should do what appeals to you most! This is my second year of PL and I probably do everything in an unconventional manner. I only do monthly (due to time) and I will often throw in 12x12 layouts in between that focus on something special- so some months have more pages than other months. Try a couple of things and see how they work for you. And just as everyone else has said- the special PL pages just make it easier to drop in photos etc.

Forgot to mention that I did a 12x12. Also most of the recipes were printed on a tag and put in an envelope on each page- I wanted the photos of the children to be the focal point

Will be watching this thread . I didn't know about the 20% off at ACOT. Usually EH has a 20% off as well- haven't gotten an email yet though. Will post when I can confirm this.

Being frozen is not for me! Tried it once, and after my (very short) freeze, I spent much more than I usually do. It was kinda like dieting: I became obsessed with what I couldn't have and thought about it constantly. So now I'm refridgerated, not frozen. That's kind of how I feel. I will call it refrigerated ! Yes I love that- refrigerated! I guess I have been in and out of the refrigerator all year ha ha

Do you ladies do full layouts or PL? I got a lot done just by going back to my daughter's baby pictures and doing a very simple PL. The album isn't great by any means, but I figure that the photos are at least "safe" in page protectors I am hoping to go back to them at a certain point and add embellishments etc.

I haven't made my own embellies- but you all have such great ideas- please keep them coming! I will have to attempt some, but it usually takes me so much effort to just get a layout done!

I have done 2 recipe scrapbooks as gifts for my daughter's kindergarten teacher and her 3rd grade teacher. Each child in the class supplied a recipe and a photo and I put a winter-themed scrapbook together- unfortunately I didn't take any pictures- I wasn't in the scrapbooking community at that time and had no scrappy friends... Both teachers loved it!

Ali Edwards made a post on the Paperclipping forums that made it sound like each month, will basically be a 4x6 stamp set and a mini class including Videos and PDFs on using the stamp of the month to tell a story, in which case, I could justify the cost. I'm not quite yet able to subscribe sight unseen though, I'm not a stamper, I do this as an artistic outlet, not for the storytelling and I'm a SC subscriber so I am already getting a stamp every month, so unless the stamp is something that would truly help me tell a story I feel is worth telling, I have to pass. Thanks for that info- the price then makes more sense! I'm still going to wait to see the stamp though. I love the idea of her story kit- hopefully more info will be forthcoming soon

I only do scrapbooks or project life. I just like paper and embellishments way too much to just make a book with photos.

I don't worry about stuff being archival I will put ANYTHING on a page-If I can glue it down, it's fair game I rarely journal I have to say that I do the same things- especially if I can glue something down, I will do it! I love my hot glue gun

I store like with like, but I don't have enough space to further separate it by color! I keep patterned paper by manufacturer- I can seem to remember collections; this is probably not the best way though
