A few weeks after I recovered from my rattlesnake bite we saw this friend in the yard. Still a little scary even though we know he’s a good friend.

The way I do my PL is one 6x12 insert at the beginning of the month… full of the little tidbits that don’t warrant an entire page. This is Sept 2023.

linda I love your page for the family history album. It's the kind of page I aspire to do, the journaling/facts that will be lost after this generation. I also love your lego layouts-perfect layouts for the photos! joblackford I love your movie layout! I am starting a media journal this year and I think that looks so fun!

Will you be doing weekly? Monthly? Monthly
Do you do a hybrid style where you scrapbook but via pockets with full page layouts too? Hybrid. I am a chronological scrapbooker that has dabbled w/ pocket pages over the past couple of years. This year I am making my first layout of the month a project life spread, with a monthly card and then pockets w/ some of the smaller stories that would not necessarily get a full page, but that I want to document in some way. That "divider" so to speak wiil then be followed by full page layouts and possibly some pocket page layouts also.
What size will you be working in? 9x12
So you subscribe to any kits? AE SK and SBTM and Elle's Studio
Any favorite companies? AE, Elle Studio
Do you do any hybrid pages where you use digital products? yes and I also use the PL app often.

Good morning jeremysgirl I am excited to be back after a break at the end of 2023. I did a lot of organizing and a lot of picture taking so hopefully I will be able to do a lot of creating While I was organizing I just really came down to the fact that I have too.much.stuff. It is all beautiful and amazing but I have too much. The amount of time I have available to me is short and I have been getting stressed about not having enough time to use all that I have. I cancelled a few things (one sub and a patreon and one membership). I am considering cancelling some other things both in scrapbooking and in life. I always am feeling busy and behind and I don't like that and the dumbest part of that whole thing is that I am doing it to myself lol. Anyway sorry to get so deep and off topic.I am not going to go on a freeze but am really going to think before I buy. This year I have changed sizes (8.5x11 to 9x12) although I believe I will have different sized protectors in the same album. I am keeping my AE kits and my SC stamp kit for now. I am trying to branch out, so that my albums look like I created them vs that I shopped at Ali's store lol. I am going to decide on a budget and then (most likely) shop at Scrapbook.com, and I hopefully will do well at "shopping my stash" For January I am working on my photos from Nov and December 2023 and starting OLW 2024

My word this year is live. I just want to live this year w/o trying to fix myself or something else in my life lol. I have had a lot of really active words the last few years and I just want to approach this year spending some time living. Going on that trip, spending the day watching chick flicks, whatever...even if there is something else I "should" be doing.
I am doing the AE OLW project/class. I did not purchase the kit or album this year-just the class.

Last year I moved from a digital planner to a paper planner.
After watching a lot of YouTube videos I ended up choosing a grid lined composition notebook. I am all about setting up the pages/decorating. It is cheap and if I set up a week in a way that I don't like, well, I only have to "live" with it for one week lol
What planner(s) are you using for 2024 and for what purpose?-composition notebooks, one for planning (monthly, weekly, daily) and one for things that last longer than the "regular planner" such as future planning etc. Do you prefer Monday or Sunday start?Sunday Horizontal or Vertical layout? both, depending on how I set up the week Sticker girl or just functional? decorative Planner tip to share or fun lists you keep? In my year long planner I have things such as all the places I went for karaoke and what I sang, all the books, movies,tv shows I watched/read, meals that are tried/true, meals i want to try, movies books ect that someone suggests to me, bucket lists, items to research, quotes/lyrics,24 in 2024,resturants I want to try, health info, and a master grocery list

I will do DITL WITL and OLW. I have decided to switch from 8.5x11 to 9x12 next year to try it. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is for me. I swore I would never switch, all my cardstock is 8.5x11 and I have done this size for 25 years lol. I am going to do a monthly PL and regular layouts mixed in that album. I started doing a decorative planner this year and will keep that up. My OLW this year is live. I love scrapbooking w/ all that I have, but this year I am going to live also

I was coming to say the same as @pilcas. My UTIs have become antibiotic resistant and I have had to use stronger ones the last couple I have had. I too, ended up in the hospital.

I ordered the folio for another project, the rainbow and pennant stamps, some page protectors and the class. I disliked the kit and I also have not really been liking my albums' lack of diversity in the products I use. I am going to shop my stash and maybe make some embellishments ahead of time and compile a kit that way.
This is my favorite project of the year so I am not ready to let it go quite yet lol.
