I almost always use my iPad, sometimes I'll use my phone if I'm really bored somewhere, like the car line at school. I've never even gone to the site on my computer, which I rarely use anyway.

Most of the handmade items I've received were for my kids when they were babies and I love and treasure them. And, I used them. They are now all stored away, I would never give them away. My grandma and great aunt both have made afghans for me over the years and I love and use those, too.

My new favorite is Laura Geller Love Me Dew lip crayon. The color lasts forever and it's not drying or sticky. Love it!

It's been over 20 years since I had jury duty. I was paid from day 1, I think it was around $15/day. Parking was free. My employer still paid me my full salary.

Our house was professionally cleaned before we moved in. Regarding schools, in our district, as long as you could provide a contract with a closing date, you could enroll your children in the schools. Our kids attended school for several months before we moved in.

I just bought one similar to that from an Etsy shop. It was 20 inches, had 3 colors of burlap and our monogram instead of the anchor. I paid $50 for the wreath plus $7 for the monogram. I love it!

Besides accidentally clicking on someone's profile, I'll also do it if I remember someone posted on a topic but can't remember the thread title. I do that fairly often.

This just makes me so sad. I loved Prince, he was such a legend, so much talent. I always think of my college days when I hear his music. Definitely gone too soon, may he RIP.

A lot of small towns in southern Indiana have them, especially the towns that are the county seat. I used to live in Jasper and it has a pretty nice one. In addition to shops, restaurants and other businesses, they have events throughout the year, maybe 5 or 6.

We woke up to a dusting this am and it snowed huge flakes while I was running the kids around this morning. Yesterday, as I was driving my son to work it went from rain to hail to snow to sun in a manner of 15 minutes. I am so done, I want Spring!

We used to periodically have a lawn service whenever DH was gone for an extended period, it was a 1 man operation. He didn't have a set time, he would come whenever he could fit us in, but at least once a week. But, that was what we agreed upon and I was fine with him coming whenever. If you prefer for them to come at a specified time, I would just tell them that.

I would call it a grilled or pocket sandwich and a sandwich maker. I had one of those about 20 years ago, I won it at work . Sandwich makers like that were replaced with panini presses. I have 1 of those, too, and use it all the time.

Thank you. How did you like Turbo Tax? I am doing our taxes this year, since nothing has changed for us year over year. I did them by hand first, and will be filing electronically this weekend. There are a few other free options to use on the website, but I haven't heard of most of the other software packages. Turbo Tax was incredibly easy, it took me less than 10 minutes to file both. DH and I aren't using it for ours though because we have a business, we use a CPA (who probably uses something like Turbo Tax, lol)Is your son getting a refund? Mine made right around $1000 and he is getting a small refund from both.

I just used Turbo Tax to file my son's who also just had a part time job. It was free to file both. You can check your states website to see who offers free filing. We are in IN.
ETA I just checked, H&R Block does free filing for IL. Google free Illinois tax filing.

Regarding your update, you just need to put your foot down and tell her what your able to do, she simply can't demand those things from you. When we recently moved out of the rental we leased while our home was being built, I made the realtor work around my schedule. If for some reason I couldn't have the house tidied up, I told her that and said she was welcome to come, but the house was messy. We actually had a viewing while we were moving out.

I grew up in IL and I didn't have to get one, I started working at 15. We live in IN now and my 16 yr old had to get one. Line others have said, it's for their protection. He works at Arby's and there are limits on the hours he can work, the machinery he can use (no slicers) and he cannot close the store.

I have mine and don't plan on getting rid of them and I'm older than you. I rarely look at them and they are boxed away. Sometimes, when reunions roll around, I'll look through them even though I never go to them.

I only buy what I like to use on a daily basis, I've never bought a place setting. I have luncheon plates, square dinner plates, several different size bowls and a few accessories. My main colors are scarlet, turquoise, sunflower and tangerine. But I also have a few pieces of shamrock, plum, ivory, lapis, flamingo and cobalt.

Val has had two winning partners now so it's just assumed he gets the best dancing celebs. Did they know in advance Ginger would be so good? Guess they audition the celebs. Kind of spoiled things for me, now I know she's the surprise best dancer. Supposedly they don't. They have said that every year about Derek. Vals only had 2 wins. Derek had how many? Also Cheryl had quite a few, but isn't on this yr. I'm not sure how they pick them. Val has only won once, with Rumer Willis. He's only been in the finals a few times, so I wouldn't say he gets the best partners. Derek had some bad ones, too. I do think they are 2 of the best choreographers. But I'm not sure either how they are paired up.

My kids only get Good Friday off if it falls during Spring Break, which is always the first week of April. Even when they attended a Catholic elementary school, they were not off on Good Friday.

Busy day here today, ds had a friend stay over last night and then I took them to Lego Brickworld today. Throw in the time change and I was feeling really tired. So, I needed something quick and easy and didn't require me to go to the store. We had spaghetti with meat sauce, homemade honey wheat bread and applesauce.

I make mine the way my mom did-ground beef, onion, bbq sauce, ketchup and chili powder. Everyone loves them, she made them for the soccer field concession stand for years.

I think electronic invitations are fine for eveything except a formal wedding. Not a fan of Facebook invitations at all, seems way too impersonal. I like options to RSVP, so any method is fine with me- electronic, text, phone or paper. I would only send save the date for a wedding. I think registry information is fine except for in paper wedding invitations (but okay on a wedding website).
