If he has a Roku or Roku tv, he can have a photo stream as a screen saver on his tv and the pictures can be added on a website. You could also sign in and add pictures. We adore seeing photos of our grandchildren all day if we want. Just another option😊 I don't think he does and he lives too far away to check. He wouldn't know if he does or not, so asking wouldn't be helpful. We do the same thing with our tv. I love it. I didn't know this was an option, thanks! Also, if you like amazon shows you can do this on there too

I have mixed feelings about it. I am happy the stamp will be of better quality, and am happy to pay for that. I don't do PL so lots of cards doesn't really keep me subscribing. I have a lot of chipboard and don't really use die cuts frequently. So, I guess we shall see.

Organizing in general. I feel like organizing is a whole separate hobby from scrapbooking, lol! For me mostly organizing photos is where I really feel the overwhelm.

Tim Holtz and his entire distress-verse is overrated. While I disagree w/ the opinion I love distress-verse and am so glad to have this term to use now lol.

I like making hard boiled eggs in the oven or air fryer. I have a lot of success with that.
As far as the browned meat, I really don't see any difference between that and any other canned meat like chicken or tuna. I would be willing to keep some on hand for emergencies.

My phone is always on silent unless I am expecting a call from someone not on my favorite list. My kids phones # are set to ring always. Everyone else is not I can not have noises on at work, but I can have my phone out. I am in the habit of checking it often. I work long hours and my work is fairly noisy, so I often don't even have the radio on on my way home. I cherish the quiet. I am old (56) and I am of the belief that my phone is for me. It is for my convenience. I am also of the belief that everyone else's phone is for their convenience and that they have the right to set it up in the way that makes the most sense for them, regardless of age or anyone else's personal preference. My parents are older, and I may miss their call. I had to take them off my favorite list because they would not respect my sleep. I have to work, and I need to sleep. No one wants to talk to a 911 dispatcher who did not get enough sleep last night because someone called them and woke them up.

Looks like you are committed to 4 kits regardless of when you start. I was hoping that was not the case, but I also really really love this new kit lol. decisions.
copy/paste from my email response,
You have received a response from JasmineH in your conversation "quarterly scrapbook kit" (#137885):
Hi Lisa, Thank you for reaching out to us. When you subscribe to the Quarterly Scrapbook Kit, you are agreeing to receive four (quarterly) kits within the subscription. So if you sign up now to receive this last one of 2023, you will be agreeing to receive the following three kits. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Best, Jasmine

I am "caught up" with the exception of assembling Oct prompt (waiting for pics to be printed). I have not watched Nov prompt yet, but in years past I absolutely hate the conversation w/ my word prompt lol. I will most likely change it to my favorite prompt of all time (that often gets skipped now) which is making a playlist of your word. I started a playlist early on but have not documented it. As to next year, I will take the class and make an album. My word jumped at me in late September. I have had a lot of "big" words over the last 5 years and next year my word is going to be live. I am just going to take time to live my life instead of trying to be productive or fix something lol.

For home or outside home? When I think of cozy socks I think of those ones lined with sherpa you can get during the holidays. I did mean outside the home, sorry I was not specific. I guess comfort does mean different things to different people. I am in AZ so while I dont necessarily need them to be big/thick, I want something that is soft and cozy feeling.

Last week I was thrifting again and found a sidekick. I have zero need for this, but it was 3 dollars so I could not leave it behind We shall see if I end up using it at all. I would have 100% bought that. I was going to get one of those until the Empress went on sale and I bought that instead. I have a friend who has a side kick and I just love that little thing, almost all her dies work in it and it's so easy just to stash in a drawer or sit on a desk. Have fun! that is what i am hoping- that I will just love it. I picked it up and put it back a few times until my son who was w/ me said mom...its 3 dollars...i don't even know what it is but it seems like you need it lol.

I started Scrapbooking in 1998. At that time my budget for this craft was very very small, so I just used stamps/stencils and really did not use die cuts. Then we got an LSS w/ a die cut machine you could use if you purchased paper. I used the heck out of that thing, and continued using my stencils/stamps. After the LSS closed (around 2009) I eventually was thrifing one day and found a Big shot. I was pretty excited and purchased it and started picking up dies here and there. In 2020 after being coerced by YouTube, and with a much bigger budget for my hobby I purchased a Cricut Maker 3. I used the heck out of it at first labeling everything in my house, using it on every page and even making some shirts. I kept my Big Shot because I have dies that I like still, even though I don't use it that often. Last week I was thrifting again and found a sidekick. I have zero need for this, but it was 3 dollars so I could not leave it behind We shall see if I end up using it at all.

I don't have a problem with this, because it looks like she closed her Patreon altogether, rather than pausing it - indicating she has no intention to restart it. Putting the videos on YouTube is a way for her former subscribers to still have access to the videos. Yes, they aren't technically "exclusive" to them anymore, but they were exclusive for 1-2 years and she's not collecting money from them anymore. If I were a patron, I would rather still have access to the videos, even if it is now on a public platform. Just my two cents. I agree 100%
