Does anybody know if the hot items are the same on every island or if they vary by island? They are different on each island. Your hot items will be limited to recipes you have learned. Other people may have learned different recipes.

I'm going to put it in the mail to you. Don't buy it again! Thanks so much, that would be great. My mother was knocking on our door so I didn’t see your post here. 😁

I just caught a great white in the morning! I thought that you could only catch sharks after 4pm. I don't TT so not sure what is up with that but I will take it! My app (if it’s correct) says great whites spawn from 4pm to 9am.

Do you have to manually enter everything into the guide or is there a way to sync it to the game? No way to sync. It’s completely stand alone.

There is an iOS app called ACNH.Guide. It’s free but you can pay to remove adds. It’s really cool and has saved me a lot of googling. It has item, bug and fish catalogs, including selling price. You can enter your Villagers and it will let you know upcoming birthdays. You can enter your turnip sunday price then morning and afternoon daily prices, and it links to Turnip Prophet to predict weekly prices. It’s such a time saver. I use this too to catalog what I've already bought or been given by the villagers. I went ahead and paid to remove the ads because they were annoying me. I paid to remove ads and tipped him because it’s such a useful app.

I'm finally playing and fish guy CJ is here, IDK if you guys want to come over to sell him fish? I'm busy running around like a chicken trying to catch fish and raise some moula. I'll open up my gates in say an hour from now that would be 5:45 PST. I'll come back and post whenn I do. @littlemamma my turnips are selling for a spectacularly low price of $59! sorry CJ won’t buy fish from visitors. He’ll only buy from the island player. Which is a bummer.

Out of curiosity, how much does everyone spend on turnips each week? Does it just vary based on how much money you have? Or do you set a budget and just buy the max amount you can for that? I pretty much allocate $500,000 to turnips and however many I get for that price, I get. I buy enough to fill my pockets. I don’t want to have to make multiple trips if I have to travel to sell.

She’s pretty adorable playing. Every night in the game, she puts on her night dress, slippers, and turns off all the lights and extinguishes all fires on the island before she goes to bed in real life. Then in the morning, she runs around the island in her nightdress to check on her flowers and light all the fires...then she goes and picks out her outfit for the day. The best thing was when Pietro the clown sheep moved on her island and she stuck him on the highest cliff with no stairs because she is scared of clowns. Does that work? Is his house on a cliff and he can’t get down? DD has a villager she wants to oust and nothing is working to make them want to go. No it doesn’t work. But she thought it would. 😁

I’m looking for the red or wood grain surfboards. I have the blue stripe, white and flower boards available for trade, or can pay bells.

Here are ours: I would love the rainbow playground gym and the zebra springy ride-on if anyone has them! And the “regular” pool. I can order you the regular pool, if you still need it. Nothing needed in return. 😁

I’m willow from Dumptruck. I just hopped on your island but I had to sell and run, because I’m sitting in my car on my hot spot at work, lol. Are you going to be open awhile? I don’t want to take advantage of your generosity but my mother plays. Would you mind if I gave her your code to come sell hers as well. It’s no big deal if you don’t. Sure, that’s fine — what’s her username? I will be leaving in 30 min if she can come by before then! Thank you so much. My 74 year old mother just giggled and giggled while she was flying to your island. My step father passed away in March so Animal Crossing has been her escape. She’s leaving now. She said THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks to everyone who tipped — not necessary but totally appreciated! Hope everyone is making a boatload of money. I’m moving structures and terraforming today. Demolishing some of my inclines so I can change where they are. I’m willow from Dumptruck. I only get upset for two reasons: if they block my mailbox (our mail carrier will not deliver if a car blocks the mailbox) or if they park so close to my driveway that I can’t see past their car or have a hard time backing out without hitting them.
My sister has college kids who live across the street and they will park on either side of her driveway and directly across from her driveway. Now that would piss me off.

When we had a cat, we used a long hook and eye latch to let the bathroom door only open enough to let cat through but not dogs. This might not work, depending on how small your puppy is. I found this picture of a product that works just the way we did it with the hook and eye.

What are you using for the filter? Blue shop paper towels or coffee filters. Cool. I’m using the blue shop towels as well. Got two huge canisters at our tractor supply.

I sewed us all masks a couple of weeks ago. Tightly woven cotton with a pocket for a filter. We dispose the filter each time and wash the mask. What are you using for the filter?

Thank you for this! It is super helpful. I've got plenty of high quality tightly woven cotton quilting fabric here at home. Can anyone recommend a pattern? I like this one I found on YouTube. It’s easy to adjust it for a custom fit. I am a RN and would wear this one before many of the other ones I have seen online. Mask videoThat’s the exact one I plan to make as well...I have the fabric, just need to get clothesline.

I think part of it is also because with most masks there isn’t a seal and filter like with the n95 masks. This is the same reason surgical masks protect the patient but not the doctor.
If it’s up against your nose and mouth, it could catch most out your droplets in the fabric instead of sending them into the air. Thus decreasing the the possibility of transmitting virus from you to others.
However, it is still letting outside air to you because if there isn’t a seal, then the air you breathe in follows the path of least resistance and you are probably breathing in air that goes around the mask. So you are breathing in air that could have the virus particles.
