By its nature this thread will always be picture heavy. Does quoting posts with pictures, so the pictures appear within the quote, add to the problem, does anyone know? If yes then maybe we should either just tag the poster of the photo or remove the photo from the quote if that’s possible??

I took an order for 10 sandblasted Father’s Day mugs. Did not charge enough! There is so much writing! And on both sides! Should have charged $15 instead of $10. I’ll share pics when I’m done tomorrow.

Thank you for sharing that with us. I'm more of a vegetarian cocktail sausage on a stick with a chunk of pineapple.
I've ordered some yarn from Hobbii, Sock yarn I love this colour!

Just out of curiosity, lainey can you get two socks out of one ball of sock yarn? I mean do they make the sock balls the right size for a pair?

The 100g balls are more than enough for a pair, I don't like my socks very long so I always have loads of leftovers (I hate having leftovers!) I made the Rose City Roller socks out of one 50g ball but they have no ribbing or leg.

Trivial I know but I was curious. I always have a hard time knowing exactly how much yarn to order for a project. I would think yarn designed for socks would be one ball = one pair. Thank you sueg

I made the Rose City Roller socks out of one 50g ball but they have no ribbing or leg. What do you do with your leftovers? I've gotten to the point now in my purging that I throw them away unless what I have is very substantial. Like an entire unused ball. I have a friend who doesn't have very much money and she is a one skein wonder. Loves hats. So I give her my leftovers if I have a full ball.

And I guess that leftovers question can be thrown out there for everyone. I am just trying to be more intentional with my crochet so I'm only ordering yarn now with actual projects in mind. I'm trying not to hoard.

I usually put my leftovers in a bag and take them to the charity shop. I think with the sock yarn though I'm going to make shorties.

Finished a knitted poncho I started at the beginning of the stay at home. In this video, I share the poncho and a quilt project I've started using scraps and fabrics from my stash.

I'm trying not to hoard. I found that the leftovers from a pair of my socks was just enough for a pair of baby booties, so a lot of my friends got those for baby gifts - so much fun in the crazy patterned sock yarn! I made matching mummy/baby sets for my DDiL when she was expecting Sophia. Because I have been working in day care/after school care for the past 6 years, they have received a lot of yarn donations from me as well. My after school care group made lovely woven pieces and dream catchers before Christmas, all from my left over stash.

Will someone please tell me I've got to finish the things I've already started before I start yet another project? Do it in your best mom voice. This came to me yesterday.

Will someone please tell me I've got to finish the things I've already started before I start yet another project? Do it in your best mom voice. This came to me yesterday. I’m not going to go all mom on you as that yarn looks lovely and squishy and it’s crying out to be used. You manage to finish lots of things so I wouldn’t feel bad if I were you. What are your plans for it? I am quite ashamed at the number of unfinished projects I have, stashed in boxes. I’m hoping it will be my theme for the year, to make inroads into what I’ve got. I’ve finished two things so far this year, one new and one old and I’m on the next old which may be done by the end of next week. Maybe alternate? Do something new then something old then something new??

Is this it on Raverly? it's a paid pattern $6. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/perfect-pockets-shawlI like the shawl and would pay just so I don't spend ages getting it wrong!! Because I would miscalculate at least once

Bless you wellway I think that is it! Using a pattern will be much better than winging it.

I have that saved somewhere jeremysgirl! Either in my favourites in Ravelry or on Facebook. It’s such a usable garment, to my mind. You will rattle that up in no time!
