So far I have finished 10 pages this weekend, and another one is drying to be photographed tomorrow. I have been hanging out over at the MEGAcrop thread, but will be back here by Monday to post my pages and leave some love.

I’m keeping this weekends projects here just so I can find them when I get home. My last four cards I made yesterday. I used the two sheets of paper with large daisies on them for my quick base and then the cut apart words.

i apologize in advance for flooding this thread with my pages from this crop weekend, but I finished 13 pages and want to have them shared here as a group so I can calculate the points (and double them!) before tomorrow evening. And for a change of pace, I managed to put together a single page that is NOT hockey! This will go into the vacation album I hope to make for my son's family: Explore by Gramma Dee, on Flickr POINTS: one page created & shared (2), Simple JOYS for the March Donna challenge (5), #10 January photo (1), #11 on vacation (1), #17 large photo (1), #26 large photo (1), #28 kraft (1), #35 stamps (1), #37 sequins (1), #48 love these girls (1), #50 stamped & embossed (1), #57 torn edges and hand cut stamped pieces (2), #58 scraps (1). Total: 19. Mega crop double 38. I love watching the kids play hockey, but I have to admit that scrapping the hockey can get a bit repetative, especially when you leave them all winter to do all at once... So it was a wonderful relief to take a moment and do a page highlighting such a peaceful photo!

I have been playing around with all the things and finishing nothing this weekend, but I did manage one - an upcycled card I found in an old journal. I cut the front panel out with a stitched rectangle die, cut a piece of almost identical pink colored cardstock to cover up the odd sentiment that was on here ("there's always something, isn't there?"), and added one of the hello die cuts and some gold hearts I had stashed away. It's going in my box for Bring Smiles to Seniors this week. http://instagram.com/p/B9fbp1pJ2P5

Sharing this today as it just went live on my blog. Completed it on March 1st, so it doesn't qualify for the MEGAA crop so am posting it here.
As with many of my layouts I give brief descriptions on my blog along with details of the creative process. Since I am used to posting it all there and know I have a few readers I will continue that practice. Posting details on Flickr or other places is just more time that I would rather spend crafting!

Not playing this month, but thought I’d share since I was able to scrap a little.
I used art crayons to watercolor the black and cream fussy cut flowers , butterflies and tiny bees. The background is Vicki Boutin’s original premade mixed media pad as well as a couple of her older paper collections. Love it!

Looks like people are still crafting away... I need to go back and leave love for creations shared here and on the Crop thread and the Gallery. Lots of eye candy!
I spent yesterday shopping and doing errands. Today I have been [trying] to get some order into this scrap room. Actually got quite a bit accomplished today: all the pp and cs is stored away. art and card making supplies are in piles, ready to be sorted tomorrow.
This afternoon I started going through printed photos, deciding what I was likely to scrap in the future, and the fate of those pic's that probably will not be seeing a page soon--or ever. Found some pic's I had taken last spring that I decided needed to be scrapped, so I have a couple of pages laid out ready to be put together tomorrow. I had actually tucked into the photo envelope a couple of packages of stickers and a PL card I think one of the peas posted last year for the spring crop 2019. So all I really had to do today was find some pp and cs that matched. Hoping to finish and post in the morning before getting back into sorting and putting stuff away again...
Going out for supper with friends this evening. Talk to you later...

Because today has been an exercise in frustration... I finished 8 cards in this design (light colored distress ink smooshed backgrounds, cut file design with a little yellow blended over the top) and it took me all afternoon because I couldn't get the settings quite right on my ScanNCut so I was having to go back with a craft knife to tidy up lots of those tiny cuts... and now I went online to mail them to the charity and find that the little box is going to cost $20 in postage! So I'm going to unpack that perfectly packed box and use a priority flat mail box to save $5 but if I'm going to do that I may as well put a lot more cards in (it's a much bigger box) so... yeah. Today did not go quite as I had planned. But the cards turned out quite pretty. If I'd been able to get the cuts right I was going to make a LOT more. Maybe tomorrow will be more successful. I'm going to go read a book now. http://instagram.com/p/B9kpTD5gwHn

Finished this 2 pager this morning for the March Donna challenge. I found these photos yesterday. They were taken and printed last spring, and I had tucked them away with a printout of a MEGA crop 2019 card that LisaDV posted for us for that crop, some layered stickers and some artist themed wood veneer. I guess I just got busy scrapping other things when the crop was over and never got back to these. I guess there IS benefit to doing a deeper clean...

Catching up on comments... KikiPea, your page is beautiful, beginning with that gorgeous photo. Perfect stickers. Awesome layering and clustering, as usual. I love how you used the art crayons on the flowers to carry through from the VB artsy background! joblackford, I love the mottled background behind those diecut eggs. Looks just like the coloured Easter eggs we do with the kids. And who could not grin opening that pug card! What a perfect photo of the pup with one ear up for a Hello card! Think I caught the rest on Flickr. I need to go back to the MEGA crop thread to look at everyone's Sunday/Monday posts.

teacherlisa , cute way to get both a cute card and a great envelope with the same cut. Very clever. Linda , I love your college page and the sentiment about choosing things close to your dream. Doesn’t it feel good to finish a layout that has been sitting a while?~ Your pieroggis and soda page looks like lots of little simple joys. I hope you counted it for the Donna Challenge.~I had to laugh that your paper was as old as the college student. Unfortunately, I have some of those too. LOL~ I love the design on your Earrings page. You did a fabulous job interpreting that sketch.~LOL on the “bra” card! I think I caught the others in individual threads.~ I love your sunflower card. Are those fingerprints on the background? ~ It’s fun to see your face shining out from this thread! christinec68 , grammadee , AussieMeg , angel97701 and gramma , I will catch your works in the gallery. gmcwife1 , your Tuesday Morning paper cards are beautiful. I especially love the white frame on some of them. You are a card making machine!~ I love the cut aparts you have used as card fronts. That gold looks so rich!~ Those last daisy cards are really pretty. I love the different sentiments on them. KikiPea , your Fort Worth page is gorgeous. The photo is beautiful and your use of the pink on the background is perfect. Love the way you did the title on the shape of Texas. Lovely. joblackford , I love your puppy card and appreciate the links to the Cards for Seniors. Your cut out eggs are amazing. I’m sorry you had to do a lot of hand cutting. I love the background inking you did. Simply beautiful work.

I managed to make another 6 of the Easter egg cards with slightly more success/less frustration than the other day. Yesterday I also made some quick cards using one of the older Sheetload of Cards sketches and some of the Jenn Hadfield paper I have leftover from my fall crafting. I made 13 cards for Bring Smiles to Seniors. I was really quite happy with how the Gina K sentiment mini stamp set I won in an Instagram giveaway worked for these. Happy to have another page done - I had this sitting on my desk for over a week - thank GOODNESS I was using a sketch or I would never have remembered what I was doing when I got back to it! I forced myself to finish it up before I let myself unpack my purchases from my LSS yesterday (but I did use some new thickers - the "ministry" and "silly" are both found in ONE package of thickers and they are an awesome size). And the stitching at the top isn't that wiggly in real life - the paper is warped from my mixed media background! I tried to digitally straighten it a bit, but it made the stitching way wonky. layout ministry of silly waterfall walks by kirstendrew, on Flickr
