This is the first time we haven't scheduled any new shows to watch. We're content with the ones we're already are invested in and have so many choices on Netflix and Prime. This is me. I keep telling myself do not start another series lol... but I am probably going to start another series lol.

Good Morning!
I am hoping to keep up better with the chat and the comments this month. I love it here and am so inspired...but I legit suck at chatting and commenting.
I do usually make my own cards, but do not send many out...and, I have no idea what I am going to do this year with it. I am kinda wanting to go the digital route, but I bought a stamp set that I love...so who knows.

People in my area are using it when they call 911 for an ambulance. It is crazy...I then have to ask...what kind of way are you feeling lol...just makes things take longer.

Cathy Zielski has done a year long class called FIT for a few years now. cbscrapper this might be up your alley for 2020. I have participated several years, took this year off but may take it in 2020. It is similar from year to year. She provides materials to document in several sizes.

I am slowly getting the chance to leave comments. I think I got those in the gallery and those on this thread. Now for the Sketch threads.... Linda , your school graduation pages are really nice. Those must be the school colors and they work perfectly for scrapping! Love the banners.~ Your page with all photos is well-designed. Not every page needs embellishments. Those photos will be priceless in a few years!~ I love Cathleen’s quilt. Those colors are gorgeous! You paper is a perfect match. I love the dotted swiss texture. ~ Cute red, white and blue birthday page. That dark border really makes the page pop. ~ What wonderful paper you have for game playing. I love your title block with the cards and game pieces. You find the best papers! ~ I love the Bittersweet page. I tried to read the journaling, but couldn’t get it big enough. Love that big fish.~ I chuckled as I read that you don’t have much use for snow paper. Some winters I wish I didn’t! LOL. Love the snow paper colors though. Makes a beautiful layout. KikiPea , I love what you did with that Facebook sketch. Your page is gorgeous. So much layering and so many wonderful embellishments. I love the Sand and Sea letters. Very pretty. ~ Your double pages from your crop are amazing. I love your style. Your big flowers are so pretty and you have been able to use so many photos without having your pages be crowded. That huge sunset photo is gorgeous. I’d say you really accomplished a lot. ~ I love the fussy cut flowers on your Whiskey Tasting page and the touches of gold. Lovely. teacherlisa , I love your pocket pages and Traveler’s Notebook. You say you have left teaching. Are you doing something else fun? I love your gratitude pages. I wish I could see these in person and hold them in my hands. You are doing such a great job with this project. Your Farmer’s Market sounds amazing. It is huge! ~ I was touched by your “let grudges go” page. I need to do all those things too. I wish I were a better journal keeper. You are inspiring me. Love your birthday photos and journaling. sleepingbooty , I am so impressed with your Moodboard layout. I love the projects you plan to tackle over the holidays. I love that fluffy wreath and the pine cone decorated package. Your arrangement of the squares is so color-pleasing and I love the way the corners overlap each other. You do beautiful digi work. Thanks for sharing your ideas for this year! nylene I left teaching because my Rhuematiod Arthritis became too difficult to manage-I taught Head Start and the young kids was a bit too physical for me. I am a 911 dispatcher now and I love it. I am super lucky that I have had 2 careers that were able to support my family that I love. Thanks for all your encouraging words-its been cathartic to write some of the things down that I have been told to keep to myself all these years lol.

grammadee love the back to school page and the glittery embellishments! The unicorn book is magical! My daughter would love it! teacherlisa I like how you add journaling to your pocket pages. Where did you get the moving forward journaling card and sticker? Fun TN page! Where do you purchase them? I've saved TONS of ideas and need to just try one. Also, I like your handwriting. I love the hi I'm mat photo. Just my humour! The document card is very creative. Great job incorporating memorbillia. dasmith2 do you know what font you used for the title? It's perfect! I have a Comic Con groot picture to scrap. You do a great job mixing pattern papers. AussieMeg seriously gorgeous travel pages! Like coffee book, magazine worthy. Thanks for the love! The moving forward stuff is all Ali Edwards (part of the move story kit) I get my TN's on Amazon, but I got my first "trial" one at Michaels-it was totally fine. i don't think I "love" TN's but I am starting to get the hang of them.

I don't enjoy cooking, for me it's a chore. When I cook, I make a lot so can freeze individual portions that only need to be heated up. Food I make then portion individually: Big batch of roasted vegetables. Bake boneless skinless chicken breast, then chop and shred. I like to mix it with hickory bbq sauce or honey-pineapple teriyake sauce I freeze hamburger patties, move to fridge in the morning, then they are ready for the George Foreman grill when I get home. Soup. Swedish Meatballs. i love roasted veggies but have not had luck freezing them. What type of veggies do you roast/freeze? Any tips for cooking or freezing that you follow? Thanks!

I do lots of meal prep type things, including freezer cooking. I was a single mom of two teenage boys with busy school/sports schedules-so that is kinda when I started. Now I am a single empty nester, but I am working 4 or 5 12 hr shifts per week. I also can be called in at a moments notice on my days off. Sometimes I want to eat crap but I don't want to be forced to. I have some "dump and go" crock pot dinners in my freezer. I have individual "tv dinners" in my freezer, which are complete meals in individual servings-usually leftovers of things that freeze well. I also prep ingredients that will be used in recipes later (shredded cooked chicken, browned seasoned ground beef for example) I have individual servings of soups and sauces in my freezer also. (homemade marinara, meat sauce etc) I eat out very rarely and enjoy cooking, and like to eat home made meals most of the time. I recently had shoulder surgery and got hooked on YouTube while recovering. I agree that some is for content. Some of the meal prep or freezer ppl I love to watch are www.youtube.com/user/MindOverMunch (she is not freezer meal-just meal prep) www.youtube.com/channel/UCYidQwKhM3WTDKpT8pwfJzw (again, not freezer meal, but meal prep and she is a genius who meal preps in a completely different way-love her) I keep a stocked pantry and fridge too- I live outside of town and it is just so much easier for me to have things on hand.

No newspaper subscriptions. I live in a rural area w/o delivery...sometimes I pick up a copy if I am at the store, but normally I don't.
I love magazines. I used to get them in print...then switched to digital on my kindle and I loved that even more.
Recently I got an ipad, and subscribed to apple news plus and cancelled my magazine subscriptions because I can read them there. There is a fee (9.99/mo) for Apple News plus, but it is available for family sharing and has a lot of magazines I like to read but did not necessarily want to pay for. I am saving money after cancelling my subs.

momto4kiddos my mother is the same, and we do not have a good relationship because of it. It breaks my heart because I am a good person, I have a good job, I am kind to others, but I will never ever be good enough for her. I have not allowed that to happen with my adult children, and they both have made decisions that would not be what I have chosen for them. All I have to do is remember that because I made different choices for myself then my mother would have, I can't have a relationship with her and I shut right up. My only tips to you are this...1) remember that this is 100% their life and they get to make their own choices. What is right for me, may not be right for them. and 2) I have a very strong faith and I believe that things work out the way they are supposed to...even if it is rough along the way. I am 52 and I make mistakes all of the time. I am not always right. Your (and my) kids are going to make mistakes also. All that said, hugs mama because I know it is hard!

I used to use evernote, but did not really like it, so I switched to color my life app. I am really happy with it. I am not planning to catalog specific tags or ephemera for the same reason-that would take too much time and would always be changing. I am doing my stamps, dies and then ink pads and acrylic paint. I am not sure what else I am going to catalog. I especially like to tag the stamps so I can easily find heart stamps for example.
