New newsletter this morning with some changes and things of note that I felt like should be posted.
Birthday sale// The Feed Your Craft shop is turning 6 on June 1st and you're invited to celebrate! There will be markdowns, grab bags, stamp restocks, and a brand new stamp designed by In a Creative Bubble. The festivities kick off on the 1st at 10am EDT, but the shop will close on May 31st to set up.
Release time// That's right, beginning June 1st, all releases and sales will go live at 10am Eastern.
Digital items// The digital section is getting a complete overhaul and the changes will launch with the upcoming sale. Two things to note – numerous items will be retired on May 30th and no ephemera or die cuts will be made available digitally.
Shipping// Delays in transit time are still occurring and numerous countries continue to have mail suspensions in place. Please check with USPS. com and/or your local postal carrier to see how your country is affected.
Affiliate program// There will not be an open call for the Creative Team, but I will be accepting applications to the affiliate program. Full details will be provided in early June if you'd like to apply.
New products// A little insight to what's coming in the next few months.
In addition to June 15th new product release, I'm hoping to have the Staycation and Archer Alphabet stamps back in stock. The Let's Stay Home collection from Pinkfresh Studio is also expected in time for June's release. There were a small number of Add to Cart, Happy Little Moments, and Tourist Mode kits reserved for those that haven't been able to shop for non-essentials. Those will be made available with the August 15th release.

Any U.K. peas received their kit yet?
My package arrived at Heathrow last Friday and there’s been no movement since.
I have to say I am not enjoying all of this anxiety that surrounds packages at the moment. I’ve just got a bad feeling about this one. It’s very odd for it not to have moved for a week once landing in Heathrow.
*deep breath*

It’s very odd for it not to have moved for a week once landing in Heathrow. Us internationals are dealing with the backlog twice: leaving the US and at the actual import centre in our own countries. I wouldn't worry for that week of delay in Heathrow. I believe my KP goodies remained a solid 10 days at the Roissy airport centre before they properly entered customs. Then another few days in customs. Don't panic.

I really hope this isn’t the ‘new normal’ for the mail system but I think we still have a long way to go ahead of us before anything improves!

My KP envelope didn't even update after all that. Went into customs, no more news, several days went by and then all of a sudden it was delivered. No updates in between those two events although it had traveled across the country in the meantime. Not saying this will happen to you but it's a realistic possibility to consider. Fingers crossed for you. Until it's delivered, deep breath in, deep breath out. I know it's hard but I found it far easier to deal with once I accepted that I couldn't do anything about it. I just marked the date for 2 months of transit in my calendar but that was it. No extra worrying or obsessing daily over tracking. We will be dealing with this extremely slow and shaky international mail system for a while. Ironically, stuff from AliExpress like the elastic band for the masks we're sewing is making it far smoother and quicker to me than scrappy goodies from the US right now.

6th Birthday sale is up - grab bags, discounted stamps, and a new IACB stamp. Go, go, go!
I bought grab bags last time and I have barely used the cards so I'm passing on those and the shipping to the UK was more expensive than the stamp.
It's ok, you're safe for now, bank balance.

I bought the grab bags from IACB and the embellishment grab bag. I also got that outdoor stamp that is new.

I was checking out ten minutes after the birthday sale starting and the $3 IACB card set was already sold out. It had been in my cart, but sold out while I was checking out. Sad! I got that adorable adventure stamp set with the bear. I CANNOT resist hiking/mountain stamps for the life of me!

Did anyone get a shipping notice yet?
I have to use my husbands PayPal because they refuse to let us put the same credit card in 2 accounts so I don’t get the emails. I really dislike this part of PayPal.

My tracking for my FYC kit finally updates yesterday and it passed through customs, assumably, and is in my local mail system. I literally ran around my living room in excitement - husband thought I was utterly bonkers. I just kept thinking that I don't know how you waited two months. Two weeks drove me crazy. It's all a learning curve... it's definitely putting me off ordering from the US at the moment.

My new KP quarantine + replacement items order is still sitting in pre-shipment since May 28. It hasn't been handed over to USPS since... I'm super happy for you! You're really close to getting your stuff now. Just a few more days and it'll be in your hands, yay! Meanwhile, with 9 days of sitting in pre-shipment already, I think I'm in for another long, long wait. Just one more aspect of the pandemic testing my zazen discipline. I need adhesive desperately but I can only find acid-free tape easy to ship to me from SB.com. Needless to say, I'm putting the order off as long as possible to try and not add to the backlog. Shipping from the US is a major b*tch at the moment and I can't imagine it being resolved before another month at least. Yikes.

I got my stuff today. It’s my first feed your craft order. I got the grab bag cards from IACB. They are all so pretty. There is some travel, the book kit and some Christmas. I also got the embellishment grab bag and that cute outdoors stamp. I will order again for sure.

Bah humbug, sorry you got stung too. I went into it knowing it was likely (happened last time I ordered from them) but it was still worth it to me - it’s my favourite scrappy topic, and I love the colours and her style generally. mine arrived today and yeah, still love it. There are several pieces that can also be used for non-travel. The only thing I’d change is to have the cards on the same card stock as the die cuts.

The 6/1 sale was a shop birthday event. Normal monthly kits are released 6/15. Has anyone seen sneaks anywhere yet?
I questioned if maybe the bday sale was all there’d be for June, but the recent newsletter said there’d be a 6/15 release. Does anyone know who designed the kit?
ETA: sneaks sighted. I repeat: sneaks sighted.
I guess I just needed to hold my patience a couple more hours. Lol.

Totally not trying to be nitpicky but I think it’s more hard times themed — like AE’s tough story kit — and not quarantine specific.
